BBB spoke with Ms. [redacted] the customer's price was quoted over the phone and work would not have been done without authorization. When the customer asked for another copy of the bill she did not have an issue at the time. The business was not aware of any concerns with the price until the complaint was processed. They would have been happy to explain any issue she might have had with the breakdown of the bill.

12.8000001907349px">This is a statement from Browder's Towing & Service Center, Incregarding case number#***. The customer did come suspecting a transmission leak and we informed her that the transmission was bent and the oil pan was cracked because she had ran the car up on something. When we quoted her a price for a new transmission pan and oil pan and the labor, she did not want to pay the price and asked if there was anything we could do for her without incurring those fees. We told her we could unbend the pan and put transmission fluid in and she was fine with the price of $because she said it was a lot better than paying for new pans. We test drove and there were no leaks. The following week, she came by and asked for another printout of the bill because she could not read it. She did not inform us that there was any issues with her car at that time, only that she needed another copy of her bill. This is our first time hearing of an issue, however, we did what she instructed us to do and the fluid was being held properly in the panPlease send any questions or concerns to us at *** or call us at ***
