There are Sod companies that are willing to deliver to North IdahoThe closest being *** *** *** in Mead Washington*** *** was not an option to use as this customer had a self proclaimed bad experience with using their sod on a different propertyWe installed Basin Sod, shipped
from the Tri Cities area, and installed it properly on this propertyNeither *** *** or Basin Sod sell "inferior" sod, and are the largest sod farms in our regionBoth are well maintained for growth, health, and weed preventionAs I have explained previously with *** *** *** *** no seed purchased in stores or sod purchased is 100% weed free, that does not existAlthough *** *** *** *** refuse to believe that the weeds that have appeared "months after the sod was installed" was most likely from native topsoil having dormant weed seed in it, weed seed blown in from neighboring land, carried by animals droppings, etcThese are the most realistic ways that weed seed travels and or appears in yards, even with the best prevention methods this happensThe *** property is a new construction home in a housing development, built on what was a field of weedsThe weeds in question have appeared on ground in that development, have been seen on undeveloped dirt, lawns installed with Basin Sod and *** *** sod as well as Hydro seeded lawnsDuring my first visit Mr*** also told me that the dozens of dead patches in the yard were not caused by his female German Sheppard urinating in the yard, but this was absolutely the causeWe were hired to provide and install this sod, and did so correctly with quality sodAt no time did we guarantee a weed free lawn or follow up maintenance service (fertilizing, mowing, weed wacking, applying herbicides, etc.) Unfortunately, now the *** have not only reported Alpine Ridge to the Revdex.com, but also have been actively spreading claims to neighbors that we install weed infested sod, which is absolutely false

I am rejecting this response because:You never made anyattempt to correct the poor quality of the sod you installedThe sod was late arriving and not installed in a timely mannerThe same sod you just installed from basin on the corner across from our house two weeks ago is quality sod with no light green rye grass in itYou are making excuses and your customer service and communication skills as a business owner are unacceptableYour foreman admitted it was not quality sod and offered to replace it if the rye grass was still a problem this yearYou over ruled his offerHe also told me he has returned poor batches of sod to basin sod and they replaced it no chargeIts very clear that profit is far more important to you than quality work

His statement is inaccurate in almost every way. The dog is a husky not a shepherd He's a male not a female The land that was cleared was farm fields not weed fields The problem with the grass is not weeds its ryegrass thats mixed in with bluegrass which spreads quickly causing patches of light green ryegrass throughout the back yard. If its a soil problem then he is responsible because he brought in the fill dirt to level the back yard before he placed the sod. Maybe he can explain where he got this so called weed infested fill dirt. The neighbor he referred to is not happy with their work, they have used sod from both suppliers on the job and they don't even match in color. Cody is making excuses for his poor guality.
