XenonDepot Reviews (%countItem)

They said my refund was processed after April 16, 2018. The day my charge back was reversed but I have not seen anything in my bank since.
***

Bought the product on Feb 17, 2018, they first would not refund me because there was an attempt to install it so they guessed it was damaged.

Feb 28 2018, I filed a chargeback.

Apr 16 my bank cancelled/reversed the chargeback since they told them they would refund me.

I contacted them and they said it was done after the chargeback was reversed. I was told this on April 17. Since then I have not seen any money from them.

I have been told from Rob that he isnt able to process a refund. Then Danny has told me is was processed. Either way I have not received anything. No check or credit into my bank since.

They need to contact there bank and look into where this money went. I have contacted my bank and they show nothing.

Desired Outcome

I would like my $112 back. They have the product returned in perfect condition.

Business has agreed to give me a store credit. Its not what I had liked. But Im sure I will be able to find something else from there inventory.

Can close ticket.

Received either the incorrect or defective kit!
I made a purchase for an HID kit at Xenon Depot (XD) and they sent me the wrong kit and are denying this. I have many emails back and forth with them as well as input from professionals in the lighting realm who have clearly told me that I received the wrong kit. I would be more than happy to provide you with the pictures and emails. There are literally dozens of examples on the Internet forums of the same kit I purchased but the kit I received is a totally different color than what it should be! I didn't want to have to do this, but everyone is telling me to file a chargeback claim for this matter. I've never done something like this before and wanted to give Xenon Depot a chance to fix the issue but nothing has been done for a while now and it seems I don't have a choice at this point.

XD is refusing to allow me to return the kit (even with postage to Canada paid on my end) and are denying that I received the wrong bulbs after numerous attempts to prove to two of their reps that these bulbs aren't 5000K. They offered to ship out the supposed 6500K bulbs, but that is not what I ordered (and there's no record of these actually bring shipped yet since they don't send them with tracking).

I called again today for the fourth time and still could not get ahold of the owner, ***, who others have referred saying he might be able to help me as he runs this whole operation. After numerous email attempts, one of their reps, ***, has been giving me the same responses. ***. *** has been answering my four phone calls with the same response every time. It's getting ridiculous at this point.

I understand that a 5000K bulb will vary kit to kit but you can google "5000K Xtreme HID" or "Xenon Depot 5000K" and see quite a large disparity between the 5000K kit I received and the kit others have received from XD. I have proof with invoices and pictures from two of their customers who ordered the exact same kit on their cars (same projector housing/car as mine) and there's clearly a night and day difference. The kit might be wrong or faulty altogether. I also have experts who have stated in writing that the kit is totally off from what I ordered. Proof of this is available as well.

Anyone with an inkling of experience in dealing with HIDs can clearly see the color is off due to the either an incorrect bulb temperature or a faulty kit altogether. Like I said earlier, I called a few different places, asked a handful of automotive lighting experts after showing them the HID kit that XD sent me, and did some online research. It's been confirmed I received a faulty and/or incorrect set by everyone but the guys at Xenon Depot.

And since they already have this on record, I thought I'd add this as well. I called XD for the first time last week on Wednesday, June 17th, 2018 around 10 AM EST to inquire whether I should go with the 4300K or 5000K before I placed the order that same evening and they told me to go with the 5000K. In short, I have the receipt for this as well as proof they sent me the wrong kit. Order number is 62626 and total purchase price was $123.99.

This ordeal has been quite frustrating over just $150 kit.***
Regards

Desired Outcome

I already tried to reach out several times to give them a chance to fix this issue and send me what I actually ordered. I even offered to pay shipping both ways but they are refusing to help. I don't wish to deal with this business in any future proceedings ***.

XenonDepot's failure to provide full refund and return shipping for misleading product description acquired through their website.
Product acquired from XenonDepot.com aka Art of Light Industries on *** merchant. Purchase date if November 27, 2017, ***, payment method ***. Item bought XT-H! an H! HID Kit/Xtreme HID. Regular Price $154.99 USD, 25% off ($38.75) net price of $116.24 USD.

Website requests user enter in their vehicle information, mine was a 1999 Ford Explorer, website then lists corresponding light bulbs. I needed to replace burnt out fog lights, so H1 bulb is required for front fog light bulb, then XenonDepot website lists product options. My bulb has an L shape bracket housing, the XenonDepot website shows an L shape bulb; however, that is not what is shipped and what I received. I received a straight bulb bracket housing, which would indicate not a perfect fit and it is unknown how the bulb would stay secure in its place and not allow natural elements (rain, snow, road salt) into the housing. Secondly, the bulb sent is longer than the one replacing and I am not sure that it would fit. Third, instructions to the installation are not vehicle specific, even though customers enter into XenonDepot's website their specific vehicle, and there are two loose wires (black and grey) that require a connection to the vehicle, but since the instructions are not vehicle specific, it is unknown how or where these connect to the vehicle. The instructions and the website are very poorly put together.

The website is misleading, and not the product I expected to receive. Additionally, *** of XenonDepot indicated a 10% restocking fee for all returns, but their website does not list that on the return policy page, only that some products might require a 20% restocking fee and subject to inspection if an installation is attempted (not applicable in my case). XenonDepot does not have "hassle free" returns as listed on their website, as *** of XenonDepot.

*** of XenonDepot response was
"While I concede your point that the stock imagery showing on the page for the kit does not picture the exact same type of bulb you received (I believe that image is actually picturing our H11 Philips 4300K bulb, which features the L-shaped base)," XenonDepot acknowledges that it is not the same type of bulb received, and I am disabled and unable to do anything more than a plug and play installation, and they will not provide a full refund without expecting me to pay for return shipping of $38.00. It is unconscionable for a business to have customers enter into the website their specific vehicle information, see a photo of the part that matches what they removed from their vehicle, only to receive a different looking part, then expect the customer to pay for the return shipping in order to get a full refund. The error is on XenonDepot for operating a commerce system that is misleading, because they did not take the time to make each entry vehicle specific based on customer's input of vehicle type.

Desired Outcome

Full refund of $116.24 USD. Whether XenonDepot.com wants to issue the refund in full without also paying for the return of their product is up to them, but if they want their product returned, then also a prepaid shipping label for the return.

Customer Response • Jan 15, 2018

Product was shipped back via UPS on January 12, 2018, and expected return delivery is set for Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Shipping cost $25.44 USD. I have not heard back from XenonDepot, aka Art of Light Industries, and still awaiting a decision from a complaint with *** that processed the payment. The company has also failed to reply to ***'s inquiry too.
