Thank you for the opportunity that the Revdex.com has provided to reply to this complaint Please be informed that our Warranty is as follows: “Na Hoku watches have a three year warrantyAll other Na Hoku merchandise has a lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship” Accordingly, the warranty does not extend to damage as result of abuse or wear (that can also be referred to as wear-and-tear) In this particular matter, the Customer’s ring has been subjected to wear to an extent that has caused significant damage, the likes of which we do not encounter even with jewelry that can be many years old and worn on a regular basisWe will send the Revdex.com photographs via separate e-mail that we took of the ring to document the extent of the damage Our offer to resolve this matter and to assist the Customer was to provide a very reasonable repair price to fix the significant damage on this ringThe offer to do the repair for the price provided is of course, still in effect Please let me know if we can provide you with further information or if we can be of further assistance Sincerely, Juliana V [redacted] Customer Service Manager Na Hoku, Inc

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:First of all, the store manager wasn't personally involved She was personally involved with the last call I made RE: invoice from [redacted] Bank account which she told me I had to pay for the whole bill with interest If you check with my first complaint letter to Revdex.com three women told me that it was a 6-month payment plan.I refuse to pay for this bill because I was told continuously that it would be a month payment planWhen I called back and checked in with the store physically, I was told the same thing that it was a month payment plan Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We are rejecting Na Hoku's response because:1) We do not consider this issue to be "the result of abuse or wear" We have had no issues of this magnitude with other rings bought at, for example, *** *** We reiterate our stance that this is in fact an issue of workmanship, if not materials, on the part of Na Hoku (Note also in the ring photos sent by Na Hoku how the black coral has also fallen out of its fixture.) At other places, such as *** ***, w*** repairs (after decades of use, not two years in this case) were necessary, the rings were repaired, no questions asked, as per their Warranty As this is explicitly a Lifetime Warranty, Na Hoku should honor it as such, no questions asked.2) This is now also an issue of disrespect towards the customer Na Hoku's shifting the blame like upon an elderly customer from out of town, who made it clear she would not be staying in town for long (remember Na Hoku's long delay in response, which is also customer-service issue in this dispute), is poor business practice If you look at Na Hoku's reviews on ***, you will see that other customers have reported similar incidents with product workmanship and poor service This time, however, the customer has family on-island, who will continue the negotiation for as long as it takes.3) Incidentally, as of this writing, we still have not received our ring back, despite our repeated requests Our call to Na Hoku last night, talking to a MsSallianne S*** at *** *** Center, did not resolve this issue In fact, MsS*** said she couldn't find the ring in her database! This has now become an issue of incompetence as well as a broken promise.We hope that the Revdex.com will continue these negotiations and report this issue of broken contract to the general public Meanwhile, we have filed an Official Complaint with Hawaii's Office of Consumer Protection We recommend that Na Hoku resolve this issue and honor its contract before investigations become more public and official

patience while this matter was researched in detail.Our
Store Manager was personally involved in both the original purchase transaction
as well as the telephone call from the CustomerOur Store Manager recalls
the
explanation that she provided the Customer during the purchase transaction that
was made by completing the Application Form for the Credit Card and the
applicable 6-month payment planAs is done for all customers who apply for
this form of payment, our Store Manager explained to the customer that the
minimum required payment must be made according to the monthly statement
(mailed by the credit card/finance company)Failure to make the required payment as per the monthly statement would
incur an additional payment due that would include applicable interest (also
provided on the Application Form).Besides
the verbal explanation made by our Store Manager, information regarding the
above is provided on the written Application and Credit Card Agreement that was
filled-out and signed by the Customer
Failure
by the Customer to pay the monthly payment as provided in the mailed statement
resulted in this situation that Na Hoku did not effect and therefore, we will not consider the Customer’s request for payment

Thank you for the opportunity provided to reply to this complaint.   We have been able to identify the purchase described via the date provided (the Sales Ticket however, does not show the same name as the person indicated on this complaint). Please also be informed that the Model number...

provided; “[redacted]” is not correct, and should be correctly noted as [redacted].   In response, we are advising the Revdex.com of the following: -          The #[redacted]: 14K White Gold Dolphin Diamond Hoop Slide (image included) is made of solid 14K gold. This is indicated by the 14K stamp that can be seen along with our Na Hoku trademark on the inside of the dolphin on the Slide. Both stamps are required by law, of which we are compliant. -          The total diamond weight on the #[redacted] Slide is 1.01 carats of genuine diamonds. -          The Customer mentions that “This same item is currently still advertised & available on their website…$1,979 + tax”. This is not correct, this design is not featured on our website www.NaHoku.com.   This matter is taken with the utmost seriousness as Na Hoku, a highly reputable and respected company has been in business since 1924, and we can state with utmost assurance that the #[redacted]: 14K White Gold Dolphin Diamond Hoop Slide features 14K solid gold and genuine diamonds, provided that no modification or change occurred after the purchase of this Slide from our store in [redacted] in September 2015.   In a matter as serious as this, the Customer should be required to submit a written appraisal from the jeweler mentioned in the U.K., as well as a photograph of the Slide in its current condition to enable us to confirm it as our #[redacted]: 14K White Gold Dolphin Diamond Hoop Slide.   Again, we thank the Revdex.com for the opportunity to respond to this matter.   Sincerely,   Paul S[redacted] Vice President Na Hoku, Inc.

I am rejecting this response because:This pendant was a Gift from my Fiancée....Mr [redacted].....whom I was on holiday with at the time of purchase....but who is now sadly Deceased....16/12/16I have enclosed pictures of the Pendant ...as it is now....( clearly unchanged or 'tampered with' as suggested by the sellers...)together with the dates all the Screenshots were taken from Na Hoku Website.These Prove that on 14th July 2017,these items were still available for sale......I have also sent a copy of the receipt that confirms the item stock no was definitely as [redacted]....& the amount paid....NB I will report this matter back to my Valuer & will update you with their written response ASAP...
