Review: This company is a complete sham!! They said I could receive a full refund after 90 days of initial purchase date. After realizing it was a sham, I called, waited on hold for 48 minutes then was told to write a letter and request a refund. I did. No refund. Disputed charge with credit card company, only to have American Standard highlight my signature. Repeated this process twice to no avail.Desired Settlement: This still has not been settled.

Review: This company is scam and is taken people and charging people a fee of 199 just to see listing of forclosures homes .They have not help only thing have done is taken my money. On the computer they list a different city. They only way I knew they was in Santa Barbara I read on ripoff report where this girl said she work their and these people is ripping people off for their money .Telling you to go drive by these forclosure homes and the people are still living in their home sending me the wrong information every time I request something,I don't even have a job and I gave them the money because they said they can find me rental property and havent found me anything. or help me any way at all.Desired Settlement: I just want my money and somebody need to do something about this company.

Review: upon discovering that their services were impossible to utilize, a refund was demanded, and no response came from this company. They clearly state in their policy that a refund will be given for any dissatisfaction with their service. They do not respond and I am beat.Desired Settlement: $199

Review: I tried to cancel my account with the company but was advise of others issues not released at the time the payment of accepted on June 5,2014 with terms and conditions.I was told I could Cancel the online service to find houses any time after 90 days just send in a cancellation notice certified USPS I sent the notice on Set-15,2014 to cancel but was told I had to send denial letters along with the cancellation notice. How can I send denial notices when I never got any responses and my responses would have gone directly to the company.I was told by customer service I need denial letters before I could get my money back I told the agent I was never told about needing to have denial letters I was told I was I should have added please accept or deny this letter that was the first time I every was told that and when I ask for a manager I was transferred back in the call que...when I got back to customer service I was told they were the manager and I signed the contract ...I ask to talk to his manager and was hung up on . I feel my 199.00 is being held hostage because I was told all I had to do was cancel 90 days if I wasn't happy.I know calls are recorded so they have records of all my call two or three times a month.I'm frustratedbecause not able to get my money back.Thank you for listeningDesired Settlement: I just want my money back

Review: I joined the program on 4/14/2014 in hopes of finding a home for my family. After mailing out over 100 letters to obtain a home I have not received any responses. I have contacted the company several times to get a refund, each time I have been given another hoop to jump in order to get the refund; wait 90 days, call back to speak with a manager, you need 5 denial letters, and now I'm being told I have up to one year to receive the denial letters and submit them for a refund. With each call to this company the representatives grew more and more rude. The issue is I have not received any responses so how am I supposed to submit any denials? This started as a way for me to find a suitable home for my family and if everything worked as planed to acquire more property for investments. After this failed attempt I simply want the refund I was told I could have and to end my relationship with this horrible company.Desired Settlement: A full refund to my credit card as promised by the first agent I spoke with on 4/17/2014. My order ID is 7**53

Review: I need to move very soon for job relocation. I found an ad on craigslist for homes in the area (Putney, GA) I was looking to move. I called ###-###-#### and it was this company (American Standard). I spoke to a gentleman and he informed me that I would get assistance in finding a home in that very area. He wanted my credit card info, I was hesitant, he said there is a one time payment of $199 to register/use the service. He informed me I would get an email with a user name and password and all I would have to do is look through there listings. I specifically asked if I would be charged the $199 immediately, and he said NO! As soon as I received the email.... the email states that I was charged $199! I called the company back, and I was informed that since I provided the information and confirmed the email, I would have to wait 90 days for a refund if their service was unsuccessful. Today I read further into the refund policy, but and it says I need 5 denial letters from homeowners in order to get a refund. To top it all off.... There are NO HOMES in the area I was looking into. The specific area of Putney, GA. I am very upset as I need that money for my move and it was taken from me in a blink of an eye.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of $199 as I will not need their service. There are no homes available in Putney, GA

Review: I have contacted this company several times requesting a refund. I was e-mailed back a response on how to help me use the company, nothing about how to request a refund.Desired Settlement: I just want my $199 back. The service did not work for me and I informed them of this shortly after I joined.

Review: These people are scams. I've had the services for months now and done everything asked of to find a home. Some address are not real and I have yet to receive any information or call backs yet from this company. I have requested my $199.00 back from them and they are telling me now I need denial letters from the homeowners to get my refund. How am I supposed to get denial letters if the addresses are not occupied or don't exist? These people are scammers and I want my monies due to me.Desired Settlement: I canceled my account done the refund requirements and want my $199.00 back please.

Review: I answered s cragis list ad for a house for sale. I called the number and was told I could have the house but it cost 199 dollars for title transfer fees. I went to the home to look at it and there are people living in it and its not for sale. The company refuses to give me my money back that wasn't suppose to be charged until I signed the paper work. Now im out 199.00 dollars and no home.Desired Settlement: 199.00

Review: This company is extremely misleading and unethical. When I contacted this company, they mentioned at the very beginning that I could get a refund of my $200 at any time and that it was "easy" to obtain this refund. Both were lies. I have since canceled my membership and have tried to contact the company multiple times to go about the refund procedure, and I have yet to receive a reply of any kind. Mind you, I have contacted them over ten times. I am a college student looking for affordable housing and I was taken advantage of and now I am out $200.Desired Settlement: I would first like my refund of $200. Then I would like to see this business shut down. I have read multiple reviews of hard working people being scammed and it is simply not fair that this business is taking care of hard working people.

