Review: My name is [redacted] and I was enrolled in two programs provided by Contractor State License School (CSLS), Blueprint reading class and crash course. However, I realized that two program are not suite for me later on. I request to switch the carsh course program to the Home Study program. Moreover, I also adknowleded that I don't need the Blueprint reading class at all. The reason I enrolled to the class was that I was mislead by the sales representitve. I thought I was going to take a Eastimating Class, but not the blue print class. Although I have received the materials of blueprint reading class, I havn't open the package yet and requrest a refund for cancelling the blue print reading class. I agree to return the materials to them.

However, my request for refund was denied by CSLS. They are claiming that I have signed the paper work.

Although CSLS offered me some options after I submit the request of refund,

a) opt to put the licensing process on hold for up to two years. CSLS would provide new/updated materials at no cost.

b) opt to take a different course or take advantage of any service that CSLS offers.

c) opt to transfer your program to a third person at no charge (CSLS would waive any transfer fees).

I have lose my faith in them. They should notify me about the details of policy on the agreement paper and shoul not mislead me to enroll to the blue print reading class. Therefore, I end up with filing this complaint against them to protect my rights.

Contractors State License Schools (CSLS) received the above-referenced customer complaint and appreciates the opportunity to respond. Specifically, [redacted] complains that the Blueprint Reading course purchased on 7/23/2015 was something he did not wish to attend and that his wish was to attend an Estimating course instead. Pls note we have made the offer to accomodate his request by transferring his Blueprint Reading course for an Estimating Course - he has declined this offer. In addition to this offer to remedy his disposition, we offered him the ability to transfer the monies paid towards any current or future program he wishes to receive. Again, these offers have been declined by [redacted]. CSLS is focused on delivering a wide choice of solutions and the best possible education experience to our customers. Be assured we do everything possible to resolve such matters while upholding the terms of his executed contract (attached). We ask that you please keep in mind; CSLS reserves seating when any enrollment is created such as [redacted]'s Estimating Course. When a seat is taken/reserved, it's one less we can offer to others. In addition, as stated by [redacted], CSLS has delivered materials to him in preparation for his course.

An attempt to reach [redacted] today at 830am resulted in a message left on his voicemail. In addition, an email was sent to [redacted] at 3:30pm requesting he contact me directly to resolve the matter as soon as possible. Review: I had puchased a test prep course frome CSLS. The instructor was rudeand impersonal. Went through a slide show eextremely fast and disnt give any time for questions. After the slide show we had a self study period which lasted 4 hours! During which time I tryed asking questions and was flat out told no and to look it up in the study material. I have been to many other crash courses and have had a completely different experience very dissatisfied and feel like I was taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: If I do not pass this exam due to this instructors lack of training and motivation to due his job I would expect my retest to be paid for and an aditional test prep course with another instructor.
