Revdex.com,First off, I apologize that you have to take up valuable time over insurance issues with our office It appears this patient is feeling bad and disgruntled by what benefits they have for oral surgery and what their insurance pays and coversThis patient first presented to our office on March 22, with a referral from her general dentist for extraction of a fractured tooth and implant consultation We billed her insurance on March 22, They paid $out of $This left a balance for the patient of $Ms [redacted] came back to our office for surgery on March 27, The total bill for her surgery was$ She paid a down payment of $990.00, and signed our payment policy and agreement note stating we give the insurance company days to pay on claim, and any charges not paid by that time is the patients responsibilityThe insurance claim was mailed on March 27, On May 27, we received a request from [redacted] , (her medical insurance) asking for operative notes for the bone graft and membrane This was sent to them twice, once on June 6, and again on June 20th On June 14, we received a request from her dental carrier, [redacted] ***, requesting a explanation of benefits from her health insurance company her dental carrier will not make a payment until they see what her health insurance company has paid We are still waiting for that explanation of benefits from [redacted] This has all been explained to Ms [redacted] We have responded to each request from the insurance companies and patientDonna

I apologize if Ms [redacted] was insulted by the word disgruntled I mistook that feeling for her reason to write a complaint to Revdex.com Her dental insurance carrier will not consider benefits until they see what her medical insurance would payWe have sent the claim to [redacted] Health Care who then requested additional information, which was sent back to them on June 20, Since we have not received any response from [redacted] Health Care I called them todayMs [redacted] does not have any oral surgical benefits under her medical planThey only offer coverage if teeth are extracted due to an accident They faxed over the denial explanation of benefits today, and we mailed that out with a copy of her panorex (2nd time) to her dental carrier , [redacted] Benefits Donna

March 22, 2017 with a referral from her general dentist  for extraction of a fractured tooth and implant consultation.  We billed her insurance on March 22, 2017. They paid $66.00 out of $208.00. This left a balance for the patient of $142.00. Ms. [redacted] came back to our office for surgery on March 27, 2017.  The total bill for her surgery was$3297.00.  She paid a down payment of $990.00, and signed our payment policy and agreement note stating we give the insurance company 90 days to pay on claim, and any charges not paid by that time is the patients responsibility. The insurance claim was mailed on March 27, 2017.  On May 27, we received a request from [redacted], (her medical insurance) asking for operative notes for the bone graft and membrane.  This was sent to them twice,  once on June 6, 2017 and again on June 20th 2017.  On June 14, 2017 we received a request from her dental carrier, [redacted], requesting a explanation of benefits from her health insurance company.   her dental carrier will not make a payment until they see what her health insurance company has paid.  We are still waiting for that explanation of benefits from [redacted].
