Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the response from the business is not truthful.? I have a witness to what had actually occurred.? Only one contract was presented to me of which I have included with this complaint as support documentation for my desired resolution.? I did not contact her after the? meeting of March 17, ? The only phone call made was by my sister on March 18, 2017, asking about my refund.? At her offices, she has no signs or notices of a cancellation fee and this only became an issue when I had to cancel the date with her business.? There was no part in the contract about any cancellation or consultation fee.I had to cancel my date due to a family matter.? I explained this to her husband.? I did not think it would be a problem and I would have thought that due to the circumstances of reason for cancellation, anyone would understand and refund me the $and hope that I would return to the facility when I could plan the event Sincerely, [redacted]

She initially inquired and came in to see the venue, but she was not prepared to make a depositShe asked him to hold the venueShe came back the following week on a Wednesday, and she came to do a consultation, and she signed a contractThe following day she called and said she wanted to cancel, and wanted a refundI redid her contract recently, and by mistake omitted the consultation fee which is $I refunded her in full in a sealed envelopeWe told her there was a $consultation fee for when we met about planning the partyIf she decided not to pay the fee at that point I would not have been able to do anythingShe gave me a $payment for the consultation fee and I gave her $change backShe left the building , but she stayed on the property and called the policeThe police had me explain the store and they told her it was a civil matter and and they had her leave the premisesTo summarize, I refunded her in full, she paid me for the consultation and then called the policeShe later had her sister call me to pretend she was going to rent the venueShe then said her sister felt like she was cheated out of $50, and she also confronted me about to situationWe would never take anything from anyone, she paid us the fee willingly

Our company has consulting fees, this fee was not included in her contract as a printing error on our partI explained the situation to the consumer and honored a full refundWe did ask her to pay for the consultation fee of $and she agreed
