I have had multiple conversations with Mr [redacted] regarding his vehicle purchase, both over the phone and in person He signed multiple documents that confirm the purchase of the extended service contract He also had his glasses on and wrote everything down during the purchaseMr [redacted] has been advised on each of the multiple conversations I have had with him that we can cancel the extended service agreement it that is his decision However, the refund for the extended service contract would go to the lienholder, not him as he has not paid for the vehicle On each conversation he has thought it over and advised that he will keep the extended service contract So once again, we would be more than willing to cancel this service contract, but the refund of the contract will be going to the lender not Mr [redacted] [redacted] ***Yuba City Toyota/ ScionAssistant General Manager

As previously discussed on multiple ocassions with Mr***, we cannot re-write the contract due to legal reasons. We are willing to cancel the extended service contract, but can only send the refund to the lienholder. We will not be writing Mr*** a check directly as requested by him as a settlement or good faith refund. Attached are the multiple documents he signed acknowledging the extended service conract. This is our final decision.*** ***

was low in the radiator.  Checked and found Hydro Carbons at the radiator fill indicating issue with cylinder head, head gasket, or block to head surface.  Advised we would have to tear down and inspect to give accurate estimate.   Customer unable to comprehend our explanation and from the emails she has sent has been getting inaccurate advise from others.  When hydro carbons are present in the cooling system various symptoms are present depending where the compression to cooling system are compromised.  In this case it appears the compression is leaking into the cooling system causing excessive pressure which causes the radiator to push coolant into the overflow reservoir (which is how we found it).  We lowered the coolant level out of the overflow reservoir back to normal level and refilled the radiator.  We never claimed her engine overheated nor did we experience that. White smoke is caused when coolant goes through the combustion chamber and into the exhaust, we do not believe this is occurring at this time, it possibly may occur in the future as the condition worsens.  Milky oil occurs when coolant goes into the oil, we did not observe that either.  This 4runner came to us with a known issue with the number 4 cylinder.  We identified combustion entering into the cooling system.  We did not cause this issue.  We properly diagnosed her vehicle. And, we did not cause any additional damage by our diagnosis.  We find it peculiar that another shop worked on this vehicle a day or two prior to our diagnosis and she has failed to mention this. Also, thought it might be good to mention this vehicle also has 193,130 miles on it and head gaskets have failures with those amounts of miles.  Yuba City Toyota will not be refunding for our diagnosis as it left in the same condition it arrived. Thank you for your time and review.

I am rejecting this response because: The reference to my glasses where reading glasses focal length about 2 feet.  The computer screen was about 6 feet.  I trusted the lady but she didn't show me the documents I was signing otherwise I would have rejected them.  I am not clear why a mistake by the dealership cannot be corrected.  Some-wheres it is suppose to be that a customer has to be respected.  It just seems all can be rewritten.  I realize the people involved get there 50% of my money, but to improve future buyers relationship with the dealership maybe could pitch in for there mistakes.  Yes I took notes but who would spend $2450.00 with out a brochure or something substantial to describe the product (like having a menu at a restaurant).  I hope the dealship doesn't say there don't have something like that. My notes were more about functionality of the car.   I am disappointed that the dealship does not step up to resolve this problem.  They were able to resolve other issues to my satisfaction. It has been pointed out to me that most people don't qualify for the 0% so everyone 'piled on' to take advantage of an old people like me (72).    I know the extrended Warranty is a good product that is not the issue.  The issue is the way I was tricked into something I did not know I was.  The car comes standard with 3 years of warranty usually good enuf.  At this point  I would expect the dealership eat this, pay me the $2450.00.  respectively yours,[redacted]

Review: I bought my new car (red G6 Pontiac) July 2nd, 2015. They told me a new car. My first time to buy finance car 3 weeks the cars p/seat chair game out, broke following wk the driver’s seat and the 1st same chair mess up again. In August the car died on the freeway, following week died at that. (Rehab) I took it in the dealers shop, they fix it and check the engine. I drove about 1 or 2 weeks, heard a noise like a boiling water but it’s on and off. My daughter drove it to school and for her school project she heard boiling water sound it was getting worse smoke came out. It was even died on the freeway again. Luckily her friend’s dad bought her a new battery and that makes the car to [redacted] but did not make it to my house. It died there and later the next day brought it to the dealer smoke and sound until now they told me to pay $632 for service.Desired Settlement: They need to give me a brand new car (Toyota Camry) less the prize of this lemon car they sold me for $7995 for the new car and the rest I’ll pay for payments. Get rid of this car, no to sell or deceive any other customer (with this car) it. I also ask if you would add the reimbursement of my $639.+ that I just paid yesterday to bring my car out from the dealer.

Review: On 7/8/10 took my 05 4runner to Yuba city Toyota for a #4 cylinder missfire & was told that my vehicle had hc in the cooling system from a bad head gasket and for $3500 to teardown to inspect it. On 7/9/16 I drove my vehicle home and looked under the hood and saw that my vehicle's coolant reservoir was empty, however the temp.gage never got hot on the drive home. When I talked to [redacted] at Toyota about this and his explanation made no since at all and reading the multipoint inspection sheet and the invoice from Toyota that contridct each other and also states "not cooling"and my vehicle has never ever had any problem not cooling. Toyota said that the aprox. 1/2 gal.coolant missing from the coolant reservoir was "injested into the #4 cylinder and into the motor yet the vehicle has no signs of white smoke, milky oil, running rough and has not EVER been hot and does not EVER loose coolant or leak any fluids. Toyota refuses to explain any of this in writing for me. My vehicle has never been hot has never lost any coolant or had any leaking and the high milage oil change/inspection the vehicle had on 7/7/16 will show that Toyota is lying about my vehicle.Desired Settlement: Return the money paid for the diagnosis and to pay for any damages that could have been caused from driving my vehicle home with the empty coolant reservoir.

Review: Hi Revdex.com; When I got home and could read the fine print I realized I was charged $2450.00 for a Warrantee I did not want. Upon asking the dealership to fix they refused. Said I signed a little box on a table. I could not see what I was signing as my reading glasses focal length did not let me see the screen I was showed nothing in writing. During the sales pitch they explained the Warrantee I thought I get as standard with the car. The last Prius I bought with this dealship I did not buy the Warrantee. My fault was I trusted the finance person. Not being able to read was a hardship. I offered to let them drop the plan but they refused. I offered to split the cost they refused. I was there 6 hours never offered a test drive. All written documents were taken from me said they need to copy it. AT NO TIME WAS I TOLD THE WARRANTEE I HAD TO PAY FOR....Desired Settlement: The dealership said I could drop the Warrantee expense at the end of the loan. I want it to be dropped and loan rewritten. Or pay me the $2450.00 or split it with me or final offer pay me 1000.00$ for the misunderstanding. I agreed to pay 1024$ prepaid maintenance, after this Warrantee mess I would like to drop that too.

Review: I got toyota RAV4 on 4/11/15. The salesperson and manager promised new mats for the car. Eversince, despite leaving 4 messages, they are not responding. There is a chip in the windshield that they promised to repair, which they have not repaired. The dealership has also not provided me the details of toyota certification. The sales rep and manager and extremely rude.Desired Settlement: Need the dealership to perform or take the car back.
