On 1/3/16 my son was driving our [redacted]. He called me and said the right front tire blew out. I took it to tire x and willie said the tire hit a pothole. I had to buy another tire for 108.63. On 1/17/16 I was driving the car and the right rear tire blew out. Once again willie blamed me saying I ran the tire low on air. After leaving his business I stopped at countyline tire and spoke with David Griles, he looked at the tire and called the uniroyal rep to come examine it. Now I did not buy the tires from Mr. GRILES but he did call the uniroyal rep. Tirex did not even offer to do this, doesn't that seem kind of strange? Tires with less than 7000 miles should not just blow out. All tirex wants to do is blame the customer and take more money from them. He could call uniroyal just as Mr.G[redacted] did. Mr.G[redacted] cares about his customers and tirex cares about money.
On 1-3-2016, Mr. [redacted] brought a previously purchased tire and wheel assembly into me at TireX. Mr. [redacted] stated that his daughter hit a pothole. The wheel was badly bent, and the tire was beyond repair. I told Mr. [redacted] that there was no road hazard...
coverage on the tire as Uniroyal Company does not offer this service. Therefore, Mr. [redacted] agreed to purchase a new tire. As a courtesy, I repaired the wheel for him at no charge saving him the expense of having to purchase a new wheel at the cost of $125.00. Mr. [redacted] thanked me several times, paid the bill and left. On 1-18, 2016, Mr. [redacted] came into TireX again with yet another damaged tire (there was no damage to the wheel). On this visit, Mr. [redacted] stated that he was returning home from dinner and heard a flopping sound coming from the right rear tire. I re-emphasized to Mr. [redacted] that there was no road hazard coverage. After examining the tire, I could readily see that the tire had been run low on air and had eventually disintegrated. Mr. [redacted] became very angry, told me that he would no longer do business with me and as he was leaving, told me that he planned to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. Please note AND in my defense, I cannot offer to the consumer a warranty that is not available from the manufacturer. Uniroyal is manufactured by Michelin Tire Corporation and offers no road hazard warranty.

Review: I purchased 4 new uniroyal tires for my [redacted] aug 2015, the tires have less than 7,000 miles on them. On 1/3/16 the right front tire blew out. Willie said I hit a pothole and he would not cover it, so I paid 108.73 for a new one. On 1/18/16 the right rear blew out and once again he said it is my fault. There appears to be a defect from the factory. But he will not even consider this. He should honor manufacturers warranty and stand behind what he sells.Desired Settlement: Would like my money from the 1/4/16 incident and a the tire replaced from the 1/18/16 incident.
