[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have received the paperwork from the mechanic saying that it was authorized at labor rate which is the rate set by gwc and this ammo service dept My car was scheduled to be completed on Friday I get a call saying that my car is done but gwc isn't going to pay the rate that was agreed So I had to come up with the difference myself The owner of ammco Was also told that he was getting the rate which was approved by a representative of gwcAlso after numerous conversations with gwc always talking about the claim and the quote that was sent in at the rate which was approved they never a aid anything about the difference I rate until the end of the wotkRegards, [redacted]

The following is an outlined representation of my experience with GWC Warranty Company, in truth, to the best of my knowledge In writing this review, I am in no way discouraging any reader of this review in his or her business decisions regarding GWC WarrantyI've never had a more negative experience with a warranty company I purchased a 24-month/ 26,mile "powertrain plus" warranty with GWC Warranty in September Since that time, I have tried to submit (through a certified Chevrolet dealership) two claims The mechanic at the dealership stated that he "believed" the warranty should cover the repairs, but the warranty company refused to do so Moreover, I was told that customer service would not return phone calls to the dealership, and as so, I would have to try to get in touch with GWC to discuss covering the repair costs on my own Regarding the second repair, the dealership had my vehicle for approximately 6-weeks I am uncertain as to when the first time they tried to contact GWC to speak to their coverage of the repair was I eventually contacted GWC regarding the second issue myself, and the company refused to pay stating "oil consumption is not covered" I was told by the dealership, the "motor was bad", and I had purchased a powertrain plus warranty, and GWC refused to pay for motor repairs! So apparently, motor issues of my type were not covered under a "powertrain plus" warranty I've had to pay all required repair costs out of pocket, in addition to the $1,extended warranty cost I paid when I purchased the vehicleAs so, I feel the "powertrain plus" extended warranty has been worthless regarding my motor issues Lastly, I was told by a service representative at GWC that they would not refund my money for the remaining miles left on my warranty This is all I want at this point, a simple refund, and them to stop coverage Please due your due diligence before buying an extended warranty On a side note, did you know with today's world of social media, it is possible to reach over million people in a matter of weeks! Once again I understand I can call the for a referral WHERE IN THE CONTRACT DOES IT SAY YOU ONLY PAY $75????? This is contract Law 101, we entered into an agreement that said GWC will pay labor within "accepted industry standards" This is an addendum to the contract for California which states i'm not subject to arbitration which means I can exercise my right to sue in small claims court (which I am filing now) Other than that, there is no provision to say what is the industry standard except a sampling I have shown two locations that are no where close to the $and I will pursue this and have found mechanics that have been in the business for 30+ years that will testify that $IS NOT industry standardIn reality, I called GWC and asked to repair shops; one was miles away in [redacted] , Ca, however, the number was disconnected and they were not in business and the other was miles away in [redacted] , CA IF in fact $was the industry standard, why is there NO shop closer that is at $74? There are 40+ auto repair facilities whiting miles of my zip code of which NONE work at $ So once again, back the the basics of contract law; the contract said they pay whitin "Acceptable industry standards" and I am prepared to litigate and prove that in truth and fact, they breeched the contract and that their are only two facilities both with are outside of miles that will honor the $rate IF in face $was the accepted industry standard, then one of the 40+ facilities within miles would accept that rate and they do not I'm willing to go to court on these facts This is the last opportunity to do the right thing and honor the contract or i'm done and will see you in court in [redacted] *** Have a nice flight [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] ***
