April 20, 2014Dear *** ***,This letter is response to the complaint filed by *** *** *** regarding her consignments with our auction service Both of the consignment lots she brought in to us were combined and sold at the same public auction on February 22,
We normally attempt to call each customer once their consignment lot is going up for sale so that they may attend the auction if desired I assume this happed with her lot, but I can’t confirm it She has consigned with us in the past as well, so she should know how we operate. Her items in question sold for a gross amount of $410.00, and a check was issued, less our commission fee of 35% for a total of $ We also issue a detailed sales report of the items sold, and *** ***’s report is pages While I realize this amount is less than *** *** is hoping for, the items were sold at a public auction and we have no control over the amount realized Sometimes things go higher than expected, sometimes they go lower It is the nature of our business We generally cut checks and issue payment in business days Unfortunately, the release of her check was delayed due to a few outstanding items from her lot due to left bids We don’t require pre-payment for customers who leave left bids, and sometimes this poses a problem We are considering making a policy change so that we avoid this issue Her check and sales report have been sent to her, and shall consider the issue resolved If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Just wanted to let you know that the check they said they sent arrived in todays mail - April 28, 2014. Also I want it put it the records that I was never told that the items were sold at the auction after making several phone and email attempts. Thanks,

Review: I dropped off 2 large lots of very good product to be auctioned off by this company. One was dropped off on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 and one was dropped off on 1/13/14. It is now April 10 and I have not received a check for either lot. After have called many times and sent many emails just was their website states and no one will call me back.Desired Settlement: I want a check for both lots or I want them to deliver all of my product back to my house. My product is on their property on the left side of their bld (facing the bldg) in a metal storage container on the left side).

April 20, 2014Dear [redacted],This letter is response to the complaint filed by [redacted] regarding her consignments with our auction service. Both of the consignment lots she brought in to us were combined and sold at the same public auction on February 22, 2014. We normally attempt to call each customer once their consignment lot is going up for sale so that they may attend the auction if desired. I assume this happed with her lot, but I can’t confirm it. She has consigned with us in the past as well, so she should know how we operate. Her items in question sold for a gross amount of $410.00, and a check was issued, less our commission fee of 35% for a total of $266.37. We also issue a detailed sales report of the items sold, and [redacted]’s report is 5 pages. While I realize this amount is less than [redacted] is hoping for, the items were sold at a public auction and we have no control over the amount realized. Sometimes things go higher than expected, sometimes they go lower. It is the nature of our business. We generally cut checks and issue payment in 21 business days. Unfortunately, the release of her check was delayed due to a few outstanding items from her lot due to left bids. We don’t require pre-payment for customers who leave left bids, and sometimes this poses a problem. We are considering making a policy change so that we avoid this issue. Her check and sales report have been sent to her, and shall consider the issue resolved. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.Sincerely,
