The above customer bought an chevy trailblazer thru our `buy here pay here` program, in Sept 2014, as NO bank would give him a loanHe only had $ cash to put down, but we still did a loan for him , as he needed a vehicle badHe drove the unit for over months, and then advised us that
a few of the gauges were not working ( very common problem on chevy trucks ).We CLEARLY advised him that vehicles over years old are sold AS-IS, and had him sign the appropriate paperwork. We then advised him to bring the unit back and we would fix the gauges for FREE!!...We took the unit to a local repair center , they made the repair, we paid the repair cost, and customer re-took delivery of unitA month later customer called saying the miles were not matching up??...un known to us..the repair center put in a used dash cluster. we then took the unit to *** *** for a NEW cluster(again..@ our cost)..gave the customer a FREE loaner vehicle to drive while repair was being attempted*** *** *esponded to us, to have customer drive the unit for a bit and the mileage would catch up with the BMV allotted amount, NO repair was neededWe advised customer of this fact,,,and told him that we would do a goodwill FREE brake repair for himCustomer brought loaner vehicle back and agreed to have the FREE brake job doneThis is the only communication that I have had sinceWe NEVER 'tampered' with the odometer ( as the customer insinuates) As we always want to do right by our customers, We have performed all repairs for FREE...on an vehicle...sold over months ago
