$because he was disputing the time the truck arrived at the locationAfter he was presented with the new bill, Mr*** was not satisfied with the new amountUltimately, Mrs*** got involved since she was the person that originally scheduled the job and agreed to a total bill of $The Operations Manager for THE Moving Company agreed with the new amount and authorized a total bill of $which was a $discount from the original bill of $Mrs***'s total amount of $should have been the total charged to her credit cardWe have reached out to Mrs*** to verify her charges and credits but have not received a call backWe want our customers to be happy and have done everything we can to please Mrand Mrs***It must be stated that Mr*** made disparaging remarks about our equipmentThe reason that particular truck was at his location is because it is the smallest truck we have and Mrs*** was concerned about the low hanging limbs at the property she was vacatingWe sent that vehicle in an effort to avoid the trees and get closer to her house. If we could have accomplished our goal her bill would have been lessUnfortunately the smaller truck was still too large and we had to park on the street which took more time to load and as a result increased her billOur company works very hard to please our customersThe ***'s bill was higher than because we had to park on the street and walk all of the goods to the truckOur company works very hard to provide outstanding service and we wish Mrand Mrs*** the best in their new home!

On Jan 10 2017 THE Moving Company loaded a U- Pack Pod/ Trailer for Ms. Edwards. Upon Completion of the Job Ms. Edwards completed a feedback report for our company indicating that we had done a good job of loading her mobile storage unit. At the time that the goods were loaded, the customer neither...

contacted our office nor complained about the procedures that we utilized to load her goods. Nearly five months later the customer called our office and indicated that she wanted to file claims against our company. Our Office Manager informed her that we would not honor any claims because of the fact that the goods had been out of our Care and Custody for nearly five months. As a result we will not honor any claims for the customer. It must be stated that most damages are the result of the transportation of the goods from point A to point B. Needless to say, after transporting the goods nearly 1500 miles there were many opportunities for her goods to be damaged. The obvious questions are A. Who transported the items to the destination, B. What skill level did the driver have, C. Who unloaded the Vehicle, D. Was the unit dropped during transit and E. Was a restack executed for the customer? All of these factors which are outside of the control of THE Moving Company could have led to the damages the customer experienced. We regret to inform the customer that we will not be able to honor any claims for her items. However we do recommend that for future relocations, the customer should hire a full service carrier, which will load, transport and unload the goods in order to insure single carrier responsibility.  We wish our customer well in her new home.