Review: I enrolled in there service being told if I did not find anything I would receive a refund the 90 day refund policy was never explained. I called 3 times to request rental property information. It took the third request to finally receive information. I was sent 3 listings that were all out of the price range I gave them. I called my representative, O[redacted] back and was told she would call me right back and never did. I called into the main # and was told about the 90 day return policy I explained that was never told to me and asked to speak to a manager. After a long wait a manager got on the phone, she interrupted me, told me not to yell at her, which I had not even raised my voice. She said they would look into it, I said fine but I want the refund, she proceeded to start laughing. I hung up and then filled for a cancellation online.Desired Settlement: I just want my $199 fee refunded. They were not able to help me or even provide me with the correct information.

Review: I recently tried to obtain a listing of foreclosed homes from this company and their terms and conditions stated that they would offer a refund, however they are now reneging on returning the monies paid for the services. They stated that because I do not have 5 denial letter from the homeowners that I requested to take over their home loans,(over 25,which NONE of them have responded), that I have no proof of the attempt to use the service and that I will forfeit my $199 payment by not having these letters. I have explained that there is no possible way to guarantee the homeowners have received my letter or even have the desire to respond by sending a denial letter, and that there is no other way to contact the homeowners (phone number or e-mail) to request these letters besides the initil address provided, that I have yet to receive the first response from. I explained that if the homeowners are not REQUIRED to send denial letters then how would they expect their customers to have them in the event of a refund request. I feel this company is a scam to trick people into thinking a refund is a simple process after a 90day waiting period, when in reality they do not state in the contract that IF the letters are not received that the customer will forfiet the payment made. I have spoken to the same manager who contiunes to tell me there is NOONE ELSE I can speak to (RED FLAG) about this and I feel they are in the business of stealing money based on the customer not being able to obtain denial letters.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of monies paid ($199)because of the misleading contract. Here is a copy of their policy: Cancellations/Refunds Notwithstanding any other terms in this Agreement, there are no other Refunds the Company will make other than contained in this "Refund and Cancellation Policy" section of this Agreement. The Company's refunds and cancellation policy is based on what type of product or service was purchased and is as follows: All request for refunds or cancellations have to be made in writing via USPS Certified Mail addressed to specified location of Customer Service on Contact Us page of the Web Site. No refund or cancellation will be made unless the Company and the User settle in writing each request for refund or cancellation. All refunds will be issued by check only and sent via USPS Priority mail with signature confirmation. Refund checks will be issued within thirty calendar days of the written agreement between the Company and User and will inclu

Review: The AmericanStandardOnline service is a fraud. They advertise that they are a renttoown service, they get you to sign up (register) to have access to their listing of homes in your area. During their phone presentation you are told that once they have given you access to their listings, that you are to just find the home with the specifications that you are looking for and that their customer service center will then setup a meeting between yourself and the homeowner for verification of income and finalization of a lease to purchase option. I asked many questions about how this process worked and I was assured that this was a legitimate service and that I would very likely find a property that I wanted through their listings. So I pay the registration fee of $199 and I am given a username and password to access their site. First, before begin given full access to the site you have to agree to their terms and conditions. Prior to me signing up for registration, I was guaranteed by the person that I was speaking to, Mr. Adam Winfield, that if I was not happy or did not agree to the terms, that I would be granted a refund. However, the only way to be able to determine if you are not happy, is to access the site for further information. What they don't tell you though is that once you access the site, then you become ineligible for a refund, because you have now accessed their listing information. The problem is, is that they have no vested interest in these homes, they have no agreement with the home owners, they are merely providing a listing of pre foreclosed properties, of which any person could access from a number of listings, most free. They also do not tell you that you are responsible for sending a letter to the homeowner to initiate contact and express the interest in getting them to rent to own you their home. The entire service is a sham. They are getting individuals to pay them a $199 registration fee and are providing nothing in return.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my $199 registration fee. I would also like to see that this organization is not allowed to continue preying on people who may be in vulnerable positions for a variety of reasons and are getting away with taking money and providing nothing to the consumer in return. They are not providing a renttoown service, as they have no control over whether or not the homeowner or the bank actually will agree to such an agreement. When confronted with what I found, they hung up on me.

