May 20, 2016Dear [redacted] ,In reference to your letter On May 12, 2016, ID # [redacted] , you will notice on the bill attached, this car was given to us with a slight crack on the left side of the window, not enough to fail for inspection and the owner signed for it with the caption on the billI can not see why we should pay for something we did not do!Secondly, I would like to bring to your attention that this car was not in compliance with federal laws when it came in our shopWe gave him a break and did not call in the state police, otherwise he would have been arrested.Enclosed is a copy of the bill with his signature on it showing he had full knowledge of the windowI find no reason for him to receive compensation from us.Thank you for your time.Sincerely,J& M Service Center, Inc
