I am rejecting this response because:
To: Revdex.com- Mrs***,The areas of concern that I have regarding the response from *** *** is the comparison she stated in which I requested money back from them as if I went shopping at a department store I do not return things frequently and I do not have the time or energy to shop and return clothing on a regular basis As far as my teeth are concerned, yes, I saved money for this procedure and I counted it as an investment but unfortunately it has turned out to be nothing but an inconvenience The statement that *** wrote in regards that this is a "husband and wife dispute" was inappropriate My husband trusted this business enough to continue receiving services from them for me after he had received his services It is unfortunate that *** *** is saying that we wanted our money back because we did not ask for any money to be returned We are aware that oral care takes time and money and this is why we had saved for proper dental work All we asked from *** ***'s office was to provide services and care for my mouth and provide a solution to the discomfort that I am experiencing as it is extremely uncomfortable for me to wear even after I kept them in water as instructed I could not wear them as instructed because they were creating blisters and sores and I was in pain and cautious enough to stand clear of any unnecessary mouth infections Because of the discomfort, I was unable to eat as needed I read over *** ***'s documents The portion that had my follvisits in her office with detailed statements of why I visited her office and complained, were not imparted with my signature. Thank you,*** ***

To whom it may concern:In response to your letter regarding complaint filed by patient [redacted]. This patient was given a complete treatment plan on her first visit with us. This treatment plan included 3 options for the lower left area. She chose to go with the least expensive option...

which was a removable lower partial denture. One of the options was a referral to an oral surgeon for implants and then return to our office for crowns. This was going to be costly for the patient, so she chose to go with the removable partial. After completion of the partial, patient came in approximately 2 weeks later stating she did not want it. She claimed she was not aware that it was removable and wanted to return it like you would clothing purchased from a store because she didn't like it. We explained to her that this was a custom appliance made for her that took a lot of time and effort to make. We explained that it would take time to adjust to wearing a new denture. We offered to see her and make adjustments to the partial denture as many times as necessary until it was comfortable. After first receiving the partial denture, she was not wearing it everyday, nor was she keeping it in water as instructed. She came in once or twice after that for adjustments of the partial. She was told on her first visit that this tooth needed to come out. She is reminded of this each time she comes in for adjustments, but she is not interested in having it taken out at this time. There are 4 steps from impression to fabrication of a partial denture. Each step requires the patient to come in and OK the progress. On the 3rd step, the partial is make of wax and the patient was able to try it in and make sure she liked the look and feel before it was finished. She had 4 opportunities to say she did not want to proceed with the partial before it was fabricated, but she said and signed that she was happy at each visit. In your letter she claims she wants it fixed, but when Mrs. [redacted] is in our office she states she just wants her money back. There is nothing wrong with the partial denture, she just refuses to use it. We feel this is a financial dispute between husband and wife, as husband is upset that he paid for the partial and wife does not want to wear it. We have worked on other family members an they are happy with the treatment we have provided. We are not telling Mrs. [redacted] to go elsewhere because we do not want to see her as a patient, we are referring her to a specialist to consult about alternative treatment that we do not do here. This was also explained as an option to the patient in the beginning. She claims that we just want to pull more teeth which is untrue. The teeth that need to come out were diagnosed on her first visit to our office. It is not something additional that was added on later, it was put on hold because patient wanted to focus on more urgent treatment. Attached you will find patients initial treatment plan that includes the removal of teeth and options. This is initialed by the patient stating that is was explained and understood. You will also find documentation that she signed to go ahead with fabrication of the partial and she was happy upon delivery.Sincerely, [redacted] C. [redacted], D.D.S.
