I feel I was lied to by office staff when questioned about pricingI called to schedule an appointment and asked the girl on the phone a lot of questions about pricing and how the cleaning worked I asked about charges per square foot since I have large rooms and she told me that there were none unless I wanted special treatments or services like deodorant or scotch guard, things like thatShe told me it was $per room, combined rooms counted as and $for the driverWhen the tech got to my home and set up he asked for over $for a basic clean and over $for a clean plus scrub I was blown awayI told him that was not what I was told and he explained that it is $per room plus a required per square footThat is not what I was told! He told me $would get me hot water and that would make my carpets look worseI contacted the company via e-mail on their website asking a manager to contact me about what had happened, gave them a week, and still no response

I scheduled to have AM2PM Carpet Cleaning to come out and clean my carpetsI clean my carpets about every months or lessThe technician, [redacted] came out and GUARANTEED that he could get the old urine stains out of the carpet, and all the stains for that matterHe initially wanted to charge me nearly $500, which I said no to, and then he said that he can get the carpets just as clean using the wand as opposed to another want that needed to be run while on your hands and kneesHe said that it is really the sameIt looked nice when he was done, but the next day the house had an overwhelming urine scentI called them and they said that they guarantee their work, and they would send a technician outI called them and said no, but then they showed up anywayIt was [redacted] and another guy named ***I had them come in and look at the carpets, and [redacted] had the audacity to tell me that those stains would probably not come out because it had soaked through to the pad! Which is exactly what I told him while he was hereBut he convinced me that "this is new technology" that they were using, "no other carpet cleaning companies hadSo they hook you with this $ad for cleaning each room, which for me would have been $20, but then hook you with all of their guarantees, and the next day, it's back to the sameI tried talking to them, the manager would not return any of my calls and was supposedly "not in the office when I calledI am going to every website possible to file a complaintDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below It was only rooms in a apartmentThere is not rooms- It was over priced and gouged which was wrong by the technicianThere are still stains on the carpet and this is not what I was quoted to pay $4.95/ room Regards, [redacted] ***

We are very sorry that the customer feels she was over chargedThe price is per a room and any soiled areas will require pretreat at sqftWhen the tech arrived at the customers house, he did a spot test and showed the customer the difference that the pre treat can make on the carpetThe tech then wrote up an invoice and showed the customer the total and had him sign it BEFORE any work was doneWe as a company never do any work with out a customers authorization and signatureThe customer was happy with how the demo spot turned out and agreed to pretreat the areas that needed itWhen the tech was done with the cleaning, he had the customer look over the work that was done and have the customer sign off that the work was done to a level of satisfactionThe customer also signed off that the work was completed to his level of satisfactionThe tech did expect payment at the end of service, any company would, especially since the customer was happy with the work completedIf the customer is not happy with how the carpets turned out, we have no problem setting up a day and time and having a tech come back out and redo the area they are not happy withAt this time, we are unable to issue a refund, do to the work being completed with customer authorization

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The issue here is NOT if the work was done to our satisfaction or not as the business claims, the question is why we were charged the extra .20 cents per square foot for almost the entire area they cleaned when I was told that would not be charged originally. When the tech came to the house he told my husband the fee was "recommended and included", so obviously my husband said go ahead. He had no idea what was going on because I'm the one who set up the appointment. Also, I read at least a dozen reviews online about how this company has mislead/lied/charged them with the same exact tactic. When people make a call they're told the .20 cents is charged only if there are soiled areas, then they do the work and at the end charge extra. There are so many complaints about dishonesty/lies and extra charges on this company that I'm shocked they're still in business. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. As my husband explained to the tech at the end when he wanted payment, we didn't have any soiled areas at all, only reason we had it cleaned is because we were moving and when he questioned the tech, he was told the work is already done, too late and he had to pay. We want the $100 refund!!! Regards, [redacted]

We have taken fault if the customer feels that we scratched her baseboards, but it is impossible that our hoses could have taken chunks out of her wood workWe have offered on multiple occasions to come out and paint the scratches and she has refused that offer.nwe did ask them if they had any paint, we needed to know what color we had to get so it would matchWe are still offering to come out and paint the scratched surfaces

I understand that this was not a dry cleaning service providedI ended up sucking up the wet carpet myself with my steam cleanerI did not want to wait for another person to come out to suck the wet mess upI did my own carpet cleaning days laterThe water was dark brown and cleaner than the service you providedYes there was cat urine on the chase lounges but not the carpet The chase lounges took serval days to dry and we couldn't sit on the carpet for days eitherIf you guys spent a little bit more time to actually suck up the wet mess everything would be fineI guess I should have taken a video to prove to you what horrible job you guys are providing to your customers, But I guess it's too late for thatI want a full refund for the horrible service that was provided to me I did a better job cleaning than what was provided for $and I took the time to clean itThank you for your time

