I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
It is perfectly apparent, as in visually clear, how the gutter does not attach properly to the roof and I have shown images of this Young Development needs to officially accept responsibility for this substandard repair and commit to its remediation. The notice to tenants regarding security doors was totally ineffectiveThe rear door has been its usual thoroughfare all this past weekend, immediately after the notes were deliveredI have attached a photo of the trampled snow outside this door to show the event of traffic by tenants and visitorsTenants cannot be prevented from abusing these doors but they can be held accountableLack of accountability is the whole issue with Young DevelopmentThey do not hold their employees accountable to perform their jobs properly and this leads to disdain for tenants, ignoring their valid requests and poor maintenanceI asked at the leasing office months ago for adjustment to the rear door so that it would automatically close when people leftThere was no action takenYoung development recognizes the legal ramifications of this rear door issue since the notice to tenants appeared less than a day after I sent the e-mail to the Revdex.comPage of the New York State's Tenants Rights document states that multiple dwellings must have self locking doors at all entrancesThe rear door Has NOT NOT SELF LOCKed - it has stayed ajar and I repeat, Young Development has not addressed the issue until complaint has been made beyond their leasing officeTenants are not held accountable and therefore they ignore paper notices since nothing will be doneThere is legal recourse against this failure of security I have been patient and pleasant during my time in these apartments despite being told to go live somewhere else when I removed a wedge from the security door when I first arrived [the issue stems from before my tenancy I can assure you]More recently, when I removed a newspaper that wedged open the door lock I was asked "what the *** hell are you doing now!" I never know if I will have abuse hurled at me when I enter or leave my apartmentThis is a stressful way to live and could be obviated if tenants were expected to observe rules and be accountableI am out of all patience and gladly would terminate my lease but I am trapped until July in face of a hefty financial penaltyMeanwhile:- Young Development has failed to maintain property and failed to maintain a secure environment - violation of lease and tenant legal rightsRegards

I am writing this letter in response to the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted] dated October 7, 2015. The winter storms last year did leave quite a few gutters in need of repair throughout our portfolio. A project had to be put together to address all of the gutters, and work had to be scheduled....

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The eviction was retaliatory after Young Development spray painted the motorcycle in my possession on the premise.  No moneys were owed, and I have proof of that.   In addition to bank records, on 06/29/2015 Accounts Receivable verified over the phone with me that I owed no money.  Within ten days of my pursuance for damages to my property, I was served the notice to appear in court.  The eviction was only granted because Young's attorney offered to drop the money judgement if the judge would grant the eviction.  Young's attorney offered to drop the money judgement because I had proof of payment and no monies were ever actually owed.  Buyer beware, none of the maintenance issues were fixed, I remain in contact with one of the other tenants who currently resides there.  It is a fact that the septic vent pipe still spews sewage along the side of the building, the roof has not been replaced, and the windows have not been fixed, the laundry facilities not fixed or upgraded. I would like to see what a building inspector/ health official had to say about the condition of those buildings.

As stated in previous responses, the Gutter has been replaced.  Since it is not rainy season it is difficult to see what it going on with it.  The gutter was replaced after Ms. [redacted] sent the second complaint.  We will have it looked at again by the maintenance team as soon as possible.  We do not have any control on tenants leaving the doors open, and we have sent a letter out to the building.  We will send a second letter to remind the tenants not to prop the doors open or leave the back door open. Thank you, Sandy M.
