They welded one part of that exhaust not the other half which fell off days afterI was there a couple times due to I didn't know which truck I wanted and changed my mind and was waiting for the loan to get acceptedThe mechanics said this was a ok going problem with the truckThe exhaust broke power steering the plow and now the injectors I just keep putting money into this truck and they won't helpWhen I picked up the truck after they "fixed" the exhaust he wasn't even there, no one was there so there was no way I said it was perfectI called them and told them it broke again not it was perfect Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I had two mechanics, with over years of experience between them, tell me that the truck was sold without properly working rear breaks (bad caliper on the right rear) Additionally, if the truck had breaks that were at the legal limit when leaving the dealer, there is no way to wear down all of the brakes on the working wheels to the level they were when I brought the truck to my mechanis days later To further demonstrate the dealers lack of professionalism, about a week after visiting the dealer to explain the brake issue, the truck just shut off while traveling on the highway Since I was only about miles from the dealer, I had the truck towed there I fully intended to pay for whatever caused the truck to die while driving as it was not at all related to the brake issue Upon arriving at Atlantic Motors, one of the managers/owners came out of the ofice and told the tow truck driver and myself to not unload the truck and to get off of his property That action clearly showed me that they want nothing to do with the stuff they sell once it leaves their lot His exact reason, as stated to me, for not allowing the tow truck to leave my truck was because I did the wrong thing by reporting my experience regarding the brakes to the Revdex.com If they were truly a reputable dealership and owned up to the fact that they did not check the brakes as stated on the checklist they handed me, I wouldn't have had a reason to contact the Revdex.com Sincerely, [redacted] ***

If the breaks were so "BAD" why didn't you say anything about it when you and your son test drove it twice and the responds I got both times from both is we love it and can we pick it up tomorrowIf the breaks were bad I would never have left my customer to go on a test driveOnce you towed it to the shop I was surprised and came back to you and said leave the truck here and I will fix it and you had an attitude saying oh no its ok ill bring it to my own mechanicI am not sure how your son is driving and beating on the truck but that should not be my problem with a truck that was sold as is I am just very shocked how you want to complain about the problems when you said you loved the truckThank you Bob

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Although it was a "As Is" sale, it was based on the verbal agreement of repairs of the larger items that needed immediate repairs at no expense to me and that it passed their inspection as being safe for the road even though I was not given a copy but I can assure you that I will have proof of fraudulent reporting as I have documentation from another garage who thoroughly went through the truck with no knowledge of why they were being asked to do it as reporting that the vehicle mentioned is not safe and several items Atlantic Motors reported as passing inspection indeed do notI will be taking it to court to prove it and that is how confident I am in their misguided and fraudulent behavior Sincerely, [redacted]

A few months ago I purchased a supercharged [redacted] from Atlantic Motors LLC on a no reserve auction via [redacted] I drove nearly 2,miles round trip to pick up the [redacted] on a car carrier and bring it homeI test drove the [redacted] before purchasing it and I noticed that it generally seemed to lack power despite being superchargedI also noticed that there was a small coolant leak coming from the front of the engineNevertheless, I felt somewhat committed to the deal because I spent $1,on transportation costs and a $deposit to pick up the ***After purchasing the ***, the gentleman that was doing the paperwork with me, informed me that I would not be able to take the title home with me; the title was at another storage locationNow feeling completely obligated to follow through with the deal, I hesitantly agreed to have the title mailed to meThe good news is that the title did come in the mail a week later and it was clean and clearThe bad news is that the catalytic converter was completely clogged and it caused the engine to overheat the first time I drove it more than milesAdditionally, there was severe damage to the rear drive shaft, causing the dash to violently rattle and shake above mphThe new catalytic converter was a $1,expense on top of the towing bill and the new drive shaft was $I personally believe that Atlantic Motors LLC sold me a [redacted] with a known issues in order to maximize their profit by not repairing or disclosing issuesI do not seek any monetary reimbursement as there is no way I can prove that they knew about the issues, nor do I believe that they would ever admit to such an accusation

Hello there, [redacted] put a deposit on a [redacted] ***After we posted over pictures of the truck inside out he won the auction and placed a $non-refundable depositHe did ask me for additional pictures of the truck because I guess wasn't enough which I did send to himHe then asked me for all the paperwork so he can get a loan for it which I sent it to himHe then sends an inspector after he won the truck which he was supposed to do it before the auction is over- I said fine send your guy overThe truck is pretty much like new and [redacted] for some reason changed his mind on the truckInstead of him being nice to me about it and ask for the $back he started threatening me saying he will hire a lawyer and send his motorcycle friends over to my shop to take care of me- in other words he was threatening me and he was thinking by doing so I will be nice to him? I don't think soI sent him the purchased order which he signed knowing that the deposit is non-refundableNot only that but he did not even buy the truck and he's already giving me hard timeI am glad he never proceeded with the sale because this customer will never be happy about anythingAnd next time you want something don't try and threaten me because that will bring you nowhere

