There was a water leak that was repaired promptly and according to industry guidelines.? The apartment was inspected multiple times by multiple employees and there was never any sign of mold.? We requested that the resident provide pictures of the mold and she stated that she didn’t have any.? When we asked if she had ever seen mold she stated that she had not, but that she believed there was mold even though she had no evidence of mold in the apartment.? ? This is not a valid reason to break a written lease agreementPictures of the unit are attached for your review as well?

I am rejecting this response because: I asked for a professional to check the apartment walls for mold. Mold is not always visible from the outside. Mold builds inside the walls, for example where the leak was, once mold becomes visible on the outside the problem has become far worse. This is not an isolated issue, I left on account of two unresolved water damage issues. When asked did I see mold my honest answer was no however, that does not mean it doesn't exist. As stated in my letter I am a healthy person and I had to go to urgent care more than 4 times due to upper respiratory problems which is a sign of mold. The wall closest to my bed was cracked , peeling, and puffed out due to water damage and the office staff refused to have a professional inspector called. After the third leakage into my bedroom due to structural issues with the window moisture ants began crawling g through the window and nesting in the wall. To protect myself, my husband, and my unborn baby from hazardous living conditions I referred to the lease agreement regarding mold that I'm sure is present and left in accordance with its rules. I would say that is a sufficient excuse. Regards,[redacted]
