Misquote of $2900 more than contract, BROKER sold the business to a co. in TX, promised 3 guys to pack a home-1 guy showed up with no boxes, Bullys!
Our company moved an employee and his family from KY to TN. Contract family move on 2/19 paid by credit card. Misquote of more than $2900 from contract price, this company brokered the business to a company in TX (Zion), one guy showed up late, admitted he smokes weed, with no boxes or moving paper, threatened to take possessions to TX if final payment not submitted, hired two guys off Craigslist who no-showed, 3 & 4 no-showed, 5 & 6 showed at 11pm, left family photos, laundry baskets and entire kitchen, went back to get it and left more items, truck took 4 days to drive 340 miles, rude customer service. Multiple broken items and no response.

Desired Outcome

I want no one else to have to go through what this family and I had to go through. If it keeps people from never hiring this company, my work here is done. Multiple broken items and no response. The family would like a monetary reimbursement of $700.

The first problem started because they hired a man to assist the move hours before the actual process. The person they hired to help load my furniture came and was clearly on some sort of substance. He wouldn't wait for the driver to retrieve the blankets and necessary packing and protective gear. He tried to disassemble my bedframe stripping the screws therefore making it unable to break down completely. He also threw it around and it scratched my silver vanity. He proceeded to explain why Zion was a horrible company to move my furniture with and that he did not work for them and went on a racist swearing tirade. They ended up firing him on the job. He caused a scene where my concierge advised me they threatened to call the police. This was around 11pm as they arrived at 10pm on Thursday.

The driver moved what he was able to do alone and I witnessed him wrapping everything in blankets. He was there until about 2:30 in the morning. He advised he would have somebody there to help them in the morning to move the heavy furniture.

Zion was unable to get a second person to assist so they asked my older maintenance person to help them move my furniture.

Zion was also unable to update myself nor UME with any sort of logistical details of transit during the journey.

Upon delivery, once again there was not a second person to help unload the truck. Phillip advised that the driver needed to go across the state to Detroit to pick up the driver and then come back to unload my things. That would have been a six hour trip. I advised that I would find somebody and did. They said they would allow me to take money off of the price. Phillip said to work it out with the driver. We settled on a$200 discount and the gentleman I found helped him unload everything and not just the heavy pieces. Several pieces of furniture were damaged as they had removed the blankets and protective Layers designed to help prevent scratching. For example I advised the initial mover to unscrew the legs on my vanity (That was just

Other (requires explanation) It is still not resolved. The owner Phillip Fujamade, has been giving me the run around for 2 months.