I highly disagree with his story, he brought the truck to me and I told him I would weld the exaust on and he said that is perfect and that is all he wanted done, he has looked at the truck times before purchasing and also has passed emissions and inspection, im sure if you beat on your trucks or car I am petty sure things will get messed up mechanicallyHe is requesting this after months that it needs injectors which I highly doubt

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Your inspection, which we did not receive, does not say anything about being locked in 4xlowWhen I talked to your manager he said he would pay for the motor on the side of the transfer case and I told him that was not the only thing wrongThat, In fact, we would have our mechanics look at it and fix the things that were misrepresented, and mail you the estimate The truck would not even runFuel pump had to be towed into the shopSincerely, [redacted]

This customer bought a truck from us a [redacted] F-via ***.com On our terms of sale it clearly states that we do not finance and that you must have the funds available in order to bid/buy the truckAnyways they bought the truck then they asked us to finance themThey put $down and we told them we will try and see if we can find a bank that will finance their truck even though we do not do the financing, the bank responded to us that they cannot finance their truck due to its age and the truck was too old to get financedWe then returned their $back and told them that the bank won't finance them and that they'll need to try another bank or come up with another solutionsThese customers were the worst people i've ever dealt with since I been in business for yearsVery rude, very demanding, unprofessional customer that nobody should ever deal with, I tried and did everything for them but these are those type of customers that no matter what you do for them they will never be happyI returned their deposit of $back and I am done with them, I don't know what else they want from us? Tracy if you have any questions call me directly

I disagree with his complaint, the guy that wrote this complaint is not even the customer that is his friend that I spoke to and I did tell him I will take it back but will have to give him trade in offer and sell him another truck but the truck when it left my lot it has been a nice truck runs beautiful, yes there was rust on the frame which was mentioned and I also gave the customer back some money and was happy ~ I was very surprised when I got a phone call from his friend saying that the truck had issues and that he called me - months later to address the issuesSomething does not sound right here - I think his friend is just trying to get money out of meSome people no matter what you do they will still try to get more out of youI forgot to mention also this Truck he bought from me at an auction

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The back brake was so rusted, it could have caught fire you told us the brakes were inspected and fine which was a complete lie you sold the truck without a catalytic converter which is illegal we paid 17,for a truck that will cost us now more than 10,to fix Yes when people buy used cars I expect to put money to maintain but this is beyond acceptable Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Buying a used truck with over 100,miles and months later you're having brake issues? Of course it's a ton truck that you put it to work it might need brakes or whatever after that long period of time anything you buy used will require something eventually

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: At the time of the purchase I had my mother and uncle with me Bob tried to charge more then what his brother agreed to when he talked with my uncle he even went as far as to change the price online and pull it up to showMy uncle informed him of the price he was giving and Bob then went with the price of 3,he even went as far as to giving me 20$ to get the truck cleanBob did not state that the vehicle had any issues or would have any issuesBob informed me that it needed a oil change Bob gave my uncle and myself his business card and stated if I had any problems to give him a callThe car was purchased on Friday January 1st while driving home the Engine light came on and went back off, then on Sunday, January the engine light came on and stayed onTuesday when I went to get the oil change and run it through it mission it didn't pass and I then Found out exactly what was wrong with it I had to then pay to get a diagnostic test done once that was done I receive the price of how much it will cost to get all the work done that is needed A few days later on January I received a text message from Bob around nine something at night asking if I ran the truck with missions yet I then informed that I did run the truck through admissions and it failed I told Bob it needs 2,thousand dollars worth of work done to it Bob words were "What does it need that's impossible" he then said he would give me a call the next dayAt no time did Bob tell me not to call or text his at no time did Bob tell me not to call or text his cell phone Since that text I have not heard from Bob or been able to get in touch with him For someone to say they told me the truck would have issue why would they check in and say it's impossible for it to have the issues that it have Bob was untruthful with the sale and sold me a voice dream of the truck passing admission I have four small kids I cannot afford $to get out truck fixed that I paid for not only weeks ago I need to get back-and-forth to work and this is the only means of transportation that I have My temporary plate runs out on the 31st and there's no way I will be able to get it registered without having this work done for it to pass admissions All I'm looking for is to have the work done on the truck so that way I can continue to get to work so I can provide for my kids Sincerely [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There response is all lies. My father had to have the Waterbury police come with him to the dealership to get my personal papers and deposit, after they denied him when he went to the dealership alone first. So many other complaints on there site are similar to mine and the police stated they're very unaware of there shady business ethics. They're a joke of a business. I'm the lucky one. I got out before they completely screwed me over. Hopefully they will not be allowed to do this to anyone else. Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The situation should never have happened in the first place 1) If I am correct, a business is not allowed to have someone under aged (17y/o) sign a contract to start with 2) It is quite unethical to collect cash from a kid and then provide a receipt for 1000.3) The car was advertised as excellent condition and then when my son drove hours to look at it he was lied about the ABS light, new brakes and much more I believe it is called the "bait and switch" when you advertise something one way and not have that excellent condition car available4) It took me phone calls and several emails to get someone to listen to me I was hung up on.5) I was told "Bob" was to be fired for these acts but I see he continues to sell cars.6) I believe the IRS and Insurance Board might have an issue with companies who provide a receipt for less than what was actually paid for with the statement "you will pay less in taxes and insurance that way"I have plenty more if you would like me to keep going I also have all the documents to back up everything that I am stating Sincerely, [redacted]

