Review: My usual mechanic (Sullivan's service-awesome by the way) sent my 2004 trailblazer to bud's because he was unable to repair the transmission himself. They "repaired my transmission" for over a thousand dollars and within 200 miles the transmission was bad again(with the same exact problem, will not shift into third gear). They refuse to acknowledge they did the repairs, because apparently they don't even get the customers info, they only put "Sullivan's" on the invoice when they repair a car for them. So they refuse to honor the warranty (they say 12mo/12,000 miles....unless you look at their craigslist ad that states 2yr/24,000
http://[redacted] My truck repairs fall into both warranty categories as it was repaired in June of last year and only 200 miles into the warranty. But they have no record as stated earlier.Desired Settlement: I would like them to cover the cost of having the transmission replaced. I have purchased a new(used)transmission for $350 and the installation (even by his own quote today) is $500.
So I would like a refund of $850.00 to cover those costs(they will still have made over $400 as I paid just over $1250 for the "repair" job they did last year.

Response:
I reached out to [redacted] on 4/22/2014 as soon as the complaint was received from the Revdex.com of Wisconsin. He was unable to provide any information on when his 2004 Trail Blazer was serviced at Sullivan Service (Which has been out of business since December of 2013). He could not locate any receipts that his truck was serviced there, what service was done and how much he paid for the repair. All he could tell me was that he had it repaired there and he thought he paid around $1000 dollars for the service. He claimed it was May of 2013, but yet he stated he was out of the country for a year, that he had not driven the truck in over a year and only 200 miles have been put on it.
