In response to the above complaint, let me first state that we have been in business since 1986; over plus years, and are a corporation in good standing with the State of Indiana and the State of IllinoisWe have completed over 40,mudjacking jobs and foundation repairsIn addition, this is our response to the Revdex.com complaint also filedWe have had very minimal complaints through the years and have only had two prior complaints with your office and the Revdex.com which were resolved in our favor.I enclose our contact and drawing with [redacted] with items circledI advised her, as you can see on the contract, that if it were mine, that she should replace the stoopMy drawing also shows all the cracks that were there prior to our workThe job was completed on October 2, We sent an invoice and subsequent statements after that date (enclosed) and called and emailed and left messagesWe heard nothing from them and added on interest as we are allowed to do by lawThe first complaint we received was in the attached email on March 9, when we again emailed her regarding paymentThis complaint was received plus months after the job was completedAfter her response, we then advised we would be out as soon as possible to look at the jobI came out shortly thereafter to look at our workWhen I came out, there were vehicles present and I rang the doorbellThere was no answerI knocked on the door and could see lights on insideI then went to my truck to get my phone to call them and no one answered and I inadvertently left the paperwork in the truckI went back to the door and someone finally opened the door (I think it was [redacted] ) and I told her who I was and that I would like to talk to her about her stoop, but that I needed to goback to my truck to get the paperworkRight at that moment, she stated "Go f yourself; we willsee you in Court" and slammed the door in my faceThat is all the conversation we hadI was going to advise them that the stoop was built incorrectly which is why they are having problems with itThe 20' tall columns should have had individual footings instead of standing on top of the stoopWe normally charge about $per hour and this job should have taken hours and my two workers were at this jobsite for VhoursThat instantly tells me that they were having problems and that is due to the fact that the stoop was not built correctly.We did everything we could with her stoop as per our contractThe contract also states "Advanced Concrete Raising, Incis not responsible for damage to plumbing or electrical, cracks in floors or walls or any damage which has occurred or might occur as a result of the settling or mudjacking process."
