[redacted] brought in mower for repair on drive system the cable was broken we repaired it under waranteein order for us to test drive system after repair was to remove debris stuck in wheel we were not going to give mower back with out being tested properly we feel that we were more than fair at the price we charged if [redacted] new about bag stuck in wheel she should have removed before hand we could not test properly with plastic stuck in wheel

Mr [redacted] purchased a Dodge Dakota at our auction on August 8, At that time we were unaware that he would not be able to fast track the title as they took that option out with the new MNLARS system We will reimburse Mr [redacted] this week for that charge The transfer fees are a different story I have attached an explanation from the DVS website with regards to sales tax on vehicles According to their website, any vehicle years old or newer or any vehicle sold for 3,or more are required to pay 6.5% sales tax I believe the State, in their conversion to the new MNLARS system, made a mistake and will most likely discover that mistake at some point Given the major issues we've all heard about with this new system this is probably the cause of the difference in tax paid If Mr [redacted] would like his back for sales tax we would like him to agree that if the State discovers their mistake and cannot/will not finish the transfer that he is responsible to pay any extra monies Please let us know what he decides If he would like his money back and agrees to pay any extra sales tax due I can mail a check for the plus for the sales tax this week

Mr *** purchased a Dodge Dakota at our auction on August 8, 2017. At that time we were unaware that he would not be able to fast track the title as they took that option out with the new MNLARS system. We will reimburse Mr*** this week for that charge. The transfer fees are a different story. I have attached an explanation from the DVS website with regards to sales tax on vehicles. According to their website, any vehicle years old or newer or any vehicle sold for 3,or more are required to pay 6.5% sales tax. I believe the State, in their conversion to the new MNLARS system, made a mistake and will most likely discover that mistake at some point. Given the major issues we've all heard about with this new system this is probably the cause of the difference in tax paid. If Mr*** would like his back for sales tax we would like him to agree that if the State discovers their mistake and cannot/will not finish the transfer that he is responsible to pay any extra monies Please let us know what he decides. If he would like his money back and agrees to pay any extra sales tax due I can mail a check for the plus for the sales tax this week

I am rejecting this response because: We noticed the bag as we were loading the mower into the carEven a child could remove the bag in a matter minutes; it is not a $projectWe were given zero notification of any additional charge or "test" and as the bag was on the front wheel it did not affect the automatic propulsionA simple call to say "did you know you had a bag stuck" would have solved all issuesAs such, instead work was done that we did not approve and were charged for without prior notificationWe took the mower in for a warranty issueAt pick up we were notified of the "other issue." At which point they said we could charge you $to tell you about the bag on your wheel or take it off for $This just sounds ridiculous either way
