[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] My complaint only relates to issues that existed at the time of purchase of which *** had to be aware but did not inform us or repair We agreed on a sales price based on our knowledge and acceptance that there was:Marred upholsteryDents in the front fender flareScratches on the hoodScrape on the rear fenderDamage on the rear of the roofDent on the tailgateCorrosion on the spareA trim piece was missing As part of the negotiation, we asked that a $trim piece be replaced They ordered and sent it only after we followed up on its late delivery We installed it.This was “as is” from my perspective They were all I knew about My complaint did not include these items It was restricted to the items that needed repair or replace at the time of purchase that *** had to know about but did not tell me If that practice is acceptable from a dealership, one should never pay a premium to buy from a reputable dealer rather than from a private seller since I am responsible for discovering all existing problems.After we purchased the vehicle additional problems came to our attention:Malfunction of the catalytic converterMalfunction of the fuel delivery systemThese issues arose a couple of weeks after purchase But I did not include them in my complaint because I thought *** might very well not have been aware of them I take issue with the assertion that I requested that items be repaired There was only 1, the trim piece listed above After the first test drive, we smelled an overheated caliper and pointed it out to the sales person ***, recognized the problem and proceeded to replace the caliper I did not request it at all, much less as a condition for purchasing the vehicle We were not in negotiations to purchase the vehicle at the time and I certainly did not offer to purchase if the repair was made I am not even sure that we indicated to *** at the time that we would return for a second test drive *** must have decided on their own to make the repair because it was an obvious problem that would dissuade any potential buyer from buying the vehicle However, when we did return for a second test drive, the repair had be made.I think my initial complaint, as stated is fair, not attributing responsibility to *** for items of which I was aware or of which *** may not have been aware at the time of purchase

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I do not accept because this is what I was already been told verbally by the managerBoth my husband and I agree, that there was not wear on the recliner, before brining the Jeep inWe believe that something more happened to the recliner then the salesmen, manager, and mechanic sayThere was clear evidence when picking up the vehicle that the lever was pushed back further then it should have beenMeaning either a: they used unnessasary brute force on the lever and intern broke it or b: sat/ pushed too hard on the recliner while observing the seatbeltEither way, again they broke the chair and it needs to be fixed.

I am not sure what more you need from me on this
issue. I don’t have any additional paperwork. Zimmer basically said
the resolution was that the dent I had repaired was not the same dent. That
someone hit my door in the exact same place that they had done the repair a
week earlier. When what happen was the bondo fell out a revealing the
dent that they were supposed to fix. I took the car back to have them to
repair it and he comes out with a paint brush and paints the bare metal
leaving a hole in my door. He walked away without listening to me and
said he would be happy to help me any time

I think Mr*** was a little premature in his complaint*** did make an error in the cancelation at the end of February but corrected the problem on March the 11thFor that error I apologize I show a complete refund of has been accepted by ChryslerChrysler usually issues

*** *** has a Jeep Wrangler with over thousand milesShe brought the Jeep to us for the first time on 06/22/She did request for us to look at the seatbelt because it was not functioning correctlyIn order to inspect the seatbelt the technician must move the passenger
seat forwardOur technician moved the seat forward by using the auto release handle located on the seat back, this is a mechanical part with metal gears that over time and usage will wear outIt is not uncommon for this to happen on a year old vehicle with thousand milesThe seat shows noticeable signs of wear and moves from side to side at the reclinerOur technician moved the seat forward time, he did not break the seatThe parts in the seat are just worn outIt is my understanding that this is a recent purchase and she may not know the complete history of this vehicle.Thank you,*** ***General Manager

I have two of the items you required The warranty and original quote were not given to me

The issues with vehicle are manufactures defects and they will be covered under the manufactures warranty at no cost to the customer. The new damage was not caused by its work. We performed an inspection of the area in question with a microscope which revealed the edges, that had the bondo just fell out there would be no edges and the dent would still be smooth from the sanding. It remains the business' position that the new damage was caused by something hitting the door in the same location after the door had been repaired.

third-party warranty company. As with some aftermarket warranty Companies, they will only approve work that they deem necessary and are never involved in the ultimate diagnosis and certainly never in the actual repairs. This vehicle, with 98,000+ miles, needed what it took from our company to repair, and warranty such repair in the immediate and somewhat long term future.As with most Aftermarket warranty Companies, to curtail their expenses, they short the repair shop and the customeras much as they can to reduce their ultimate coverage and costs.trust at this time, the vehicle is performing to the customers' expectations, or we would have had more complaints and correspondence.
