I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], as I appreciate my money being refunded. But as I was on the phone I believe with a supervisor, they kept asking for permission to access my computer, I stated no many times. We agreed to refund/resolved. I find it very suspicious that the next time I got on the computer it once again started with pop ups, then froze telling me to call.PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS MY COMPUTER, AS I AM WELL AWARE CBR HAS THE CAPABILITY TO DO SO WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

Review: On July 8, 2014 at 12:25 pm, I was called by a CBR Tech Solutions technician (phone # [redacted] he called himself [redacted] He said someone was trying to access my computer and he would install 2 free soft wares to protect my computer. We had hired this company some time back to install an anti virus, so we had no reason to disbelieve him. He loaded one then said the next one had to be purchased in my name but I would get the money back. To do this, I had to buy a Green Dot money pak for $350.00, which I did. When I got home, he said it would take too long to get the money out of the card and I would have to buy another one from a different store. Now I was suspicious and told him NO and then we had a long discussion. I finally convinced him not to do anything more to my computer.

I tried to get my money back out of the card, but they had already taken it out. I called back, and he said he would send a check and it would take 15 days.

I think they are trying to get $350.00 to $700.00 out of trustworthy people. Something should be done before more people are taken by this company and I don't think I will see that money!

On July 10, 2014 at 8:22 am, I receive a call from a [redacted] and he said a check was coming [redacted] but I had to buy a GREEN dot money pak for the amount of the check, but he couldn't tell me the amount. I did not do it.

I think the names are false and [redacted] than a restricted phone number.Desired Settlement: I would like my $350.00 back. I will eat the price of the card($4.95). I would like to stop them from doing this to other people!

Review: Company agreed to refund $350.00 from a canceled service contract purchased October 3, 2013. In an e-mail October 7, 2013, company said they had processed the refund which would be reflected on my credit card account within 7 to 8 business days. On October 24, 2013 I notified the company that the refund had not yet been credited to my account. They responded with an e-mail saying that the refund had already been credited back to my account. As of today, November 5, 2013, the refund has still not been credited to my account.Desired Settlement: Credit my credit card account with the $350.00 refund.

Review: My Girlfriend was on her computer doing normal things when she was alerted by their website saying her computer was infected with a virus. She didn't know how to get rid of it so she was tricked into getting their software. They then remotely went into her computer putting fake things on to it so it would look like there was something wrong with it when there really wasn't. They installed viruses onto computer and stole her information. Worst customer service ever encountered ever. The refused to do a refund and kept trying to run circles around me and it didn't work. I told them I will be reporting them to the fbi if they didn't give her money back they charged her 269.99 dollars I wasn't having that the said the will be refunding card which I doubt I scared them by telling them I will find them and I have their ip address. The person I spoke to wasn't very intelligent and thought he could strong arm me which didn't work very well. I will get them trust me they just don't know my capabilities yet but its not going to be pretty non the less. Will see what happens in 7 to 10 business days they better compensate or there will be problems.Desired Settlement: I would like her full amount put on her card 269.99 was the total price and that they should be put out of business they are scamming people who don't know how to use the internet. I feel bad for them and the we the people is in the constitution freedom of speech and rights and I don't feel as though justice was served the way they treated us like are you serious the ignorance was out of this world.

I have had a great experience with CBR Tech Solutions. My computer had been hacked into and had to start completely all over. CBR Tech Solutions took care of the problem and now is working great. They also installed windows 8.1. It's easy, just over the phone. Thank You CBR Tech Solutions!!!

Review: I bought a [redacted] office software and when I was installing the program I tried to hit the icon that said Setup Now and nothing happened below the Setup Now icon and above the Office Professional Plus 2013 logo from [redacted] there was a Dial Support 24/7 Toll Free number [redacted] below the number was stated "Get Instant Support for Setup [redacted] Office Products Instantly with our Live Care System ".Since it was a [redacted] product I didn't think that the support would not be from [redacted] or anyone not affiliated with [redacted]. As he proceeded to install the software he had said that he needed to take control of the screen by remote control and he did so, he pointed out that the windows program needed to be re - configured to accept the software and the cost to me would be $99.00 and technical support for 1 year total amount $219.99 . I told him that I had purchased tech support and that this should be included thinking that I was speaking to someone from [redacted] .But he proceeded to tell me that what I had purchased was for the hard drive components not soft ware , so I agreed to his price thinking all along that I was speaking to a [redacted] tech and that if he was wrong in assuming that my tech support would not cover this re- configuring of the program that [redacted] would cover it . So upon ending this ordeal I recieved three emails one from [redacted] which thanked me for my recent purchase for $219.99 along with details of purchase, another from [redacted] saying that I successfully activated [redacted] office and thank you for using [redacted] online services from the [redacted] Office

Team , and a third email from CBR Tech Solutions giving me an email adress on how to request a live support session.I called the [redacted] Store where I purchased the bundle and I was told by the manager that [redacted] does not employ companies such as CBR TECH SOLUTIONS or [redacted] . And that I should bring in my computer to see what had been done to it .Desired Settlement: I Think that this is some kind of scam and it should be stopped . I don't know how they are able to portray themselves as a [redacted] Dial Support team with their toll free phone number right on a [redacted] office log in page . And not be part of [redacted]. Allowing them to steal money from innocent consumers who have trust in these products reputation . As for myself I don't believe that I should be responsible for the charges for the tech support and the one year tech support subscription , I don't know what kind of damage was done to my computer if any . My computer is brand new and I want it to be as it was when I purchased it before these techs reconfigured it .I was told by [redacted] that it appeared to be ok after they removed some things that were installed by CBR TECH SOLUTIONS ,they also told me that it may be reoccurring as is the case today the log on screen from the office log on page has appeared by itself and I need to see the [redacted] tech to remove it .

