Dear Ms. [redacted],I am in receipt of
your letter regarding the complaint by [redacted].It is an
unfortunate situation that I was not able to resolve this with Mr. [redacted] over the phone, which had been my intent. But my questions to gain more
understanding were met with...
threats of lawyers and such. As the conversation
digressed to cursing and racial slurs, I felt I could communicate with his
lawyer better than him. As [redacted] stated in
his complaint to you, it’s a quick and easy repair for his landscapers. For the sake of not
arguing, my intent had been to offer him $150.00 off his balance owed, which I
think is fair, since the only witness was my crew who saw the landscapers
walking on it.This would leave a
balance due to Roof Works of $250.00.As for the roof
repair, we performed the work outlined in his proposal as well as some extra
work not on the proposal. We did the work on a Friday and went back out the
following Monday within six hours of his complaint.I am attaching
photos we took of the wall the day my foreman, TJ, went out to meet with Mr.
[redacted] to assess the damage. It appears the border is dry stacked with
mortar holding the coping together. I have always had an open ear when a customer
expresses dissatisfaction. This allows me an opportunity to correct the problem
if there is one and satisfy the customer so they remain a customer.I believe my Revdex.com rating reflects this.Sincerely,Scott ** C[redacted]President
