Dear Ms. [redacted],I received your notice of complaint filed with the Revdex.com regarding the fumigation that our companyperformed at the end of January. It is always our intention to make sure that neighbors of our clients are treated just as well as our clients, when it comes to...
understanding the process.I apologize that you did not receive enough information regarding this fumigation. We should have notified you that we intended to take apart your fence during the fumigation process. I have personally reviewed this with my staff and thank you for bringing this to my attention for future services. If there is anything that we can do for you regarding this matter please contact me personally.Again, I do appreciate your feedback and apologize that we did not meet our expectations in providing exceptional customer service.Sincerely,[redacted]Vice-President
Review: The house next door was being fumigated. In order to fumigate the garage, the company needed access to my property. I allowed the crew into my backyard to put up the tent. Unbeknownst to me and without prior notice or my permission, they dismantled part of my fence. My grant of access to my backyard in no way included the right to damage my property. They had no right to dismantle my fence without my express permission. When I called the company to complain, they said that they didn't do anything wrong and it was my neighbor's responsibility to talk to me. I told them that my neighbor didn't have the authority to grant a 3rd party permission to dismantle my property.Desired Settlement: I want them to apologize and admit that what they did was wrong. I would like them to change their procedures so that before they trespass on neighboring property, they seek permission from the homeowner of the neighboring property. Their inspector should spend an extra 5 minutes at the job site and talk to affected neighbors, especially in a zero lot line situation.