Review: While working on my computer my screen turned blue and a message came up saying my Microsoft system was badly infected with viruses and I should not touch the computer but call the toll free number they provided to speak to a Microsoft computer tech to fix my problem or I would lose all the data on my computer. I could not get out of that screen no matter what I did. After speaking with someone I was advised they could fix everything and install the software needed to keep that from happening again. They needed to control my computer remotely to get it done. Since I still believed I was speaking with someone at Microsoft I did as they directed. After some questions and getting my credit card number for the service which was $350 for the lifetime service. I was connected to a "level 5 tech". During his "fixing" my computer he advised he wanted me to understand that they were in no way a representative of Microsoft but did sell their product . By then they already had my number. I soon finished the call after already purchasing a "lifetime" warranty on the soft ware service which promised no pop-ups (which has not happened) and no viruses. If I did get a virus they would take care of it without charge. I just want my money back after finding out this was a scam and I want anything they installed on my computer to be removed.Desired Settlement: I want my money back as a credit on my credit card and the assurance they will be removing anything they installed on my computer. Would also like to see them out of business in the US since they are probably a foreign company because they charged me $10.50 for a foreign transaction fee.

CBR Tech Solutions has contacted me regarding my complaint against them #[redacted] They said they did not get my e-mail regarding this, but as soon as you notified them of the complaint they( miracle of all miracles) got my mail. They have agreed to refund me a total of $257.50 after much haggling with them. I accepted this amount because I do not want to drag this out and still have their software on my computer. Even though I am not totally happy with the amount, I did agree to relinquish $100 for their "work fixing my computer". This has just now appeared as a credit on my credit card, as I was still letting the complaint stand until they did actually posted the credit. Is there anything further I need to do with you? Review: On 12/14/2014, I was on computer and started get pop ups every few seconds. Couldn't do anything with the task I was working on. Then a page came up "STOP your computer is infected call [redacted] I called the man was a deep accent answered the phone, he stated my computer was infected with multiple viruses, asking permission to gain access to my computer. I did and he began to show me how my banking,my emails and credit cards were hacked. He said for $150 he could fix these and install their virus protection, that viruses won't get past their system. I agreed, then he started going over cost, he made the statement he was doing me a favor giving this price. He began scan and stated he would call back.2 hr later he called and said it was fixed. Pop ups continued I would call, they would fix 2-3 hrs. This last pop ups started 2/25/2014. I called their 24 hotline at 7:43 am, the woman who answered said they would be in 30 minutes. I kept calling and finally asked bout 24 hr tech support, she said she didn't have access, like all the times I called that morning she kept saying "they will be in in a few minutes. She took my number and said someone would call me. I called again at 11am spoke to [redacted]". I told him the usual about what was going on, but this time stating I want it fixed and my money back. He pulled up [redacted] and told me to complete form and I would get money back next day. During filling out [redacted] form it kept freezing up,(remember he still had remote access) we kept trying to complete form, until he stated "see how bad it is, for just $169 I can take care of the problem. I kept telling him I dont have the money,he said how about $100, I said just fix then remove your scan from my computer. He said I will do you a favor one time and fix. He called back 20 minutes later, he removed a lot of my software, he said see how bad it is. I need to speak to my supervisor, will call back in 1 hr.5 hrs later he still didnt call back,.Desired Settlement: last bit about problem. He fixed I asked to have CBR removed he said NO. To me that means they want to hack in again to try to get more money out of me. Why wouldnt they remove? I gave up on trying to get money back. He removed access to my printer and many items from my downloads. Now I am shopping for for a new laptop. DESIRED OUTCOME: Remove their so called protection and anything else from my computer. Warn people this company is a fake, a scam, DONT DO IT, its been a nightmare. Perfect world I would like a refund.

Review: I had a problem with a tech removing programs from my computer. Another tech reinstalled mos of them but one . I went to the contact point and made out a complaint only to have the error message that a verb error prevents me from sending the contact requestDesired Settlement: Reinstallation of my program.

Review: I was talked into using CBR Tech solutions services, and only a couple hours after giving them my account info for payment, called them back to cancel. They told me I could not cancel because they had aleady started to serve me. I was furious, and let them know that was not acceptable. Eventually they agreed to refund $149, however, even though they insist they refunded my money, it has never shown up in my account. I have an email from my bank, [redacted] stating they did not deposit a refund in my account. They refuse to talk with me or admit they never refunded my money. This all took place Nov of 2014. They are very rude and I would like my refund, even though it is less than they owe me! Can you help me???Desired Settlement: They owe me $149 but the actual amount was $250
