Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Brookside ignores that I dispute that I owe the debt The lease includes a redecoration expense of $and did did not disclose that Brookside would charge for de minimis items such as $for less than a bag of trash (consisting of unused consumer items) Several of the billed items should be removed because they are reasonably included as part of general redecoration expense which Brookside already collectedBrookside summarily claims that amount is owed, but refuses to provide adequate verification related to the access card or shower rod, or why it did not notify guarantor of claimed charges before turning matter over to collection agency Sincerely, [redacted]

It looks like *** paid for her redecoration fee for her first lease termShe was required to pay a second redecoration fee for the new unit she moved toWe did not receive that payment for her 14-lease termWe were not given instructions to pull the amount out of her accountWe require permission before taking any and all fees out of someones account

According to the 2014-2015 lease the $250 redecoration fee was never paid and still owed to us. In her complaint she states she paid by check. If she is able to send us a copy of the check showing payment we can remove the charge.

response because:  Brookside ignores that I dispute that I owe the debt.  1. The lease includes a redecoration expense of $250.00 and did did not disclose that Brookside would charge for de minimis items such as $31.00 for less than a bag of trash (consisting of unused consumer items).  Several of the billed items should be removed because they are reasonably included as part of general redecoration expense which Brookside already collected.2. Brookside summarily claims that amount is owed, but refuses to provide adequate verification related to the access card or shower rod, or why it did not notify guarantor of claimed charges before turning matter over to collection agency.
