Consumer is mostly correct in his complaint and because of that we have removed this account from his credit reportHe must wait days for it to take effect. HOWEVER, our records clearly indicate that the consumer has never disputed the debt and in fact, made a PROMISE TO PAY
the debt in 2016! This could've easily been worked out if he would've simply called our office to discuss the matter. Thank you, CCP Management*** ***

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/03/03) */
Hi ***,
Thank you for contacting us through the Revdex.comWe take every complaint (& positive review!) very seriouslyI've reviewed your compliant, looked at our account notes, and listened to phone callsYou have taken
messages for your mother before and in doing so we have certain protections under the law to continue our attempts to reach her by calling your numberFurther, federal law states that we must be notified in writing to remove a phone numberFederal law also defines "harassment" as: Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number." - please understand we are not intending to do any of those things, we are simply attempting to connect with your motherHOWEVER and with all of that being said, I/we empathize with your unique circumstance and have removed your phone number as a "can be reached" number from your mother's accountYou will not be hearing from us again
Have a wonderful day
Sincerely,
CCP
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/03/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept the response to be removed as a contact

We connect with folks all day whereby they tell us we've reached the wrong party (i.ethey do not know the party we're looking for)As soon as we are told and made aware of this, the number is removed from our systemIt's very simpleWe do this all of the timeFrankly, the phone number provided
in the "complaint" isn't even in our systemWe've have no interactions with that number EVERThis leads me to believe the customer is "venting" to the wrong companyEither that, or the number we've called wasn't included in the complaintEither way, there's nothing we can do other than to offer our empathy to a frustrated person out there. Please let us know if we can do anything further. Sincerest regards,CCP Managagment*** ***@creditcollectionpartners.com

How can we stop calling you when you won't tell us what number(s) we're calling? I realize you're frustratedBelieve meI doWe don't want to call the wrong party ***We have ZERO intent/desire to do soIf you've told agents from our company to remove your number and that the number is not a number to reach said party, I'm confident our staff removed those phone numbers and we will not call againBut I cannot validate that through this Revdex.com channel if you don't tell me what number(s) not to call

As [redacted] (customer) outlined, we work for Coles County Illinois; specifically with the State's Attorney and Circuit Clerk's offices. His complaint is a common one. He also mentions is MVR and state's that this ticket would be on his MVR. That's not entirely true. We work for over 60 IL counties and...

not all of them, in fact several of them do not turn all unpaid tickets into the IL DMV whereby his MVR would be affected. I can see why he'd think that but that's just not 100% accurate. These types of fines/fees are not 'reportable' to credit reporting agencies so he doesn't have to worry about that. We've been in touch with [redacted], the Coles County Circuit Clerk, who has told us that she's been in contact with [redacted] and is in the process of procuring additional paperwork. Again, we work for the County and cannot remove this account from our system until they retract it. If the Coles County Circuit Clerk and State's Attorney state that [redacted] has an outstanding infraction and want us to pursue it, we will. Simultaneously we respect [redacted]'s position and work with him in resolving this matter amicably. Best regards,CCP

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/18) */
Dear Mr. [redacted],
Thank you for contacting us. We strive to achieve optimal customer service for every single interaction we have with consumers. I have reviewed your complaint many times. I've also spoke with the hospital about the...

account.
Let me start by saying that we will absolutely listen and critique all conversations had with our staff (including [redacted] and [redacted] Thank you for your feedback. That's how we improve, by hearing from folks like yourself. Thanks again.
In regards to "responsibility" for the debt. I empathize with your situation especially because your divorce has been final for so many years but I can say definitively that the Illinois RIGHTS OF MARRIED PERSONS ACT specifically state that because you were married at THAT time, that both you and your ex-spouse are still liable. The text for the IL law can be found here: [redacted]
Finally, because we have an unconventional situation here that staunchly goes against the intent and spirit of credit reporting, we have made the internal decision to remove this account from your credit report entirely. Please allow up to 30 days for each of the credit reporting agencies to be updated.
Please contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX and ask to speak with a supervisor if you have any additional questions.
Thank you,
CCP Management
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/02/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I appreciate the quick response to my complaint and the removal of the account from my credit report given the circumstances of the case.

Hello,We've reviewed your complaint thoroughly and sincerely empathize with your frustration. party. We've reviewed your inbound call to us on 2/26. Our agent identified that our data vendor supplied us with an incorrect address (turned out to be your address). We removed that address (your address) from the account. That's where the call ended. We never had an opportunity to verify if the phone number on the account was accurate or not. Today was the very first time you told us that your phone number was for the wrong [redacted]. And with that single conversation; your phone number has been removed from the account in our system and you'll not be hearing from us again. Please know other entities and businesses may make this mistake also. There is no intent to harass [redacted]. Far from it. We're simply trying to get a hold of an individual that happens to have the same name as you and resides in the same state. The very first time we learned this was the incorrect phone number, it was removed. We sincerely hope you have a great rest of your day. Let us know if we can help you further. Best regards,CCP Management

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for contacting us through the Revdex.com. We have reviewed your complaint with our client; the [redacted] You did in fact receive a speeding ticket in 2002 while driving through [redacted]...

County. Please understand that I-55 and I-57 run directly through or immediately adjacent to [redacted] County (perhaps en route to Chicago).
We understand your apprehension in believing this to be factual but it is. Your original ticket fine was $75.00. You paid $70.00 in a timely manner. The $5.00 remained outstanding all these years until the county turned all of their unpaid cases to collections in which case a $1.50 collection fee was added. All of this can be validated here: https://www.
Per Illinois State law (730 ILCS 5/5-9-3) the outstanding fine shall draw interest at a rate of 9% per year. This amount (as of today) equals $6.01 bringing your total to $12.51 as of 11/3/15.
Please contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX if you have any further questions.

Consumer has NEVER, not even once, requested that this item be removed from her credit report. Very disappointed that consumer didn't attempt to contact us about this. It's a very simple process. REGARDLESS, this item has been removed. Consumer must allow up to 30 days for this removal to make it's...
