Received a fictitious invoice for a fictitious business listing in a fictitious directory. Invoice was for $498.86. I never ordered this advertising as I haven't advertised in the yellow pages in over a decade. I tried calling the customer service number and could only leave a voicemail (of course). This is a scam as evidenced by the "F" rating on bbb.org and the number of complaints to the FTC. I also filed a complaint with the FTC. They use an innocuous scam where they call you asking you to confirm a business listing and then edit the recording of that (which is illegal to make in PA by the way without my permission) so it sounds like you actually agreed to buy their services. NEVER participate in these calls as they are ALWAYS scams.

Received invoice from Yellow Business Book for $498.81 for services neither ordered or desired. I received the invoice for services I never requested, nor was I even contacted. I received an invoice on account number 075-5547855-2102 dated 10.11.2018 for basic services I never requested, starting on 09.28.2017 for 2 years. The invoice reflects they entered "basic" services at no charge (posted 09.29.2017). I do not recall ever being solicted for nor accepting any services. I would never have accepted any services since I have no office and have been retired from active practice. Like others, my "category" is listed as "Physicians and Surgeons", so they are aware of my personal information and professional status. Again, I am retired (not in practice) and have never had staff that was authorized to have accepted for me. I have made several toll calls to their stated number, 877-942-2889, but answers are by "customer service" which is never answered and ends in being sent to voicemail. I intend to ignore this (and future) invoices (for payment) but want to be confident that no adverse reports are submitted to credit bureaus. The desired settlement is cancellation of the "charges" and a guarantee that no further action will be taken, including any adverse reports to credit agencies.

Received a bill from the Yellow Business Book for a Listing in the Yellow Business Book which I did not authorize, The bill; was for $489.80. I sent the Company a Certified letter that this listing was not authorized and I will not pay the bill and will file a complaint with the California Dept. of Consumer Affairs if they attempt to bill me again. This appears to be a scam.

The bill said I bought the bold listing of our business for 2 years on 1/**/14.

But I haven't receive any call from them or other advertising company to list my business.Desired Settlement: I wish they stop calling me and get rid of this bill that is not true.

Review: I received a bill for $492.81 from Yellow Business Book for listing in the YELLOW BUSINESS BOOK, Palos Heights Edition for the posting on 12/**/2013. There was no other explanation. The balance is due 1/**/2014 and they also affix 1.9% late fee.

I had not authorized the company to list my business in their book, nor I had signed a contract for such a publication.

I called the number in the statement [redacted], but I had not been called back to clear this situation.

I do not want to incur this unnecessary expense for a publication which I had not given my permission.

The account number the Yellow Business Book assigned to me is #[redacted]Desired Settlement: Drop the charges of $492.81. Send me a statement clearing me of any debt.

Review: I have rreceived a bill for a listing in the yellow business book that I did not OK. This is the first I have even seen the listing or heard of this company. I have called and left a message that I will not ok the listing. They do not answer their phone but send you to voice mail.Desired Settlement: I do not want to be listed in their directory or be charged for being listed in it.

Review: I received an invoice from this company for a service (listing) that I did NOT contract for. They state the bill is due for $488.91. I am retired for a number of years and I certainly have no need whatsoever for an advertising listing. I researched this company and have found other similar complaints. I have never communicated with this company or spoken with any of their representatives.Desired Settlement: I want this account cancelled. I want this billing cancelled. And I do not want any further communication from this company.

Review: I received a bill from this company on 1/**/14 for accunt number [redacted] with a listing date of 1/*/14 stating "Sold To:[redacted] MD" which we would never list ourselves under that name in any directory as we have a dba we use instead. "Date Sold: 1/**/13" and "Due Date:2/**/13" why would they wait a year to invoice? Contact is [redacted] which our business owner but he does not authorize this type of service, nor does he answer phone calls at this location, instead I would have and I shred these advertisements when I get them in the mail. They are trying to charge us for 2 years of Bold Listing for a price of $493.82.Desired Settlement: I am not paying this invoice and would like to know this will not affect the business's credit. I have read on multiple other sites that this is a scam.

Review: The Revdex.com website is flooded with complaints about this fraudulent billing practice, and I have chosen not to pay this bill, but rather contact you, and my state attorney generals office.

I have been receiving bills from Yellow Business Book for a service that I didn't authorize or need. I have never taken out a Yellow Page ad for my business, as all of that is taken care of by the company I sublease my Optometric practice from, and they have not had a Yellow Page ads for years to my knowledge.

My assistant acknowledged that she spoke to "a Yellow Page company" sometime in mid April 2014 verifying our phone number. She did not authorize this service, as she knows I am solely responsible for this kind of service and would have informed me if there was a contract to be signed, which I never saw or signed.

I received a bill from Yellow Business Book on April **, 2014 for $493.88.Desired Settlement: I would like Yellow Business Book to write off any balance that they claim I owe them, and never contact me again.
