I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I did drop the items off in January, however, I returned in September and I never received a phone call and they have my number on file As I stated, they did respond that my items were donated, however, not notifying me and the items were not left for over a year They are correct, I have not used that cleaners in over a year, however, my clothes were not left there for over a year Why would I return to a business that gets rid of my clothes without notifying me I would have gladly paid a storage fee, and I believe that they should notify customers prior to getting rid of their clothing

WITH REGARD TO THE ABOVE CASE NUMBER AND COMPLAINT, WE HAVE NEVER SOLD COUSTMER CLOTHING.  THE POLICY IS TO DONATE CLOTHE AFTER CALLING THE TELEPHONE NUMBER ON THE CUSTOMER’S ACCOUNT TO NOTIFY THEM THAT THE ORDER OR ORDERS HAVE BEEN HERE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. WE TRY TO LEAVE...

A MESSAGE WHEN POSSIBLE IF THE CUSTOMER DOES NOT ANSWER THE TELEPHONE AND MAKE THREE ATTEMPTS TO REACH THE CUSTOMER. ALSO, THE BACK OF EACH RECEIPT THERE ARE THE CONDITIONS AND  IN BOLD THE FIRST THING STATED IS THAT  “WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ARTICLES NOT CALIMED WITHIN 30 DAYS”, AND WE ALSO HAVE THE SAME “CONDITION” NOTIFICATION IN THE LOBBY ON A 4X3 FRAME.
BESIDE THESE TWO NOTIFICATIONS WE HAVE AN 8X11 FRAME WITH A NOTICE IN BOLD:

Review: They sold my clothing or donated my clothing without notifying me that they were going to get rid of my clothes. Not only did I pay to clean them, but they got rid of them without notifying me. When I went to pick them up they said that the clothes had been at their facility too long and told me to look at the small notification stating that clothing left for over 60 days would be donated or sold.Desired Settlement: They need to notify customers of this policy prior to dropping off their garments. If I would have known I would have picked up my clothing sooner. I would not have minded paying a storage fee, but to have gotten rid of my silk blouses and not notified me when they had my telephone number is a real issue. My clothing was valued at over 500 dollars and they just gave it away.
