The initial phone contact included the statement from the agent: "you are probably out of luck" (...because of a certain circumstance...). The customer care agent requested submission of a photo of the damage. I did not receive acknowledgement of its submission until I subsequently emailed and phoned to see if the photo had been received. Acknowledgement followed, accompanied by a request for me to find and submit a unique identifying number on a tag somewhere on the furniture. Since sending that number, we received an email advising us that the agent would have some information about our claim 'shortly'. Since it has taken more than three weeks to get this far, we have little hope of a quick resolution. [redacted]
