he bring his car in the shop he complaining for starting problem, we check starting sytem which is related to starter motor alternator and battery, and his battery was low voltage and not in of juice also battery is more than four years old in this case we dont recommend recharge battery because when battery work in the car there is lot of things connected, like lights stereo many things,we explain him and he authorised for new batteryand same time he demanding for old battery to, which is always going back to battery suppliers as a core, but we gave to him,the think is if anything wrong with the new battery we must be take care of itwith respect my customer, we always work with our diagnostic because we are responsible for our business, and repairsand yes in future we are willing to take care all our customersthanks

 Complaint: [redacted]I wish to give more evidence to you concerning this complaint.1, This business order a battery before  he examined the vehicle.  I was on my lunch break, started my car and drove to the MVa (my job) I returned when I got off from work. The manager was not there. started my car and went home. In as much as I had a 7:30 am  appointment at the VA hospital I drove back home to rest, for to drive to Washington DC to be serviced by the VA, I had to get up by 6:00 am at the latest to be on time for my appointment. My friend at my building told me that if I had any problems, to call him. I had no problems with my car. I had no problem, because my battery and other components operated perfectly. When I was finished at the VA, my car started perfectly again. As stated in my earlier complaint, I stopped by my mechanics station, told him what problems I was having, and he had his mechanic to check the battery out.  It passed with flying colors. I went back to the BP station again, told him what I did. I could have just drove off. Because I was in business for myself for 30 years and retired, and had feelings for him and wanted to be fair. I gave him the keys to my car. THEN. he changed up on me.THE REST OF THE STORY IS IN MY ORIGINAL COMPLAINT. I have two very good working batteries. This manager, anxious to get more money from me rushed to judgement and bought a battery for my car without testing to see if the problem was the battery.I did not suspect this from him, especially since I have not only bought gasoline from this station, but had mechanical, tire service, oil, lottery and many other products and services from this station.By the way, the stations name, according to my Receipt, is Forest Glen BP ARE Certified.Thanks for being there in my time of need.  I did not need a $183.oo Battery for my carI am rejecting this response for the above reasonsRespectfully Yours.[redacted]Transportation & Distribution Solutions###-###-####P.S: If this Business would refund my $183.00, I will give him back the New Battery he put in my car, put my old battery in the proper place under the hood, shake hands with him, and return to being  a good customer and small business man in zip code [redacted]

Note to potential buyers - if you purchase a product and pay for delivery and its defective you have to return it yourself. CORT is full of excuses I have been a loyal customer for years , Now they wont return calls after a sale. Bought beds that were defective, paid for delivery now I am told I have to bring them in myself as they don't have their own delivery company. So lets see I paid $80 delivery for defective products... Thanks for not offering to help find a viable solution. 2 thumbs down

Review: On June 2, 2014, I went onto the CORT Furniture website to chat with a representative. I was interested in purchasing a dining room set, and found one I liked on their site. However, before I drove all the way to the store to purchase it, I wanted to ensure it was in my price range, which meant that delivery had to be included. I entered into a chat with representative Cathy, who answered affirmatively that if I purchased furniture from the clearance center, delivery is free.

Upon arriving at the store and locating my desired furniture, I was informed by the salesperson that delivery was not free, and it would in fact cost me a base fee of $85. This quickly placed the items out of my budget, and wasted a great deal of my time, energy, and travel to go to the store. I am extremely frustrated that a representative from the company would give me false information like this. It seems convenient that they claim one thing, then when you get into the store, there is a bait and switch and suddenly delivery is no longer free. I guess they expect you to just purchase it any way. However, that is unethical and not fair to the customer.Desired Settlement: I would like the free delivery I was told was offered.
