Good morning
[redacted] came into my store on 9/*/14 to repair a one shoe of a pair. I inspected the shoe and then went on to explain how I could repair the shoe. [redacted] was okay with what I had explained to her...

and gave me the okay to complete the repair. [redacted] then came back on the same day of drop off to pick up her shoe. The cost of the repair was $8.00 dollars. Tuesday 9/*/14 [redacted] came back into my store after saying she called various times and was hung up on then ignored with a complaint about her shoe, which was false. She then explained to me that their was excessive adhesive glue in the surrounding area were the repair was made, [redacted] then said to me she wanted to be paid for the purchase price of her pair of shoes which were already used and worn. I tried to communicate with [redacted] and told her to let me see the shoe and that I could remove the excessive glue but [redacted] insisted that she did not want me to touch or reattempt to repair her shoe and that she wanted to be paid in full for the purchase price of her shoe. Now [redacted] needs to understand as a customer she came into my store to repair one shoe of a pair that were already used and worn. Now the repair for one of the shoe not the pair cost 8 dollars. If she was unhappy with the service, I would of gladly returned the 8 dollars to [redacted] but she insisted that she wanted to be paid in full for the purchase price for her worn and used shoes. In conclusion I do not think I should be responsible to pay [redacted] for the purchase cost of her pair of shoes, but what I will do is return the cost of the repair which was $8.00 dollars and remove the excessive glue that she originally complained about.

The story you have told is false and you do not even have the dates correctly nor were you the person I dealt with, as you were not physically in the building.  I asked for your name repeatedly which was I denied repeatedly and I was also hung up on 5 times by your employee, which I have witnesses and phone records to confirm this.  The adhesive that you state should be removed was in fact already removed causing the damage and discoloration to the metal portion of the shoe. I pre-paid when I dropped them off, which is your policy. In addition, the shoes were only worn 5 times and had been brought in because a stitch of thread broke and your adhesive ruined the entire left shoe. I asked you at the very least to repay the $8 and you refused and told me to come back again a third time showing you the same ruined shoe. You ruined a shoe that never had a defect and you and your employee displayed horrible customer service.  I should be payed for the shoe and the "repair" because they are rendered unwearable because they do not match. The cost of the shoe is $44.25 and I showed you the receipt and they were purchased in July. How worn could they be? I expect a full refund.

Review: This establishment said they could fix a shoe of mine that he said needed to be glued. I went to retrieve the shoes and they are ruined. There is glue everywhere and the metal is now discolored. It looks as if they tried to match the color after they stripped it but failed miserably. I called to ask to speak to a [redacted] and I was hung up on. I tried calling several times and now no one picks up the phone even though it is business hours. In addition I paid before the repairs were made as per his policy.Desired Settlement: the price of the ruined shoes : $44.25 plus tax (i have receipt)charge for faulty repair: $8
