Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I got the flat tire on August 27th and went to Discount Tire on the 28thI received the tire on September 8th, which is full business days, if you don't include Labor DayEven the representatives at Discount Tire said it usually takes a week to a week and a half to receive tires from the Easy CoastThis was told to me after I was already lied to about it arriving on FridayNone the less, there's a lot of lying going on from Discount TireDid they lie saying it usually takes a week or longer or did they lie about when they ordered it? It It indeed was business days, then they didn't even place the order until days after I brought it there, still wasting a lot of my timeDiscount Tire needs to get their story straight, because I have all of the dates documented, and they all changed their stories Regards, [redacted]

Discount Tire covered the expense of repairing the damaged hub from the tire installationDiscount Tire is not liable/responsible for additional or new damage created by another companyThis complaint should be directed to [redacted] and removed from our records

Customer's tire was delivered to the store in business daysThe same impact that damaged the tire also damaged the wheelThe customer's tire is being covered by our certificate program but the customer is responsible for the wheel costCustomer has the option whether or not they would like to put the certificate on the new tire

Customer returned to store on 9/and we were able to swap out the tire and issued customer a creditCustomer is satisfied with resolution

Customer provided an estimate that was mutually agreed upon by DT and the customerDT paid the amount of the estimate provided by the customer and considers the matter resolvedAnything above the agreed upon amount is the customer's responsibility

The response from Discount Tire is disappointingThey were the source of the problems that occurredWe were give no option except [redacted] to have the repair doneWe feel Discount Tire should accept at least some responsibility in this matterThank you [redacted]

Customer's tire was warrantied out and given a $creditCustomer paid $for the new tire (valued at $125)Customer also purchased warranties for $total which we will refund if customer would like

Customer had a non-repairable flat tireThe customer had a prorated road hazard warranty and received a $credit towards a $tire, so the customer paid $for the tire plus a $balance just as he should haveThe customer did decide to purchase of our certificates for replacement which was an additional $per tireBecause the tire was a warranted item, it was not returned to the customer

I object to the statement that *** *** agreed to a price for repair and I have attached the statement from the manager concerning the dialogue with the adjuster. DT may consider the matter closed but being strong armed to accept a less than full price of the repair prior to the ability to complete my inquiry is not customer friendly. Hopefully someone reading my complaint will reconsider doing their business here

We have forwarded the customer's information and concerns to our Claims department and they are working with the customer

We are contacting the customer and offering to refund the labor charge for installation
