I am attempting to email a response to the above noted open ID case regarding [redacted] ***’s request for a full refund of $76.? I spoke with Ms [redacted] today and advised her that a check for $will be mailed shortly.? Thank you.? Howard C***, CHA

We are sorry for this guest's experienceHere are a couple of facts relating to the incident 1) Guest never mentioned anything about this until checking out after a 2-night stay 2) I did see a large bump on guest's arm3) There is no way to know what caused the bite(s), and the fact that the guest claims that we have "bed bugs" is disturbing.4) There was a pet in the guest room5) When our housekeeping manager and chief engineer inspected the room they found no evidence of bed bug activity6) Guest stated that the $gift card she used was received because of a complaint/dispute she had with an airline As an act of good faith I will refund all monies for the stay, but can not provide anything beyond that for stays at other Best WesternsTechnically, there is no way for us to reload funds to the gift card, so the full amount will be credited to the credit card on file

I have refunded the amount on [redacted] for second night stay, when this... reservation was done it was only for 2 people, when they were checking in we saw 6 people so we made them upgrade the room which they did not liked, we made them pay $66 difference for their 2 night stay, next morning when we were doing pest control on third floor guest complained about smoke in third floor hallway, of course with up to date smoke alarm that went off we asked guest to just give 5 minutes in which the entire hallway was cleared, a [redacted] department police officer was also on site and he could not find anything. I have also refunded them with $66 with no upgrade charge for the suits, they also tried and complain to best western corporate which was satisfied with the outcome as well, we do not anticipate any further action in this regard, there was no danger of any sort to anyone with this. it was a routine pest control measure and does not in any way harm any guest or employees. thanks [redacted] Genereal Manager Best Western [redacted]

I would like a total refund of my money and to be reimbursed the amount we had to pay at a different hotel which was at The quality Inn in*** scI have documents if you need thosethoseThank you

Officer*** arrived at the hotel and followed myself and my brother up to the room to gather our thingsHe confirmed that he could still smell the pest bombOfficer*** will not return to work until tomorrow at 6:am! I will get a statement from him and send it to youI had to take my children and myself to the doctor todayThe physician said that unfortunately there is no way to test for pest chemicalsIf in fact that the chemicals were harmless than why did management REFUSE to show me what he usedI am now getting DHEC involved

it is very unfortunate, that the guest had a experience that was not satisfactory, but our business runs on integrity we have 96% occupancy during those period , and not one customer has this experiencewe had refunded their upgrade charges and refunded the night that they did not staythey booked the room with adults and when they checked in they had adults and childrenthey were unhappy when we asked them to bigger room as people in double room Is not permitted by law

I would like a full refund of the cost to the hotel room. I'm still having bites so I have to have Terminex come out to my apartment to check to see if I brought anything home with me. This is costing me more than I anticipated.
Of course I expect a hotel to deny they have a problem and of course they will have their staff to check which NOT sufficient. They need to have a city health inspector to come out to inspect that hotel.
 
I will be posting this on Trip Advisor as well.
