I have to say, we were very disappointedWe checked in, went to our room, and it was very hot, clearly the air was not workingIt was nearly degrees outsideMy husband then went to the front desk and was told that this is the first hot day, and they just turned on the air and realized only two of the four units are working and offered us a fanLiving in WA, we know it's not the first of the hot dayI wondered why they have so many fans on hand with this being "the first day the air was turned on" and supposedly not knowing the air didn't workAfter this, I took a look at the reviews.....and to no surprise there are several reviews regarding the air, and it has been broken for monthsThis should have been mentioned to us upon check-inNo discount or release from the reservation was offered, but simply a fan to blow around the degree heatThe carpeting and furniture in the common areas are filthyThen there's the cleaning women who push carts around with radios or something, blaring music right around lunchtimeSo if you or your child is napping, it wont’ last longUpon check-out my husband mentioned the air, and was given a different story by a different employee He was informed they’ve known, but that the air works in some rooms and not in others She also said they couldn’t give him a discount because they’d already given him a military discount (it’s Memorial Day weekend by the way), as if his military discount was in any way related to us being so uncomfortable, we had to wet towels to cool ourselves to sleep at night And in looking at a review for this same weekend, we really didn't get a discount at all They paid by far less than us for the very same room and number of people This place is just shameful We all know the old saying “you get what you pay for”…in the case, we didn’t even get that I don't know if this hotel had recent turnover in ownership/management within the last couple of years or what, but something has certainly happened to turn it in to what is today, a one star hotel