This is a statement, I respect he came down and talk to me in personI asked what is wrong with the truck and he stated that he brought it to another mechanic to fix it and all and a month later comes down and tells me I owe him bucks for breaks. I think it is common sense he is
just trying to get money out of meIf you see a problem the first thing anyone would do is call the dealer they bought it from and ask if they can help them out which I would happily would of replaced the breaks for himSo then a month later comes down and tells me thatI do not let any trucks leave the lot with bad breaks I am not sure if his son did burn outs or donuts with it due to it was a very fast truckSo all goes all this statement he put it is a statement and just want to make us look bad for not giving him any money back for the mistake he has done
Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:
Their response is a complete liepictures would have been great if the truck they tried to send me home with was actually the truck in the picturesI did not drive miles round trip to not come home with a truckThe truck they attempted to give me was the wrong color, wrong size truck bed, completely rusted out on the rocker panels, unlike the truck in the pictures.
They promised to give me back my deposit when I refused the bait and switch vehicleThey have since shut down their *** account because I refused to be blackmailed into providing them positive feedbackOnce I complained they offered to give me my deposit back only if I provided positive feedbackI refused and now they have already made up two different stories full of lies to try to cover it upUnethical businesses such as this need to be held accountable for their actions by not being allowed to continue operationsI wonder how many customers actually fell to the positive feedback for returned deposit tactic
Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: You must think we are stupid
The truck was locked into 4xlowThe motor was shotIt was replacedOnce it was replaced it workedLook at the invoiceThe truck would not runAre you saying that we dont know how to start a gas engineWe do aboult 6,used truck a yearThis truck was a total mechanical messOur truck shop is a professional shopI want to quote you what your ad says: "The truck features the 5.4L vimotor.Engine is super healthyWe had the truck inside our shop and replaced both exhaust manifoldsA A$job which is done and something you don't have to worry about for a long timeThe automatic transmission shifts perfectThe 4xengages in and out as it shouldAll tires like new.The interior is fully loaded and almost in perfect shapeand the last line Fly down and drive this beautiful truck back home with no worries." Its one thing to sell a truck with surface rust, selling one where the frame is completely rusted thru in several places, is another.
The no worry part was corrected after spending another $I can't believe you can sleep at night selling merchandise that is this badAnd your rating on *** *** proves my point.

I am rejecting this response because:I never authorized or requested new tires be placed on my vehicle and specifically told Tim on Tuesday 8/23/at
11:am that the tires were to be taken off as I never requested new tires be put on my truckAs well as the conversation with Bob on Friday 8/26/at 9:am that I was going to be picking up my truck on Saturday and the tires were to be removed since I never authorized or requested them. Secondly, I honestly do not trust the integrity of this dealership to do anything to my truck as they were very rude and unprofessional and I am afraid of retaliation and them damaging my vehicleNot to mention it has been over a week and old tires are thrown away as soon as they are removed so what tires do they propose they are going to place on my vehicle, certainly not the original onesLastly, the owner Bob, proceeded to use vulgarity and threw us out of his dealership and I do not feel safe in any way either going to that dealership or even leaving my vehicle in their hands.
Sincerely,
*** ***

That's a statement, bring the truck back so we can take the new tires and put the old ones back if you're not happy