Review: On October 9, 2013 while look for a place to live I found American Standard online. They stated I could find a house to live in with no down payment. I was desparate because my husband and I were homeless. They told to give their website a try and if I didn't find anything I could get a refund for the $199.99 they charged me. After looking at the site online on October 12, I emailed and called them to let them know this is not what I thought it was and that I wanted my refund. To me it was just more people in the same situation I was in, homeless. They informed me that I would have to wait 90 days for a refund. So, here I am almost 90 days later so I called them today. When calling them I was on hold for over an hour waiting my turn. From caller 10 to caller 4, I was disconnected so I called back and waited another hour. I told them why I was calling and they told me I had to provide at least 5 denial letters from the homeowners that I have contacted through AmericanStandardOnline.com. I never used their product and don't want to. That's when the hung up on be again. Please help me get my refund. We are on a fixed income and the $199.00 is a lot of money to us. My husband is a Veteran on disability and I have been unemployed over 3 years. Thank you so much for your help and time.Desired Settlement: They told me I could get a refund of $199.00 when I purchase the product and again on October 12, 2013. I never used the product and they know it because you have to login into their website to use it. I want and need the money refunded as they promised.

Review: When I signed up for the membership I was told that there was 40 homes in my area, and if I did not find one it was 100% refundable. When I received my on-line ID, there was no homes in my area, I called customer service and she said she would enter it manually and it would should up within 3 hours. It has now been three days later. I have called customer service again because I have decided to rent a home and asked for my money to refunded and they stated that I would have to wait for 90 days.Desired Settlement: My 200.00 refunded

Review: I called and paid the $200 that was asked for a service, I was told that the money $200 was refundable, so I feel confident in giving them the so called fees. The following day I called to cancel the contract. Because I found a home close by that the owner is willing to work with me, I called the company.I was told to send my cancellation in writing with certified letter, in which I did six times. I called my bank to help me resolved the issue, they lied to my bank that I used the service. I called them back, a guy named ALAN, told me that he can see that I did not use it that they would refund my money, its going to be one year in October 2014.Police and Investigators need to check this company out, they are scammers.Desired Settlement: I want my $200 back. Simple as that.

I found a house for 25,400, and im paying 400$ a month and I absolutely love this service, I dont see why everyone else is complaining, I guess you must be stupid. its a simple and easy process to get into a home, and I've been in this nice home for a few months now and I love this service. I talked to the operator 2331 and he was very helpful and educated me about the program and now I'm living pretty while yall who complained and couldn't figure it out are living zhitty. AMERICAN STANDARD ONLINE got me my dream home.

Review: On August 1,2014, I purchased something over the phone which was 200 dollars, it was regarding foreclosure houses, which they provided me an account with a listing of homes that are foreclosure and are for sale, but the houses that are on the website have been sold two to three years ago, even longer. I feel like this is fraud, and it should stop and I want my refund back. After the payment method they didn't answer my phone calls or answer my questions regarding the account. The customer service number they provided is only one person answering and is very rude. I did a police report regarding this and they told me to contact you guys. Please help me stop this scam, ThanksDesired Settlement: I want a refund of 200 dollars I paid, and I want this to stop, because who knows how many people money they took.

Review: My family and myself were been searching for a forever home and came across an advertisement on craigslist for a home. After calling the number (313)937-6075 and got directed to [redacted] a representative of American Standard Online.com. We talked to him a few times and we decided to start the process. They took the $ 199.00 immediately. We went online on their website and found out that all the listings were old and not accurate. the top contender we were been interested in was a house what just got sold on Nov 2013 and the Service Representative tried to tell me that the owner was late on a payment. COME ON AFTER TWO MONTH OF OWNERSHIP. the information about the properties were been completely wrong and unrealistic. After calling them and telling them that all the information were been wrong and outdated and demanding the cancellation of the membership I got told that I have to wait 90 days for the money to be refunded. But now after reading all the reports (which I should have done before) I realize that I might have to say goodbye to the money. They will never refund it. the address also is wrong. After going on a map I found out that the address is a shopping strip. This is for everybody else who wants to get into their home: DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER LISTED ABOVE. IT IS A FRAUD.Desired Settlement: Refund of the $ 199.00 within the 90 days.

Review: This is actually an advertising, billing, refund, and service issue all in one. This company posts ads on sites like Craigslist with houses available for rent. We called about an ad and they told us that if we paid the $199 for membership we would get access to a list of homeowners willing to sell or lease to own their pre-foreclosure properties. They misled us to believe these homeowners gave them their information for assistance with selling/renting, they made it seem like an easy process... you just log in and search for a zip code and then contact the owners and make a deal, that easy. Well after falling for their lies and false advertisement, we looked at their list, which had no contact info for the sellers, in fact none of these people even know that their information has been sold to us online. We were not told that all we got was an out of date list of homes that the owners can't pay their mortgage, the houses are empty, or they are not in foreclosure or for sale... The list is nothing but false information. We did some research and many many people have been scammed exactly the same. They will not refund our money. They falsely advertise homes on websites that don't exist, they lie to you to get you to pay their fee, and then they won't refund your money when you realize that you have been scammed. This company has been stealing money from innocent people for years and something needs to be done.Desired Settlement: We would like our $199 back in the least. We would also like to see this company shut down, so they can't steal money from people anymore. They have gotten away with it too long. I would love to see them pay back every penny to everyone they have stolen from.