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***.
It can be noted that my husband and I are "not educated in construction contracting practices", but we are highly educated in interpersonal communicationA simple response/phone call to the contractor - who's phone calls were not answered - would have saved us weeks of progress on our buildOur contractor had to ask me to call *** ***'s number, to see if he would respond to my call - not knowing exactly who I was or recognizing my phone number, *** *** did exactly that - he called me back immediately After explaining who I was and putting him on the spot, he told me he was not interested, and when I was upset and asked why he would waste our time like this, he just repeated his lack of interest and hung up on me = not good business practice!
Regarding *** *** having "some bad vibes about this project"Our current surveyor completed the work in days, with no "work order" and no concern regarding having to "get it in writing"This shows me that we chose the wrong surveyor the first time and discovered that there are people out there who understand the importance of simple communication.
For me, the resolve in this experience is, yes, if you consider *** ***, DEFINITELY get it in writing! If asked, I will recommend our current surveyor

I called to set up an aptwith AM@PM when receiving a business flyer in the mailIn the ad it stated that air duct cleaning was $each per duct with $14.for the return ventWhen the technician arrived and set up his brush and hoses I asked for a bill to be written up The completed bill was for $for additional services that I had not asked forI declined his services he was most insistent about doing some work before he would leaveHe said he would do the return vent for $and I agreed because I felt intimidated by his demeanorHe took exactly minsto complete the cleaning with running the brush up and down a couple of time and than leavingI called the company number on the flyer because no number was available on the billI expressed my dissatisfaction on the work done and the bill presented to me which should have been around $and no where close to the $*** the manager said he felt the work was done satisfactorily but would be willing to do the job again for $I declined his offer and said the only the thing that would make it right would be to return my money for a minjob not done completelyHe also declined to return my money and told me to call him if I changed my mind
Poor customer service and definitely bait and switch business tacticsI would never recommend this company to anyone looking for dependable service cleaning industry

I met the Customer and her contractor on the day specified to go over what the project would entail I was on site and did take some notes and rough measurements, however, I did not take
any survey equipment out and perform any work To me this was just a meeting about the proposed project I did say that this project could be completed in a couple weeks
After the meeting and after the customer was not around I was told by the contractor that I would be working for the contractor and send him the work order, survey map and invoice At no time did I have the customer contact information I told the contractor that I would have to check with the County Zoning office about this project if it was a go and then would send a work order to his office
After leaving the site, I had some bad vibes about this project I just was not interested
Some time later the contractor called and left message, I returned the call and left a message stating my position The customer called a few days later and I reiterated my position
I feel I did not mislead anyone, I did not have a verbal contract or did I send a work order to the contractor I would also have needed the customer contact information if I took the job
I feel the customer did not have great communication with her contractor He should have made sure we had a contract to perform the survey work
I also feel that the customer is an uninformed layperson not educated in construction contracting practices, thus this complaint
Bottom line, if a contract was in place the work would have been performed, that is what contracts are for and why they say....."get it in writing"

We are very sorry that Heidi did not have a great review to leave. I would like to address a coupledom things here, when carpet is steamed cleaned it will be wet when we are done, this was not a dry clean that does not leave moisture in the carpet. The furniture and carpet did remain wet longer due...

to the fact at there was cat urine present and which required a deeper clean. When a call was made to theto theodicy with a complaint, assistance was offered to the customer, we offered to come back out and redo where she was unhappy with. The price that was offered in he beginning included different options such a scotch grad, sanitizer etc. it is up to the customer which services they would like, we work with all our customers and their needs.
Is is there a problem with the quality of the service? We would love the opportunity to come back out and redo the areas that were cleaned at you are not happy with.
thanks

AM2PM has a 100% workmanship guarantee, but that is not a money back guarantee. As a business if a customer is unhappy we do have the right to do what it takes to make it right, and we will honor that in every situation. We have not been given the proper chance to make this right. We can not give money back, but we would be more than happy to offer a 25% discount on any future service.
Thanks

We are sorry if the customer feels that they did not get the agreed upon price. When she scheduled her carpet cleaning she said she was only looking to get 2 rooms cleaned for the 65.00. When the tech arrived at the property and the male that was there added on 2 more rooms of carpet and was also...

interested in getting the carpets sanitized. Since more was added on than just the 2 rooms the price obviously would go up. We can not offer money back, but we would love to offer 25% off any future service. I have attached a copy of the invoice that shows everything that was done.
Thanks

Am2pm has a 100% workmanship guarantee, if the customer is not happy with the quality of the work we would love to come back out to make it right for them! When would be a convenient time for us to come back out and redo the area that they are unhappy with?
We avoid giving exact prices over the phone due to every customers situation is different.  On the invoice it appears that it was 2 bedrooms and a living room and dining room, a combo living room/dining room is considered two rooms, technically a hall way is also considered a room which was not charged for. The customer also chose to receive sanitizer for the carpet. Our ad and phone conversations do state that it is not just 4.95 a room, it states that it is 4.95 a room and any soiled areas will require pretreat at .20 a sqft. The tech also did a spot test before any work was done to show the difference in the cleaning that pretreat can achieve. The customers was happy with those results when shown! Due to the work being approved and done already I can not give a refund, but we would love to offer a 25% discount on any future service.
Thank you

paint, we needed to know what color we had to get so it would match. We are still offering to come out and paint the scratched surfaces.

Was mislead by technician regarding service requirement. Ad states "ANY soiled area will require pre-conditioning" Technician stated ALL areas REQUIRE pre-conditioning thus increasing cost by 160%.
When I called to complain and ask for clarification or adjustment I was told that nothing could be done.
