Absolutely impressed by the great work Alves Construction did for us Owner [redacted] and his friendly professional crew transformed my old deck into a beautiful outdoor spaceThis was no easy task as the old deck infrastructure was out of square, the stairs were not straight and some of the joists were bowed They completely rebuilt my stairsSome of these issues they ran into after taking the decking off yet [redacted] stuck to his original quote (which was already very competitive)!! I can't say enough about [redacted] 's honesty and integrity He was at the site almost every day to insure things were done properlyThe crew made sure the work area was cleaned up every day before leavingIt so refreshing to work with a company that is honest and puts the customer first when you hear about so many bad construction companies on the newsIf you want an honest professional construction company for a project I highly recommend Alves Construction

This company does quality work, they are very professional and trustworthy- we would hire them for any job We hired them to correct a job that we had done previously by another contractor- they were understanding with all of our questions, they met every deadline and the finished product is better than we imagined They have great ideas and know how to execute them in a timely manner

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/07) */ I would like to take the opportunity to address the concerns brought up by Mrs***Alves Construction was contracted to paint several rooms in her home and completed the work the 1st week in JanuaryUpon completion the homeowner was fully satisfied with the workAs a standard procedure when painting a room, we remove blinds as to not damage or get paint on themThe blinds are then re-installed after the paint has dried On June we received a text message from Mrs [redacted] stating that one of the blinds in the area we painted in January was installed "backwards"Even though this was months after we worked at the home, we responded and had a crew leader out within daysUpon arrival the crew leader noted that the wand, and the mechanical portion of the vertical blinds in the kitchen were broken and there were several slats removedHe turned the blinds around as originally requested and re-attached the slats that had been detachedHe also noticed that there were paint marks on the blindsI can say with certainty that this was not done by our company as we always remove blinds when wet paint is presentMrs [redacted] requested that we would repair the damaged blinds on site, however it was broken beyond repair My crew leader took pictures and requested that she contact me to discussShe responded days later requesting us to return to attempt to repair the blinds and that she would pay for the parts, but not the laborShe also admitted via text that her in-laws probably broke the blinds and didn't tell herAs previously mentioned, we noted that the mechanical portion of the blind was damaged, so we responded that it was not our responsibility to attempt to repair something at no charge that was broken by a third party I can say with certainty that the blinds were not damaged by the way they were installedThe style of blinds that is in the home (vertical blinds) can be used both waysHowever, we returned months after the work was completed at NO charge to the homeowner in attempt to maintaining a professional relationshipThe homeowner failed to inform us that the blinds she wanted us to turn around were also broken Alves Construction prides ourself in the quality of work and level of professionalism we offerIf a problem arrises we are quick to find a mutually satisfying solution with a homeownerHowever, we will not take the risk and responsibility in attempting to fix something that we did not damage

Vilmar and his team has done multiple projects at my house over the last few monthsHe was over to look at putting up a fence and we began to talk about my deckHe noticed a few things that were unsafe and we began to talk about what I really wanted to do, but could never affordHe worked with me and was able to come up with a plan to remodel my deck instead of replacing the entire thingHis ideas saved me a lot of money and allowed my wife and I to get the deck we wanted long before we thoughtNow our deck is beautiful and we have a fun place to hang out and for our girls to play
Our fence was the next large project Vilmar and his team installedOver the years we talked with a lot of fence companies and every time we were met with extremely high prices and people wanted to sell us more than we wantedAfter one afternoon with Vilmar, he found an option that was exactly what my wife and I wanted and fit within our budgetHis team came out quickly after to install our fenceThey ran into multiple complications since our ground is filled with large rocks and clayIt may have delayed the project, but I couldn't tell because the guys putting in the fence were always very positive and upbeatWe now have a beautiful deck and fence that my family will be able to utilize and enjoy for many years to comeI would recommend Alves Construction to anyone looking for an honest hard working contractorYou will not be disappointed with the outcome

This Company just replaced my old ( dangerous and not up to code ) deck, above my walkout lower levelI got a beautiful replacement with composite flooring, and gorgeous white posts and railings The stairway also matches They also made my staircase 42" wide, with stair runners under the steps My old stairway was just under 36" wide This new deck feels as solid as concrete, and all my neighbors are very impressed with it Not only was it professionally done, the gentlemen that were doing the work were positive and friendly I'm so happy with my new deck and the terrific job that was done, I recommended them to several of my friends and neighbors

Our experience with Alves Construction has been first rate! Vilmar and his team did a spectacular job with our master bathroom Our project was not cosmetic but a complete “gut job!” We spoke to Vilmar at length about what we wanted He walked us through everything we needed to consider before we began as well as throughout the project He also advised us about cost and kept a close eye on our bottom line We moved plumbing, created all new lighting, resized a window, and completely reconfigured our bathroom layout The tile work is beautiful and the finished project was right on budget Communication was a big deal to us and Vilmar consistently kept us in the loop on everythingHe always let us know who was coming and going We highly recommend Alves Construction!

My husband and I recently hired Alves Construction to remodel our master bathroom ***  is a licensed contractor and owner/operator of the business He spent a great deal of time with us discussing the project and advising us on what materials to select He was on site daily to monitor the progress of the project and was in constant communication with us regarding issues as they arose*** and hiss staff are skilled professionals who deliver high quality work for a fair priceBut above that he as well as his crew are men of integrity They are honest, trustworthy and true to their word We felt completely comfortable with them in our home and around our son We are extremely happy with the end result and although remodels can be stressful they made the process enjoyableWe would highly recommend Alves Construction

We just completed a project with Alves Construction We couldn't be more pleased! We replaced carpet and tile with wood floors While the tile was difficult to remove because of the way it had been installed years ago, the crew working for Alves Construction was diligent in getting the job done Our floor is beautiful, and we are so thankful to have worked with Alves Construction We are also pleased to report that Alves Construction has very fair prices and follows through on what they say they will do

On June 20 we received a text message from Mrs. [redacted] stating that one of the blinds in the area we painted in January was installed "backwards".
