Avenue Living

I sure wish someone would have warned me. Just how "HORRENDOUS" the building: MAYFAIR MANOR in MEDICINE HAT was; before moving in. And, also, how "TERRIBLE" all staff & Avenue Living is. Have rented many places for 30 year's. A few were through Affordable Housing communities. As am low income due to being permanently physically disabled. Which were very bad. Also, had atrocious landlords too, via private renting such as: Condo's, Townhomes, Apartments etc. But "BY FAR", this has been the absolute "WORST"! From being almost murdered, attacked, stalked, given death threats, attempted break ins, my mailbox broken into. By the massive Criminal Element of Tenant's residing there. Which include: Convicts, Ex-cons, Rapists, Drug Dealer's, Prostitutes etc.
Seeing/dealing with the "MAJOR" bug infestation: Bed bugs, Cockroaches, Ants, Spiders, Maple Bugs & Flies, to full blown Mold, heat not working properly in minus 40 degree below zero weather, tainted water, a shower that only gives you either scalding water or freezing water, an entire pane of glass completely missing in my bedroom(never given/replaced), a bedroom window screen with huge rips in it, patio doors that don't close properly, being given the wrong key for the building, a move in inspection where everything was absolutely filthy, all the hallways and worse the main floor which is extremely dirty always, 2 elevators that rarely work which is a MAJOR problem, when you're permanently physically disabled like me & cannot do stairs, laundry machines majorly expensive not working most of the time, over priced rent for what you're getting as in NO ensuite dishwasher nor washer/dryer,
24/7 EXTREMELY loud noise from other residents. Whom only become worse even after Police are called,
maintenance staff plus Resident Manager are the WORST! They couldn't care less about Resident's. Mistreating Disabled & Seniors the most. Refusing to do anything to help or remedy the situation. Which is their job.

I ended up in the hospital. Due to my health being adversely affected by living there. And almost dying. Suffering a heart attack, stab wounds, bug bites, chest/lung damage etc. There's a long history of actual murders in MAYFAIR MANOR. All the residents of Medicine Hat. Know the extremely BAD reputation of this building. Including the Police, whom are called here VERY often.
