GMAC sold my mortgage to 21stNever had any sort of issue with GMAC or any other mortgage company with which I have dealtI always submit payment via check to days ahead of due dateCompany HOLDS check every month so it appears to be lateA month or two I could understand being the USPS's faultEVERY month? I am not even "Late" on my payment, nor have I ever been, considering there is a day grace period, and yet my account has been "Red Flagged" whatever that meansThey call every phone number on the account, every day, along with an email, everydayThey also called my husbands boss, which was embarrassing, especially since we are not even late! When I answer, I am belittled and talked down to, like I am trying not to pay themI would like to keep my home, thanksI told them I would make a payment first thing in the morning, and I was told that was not good enoughThey tried to demand their payment today, yelling the date at meSo, I hung up

I fell behind on my loan with this company due to an injuryAt first I tried explaining my situation and that I would catch upThey did not want to hear itInstead I got harassing phone calls everydayThey never tried to work with me at allThey then took steps to foreclose, forcing me into bankruptcyAfter bankruptcy, payment arrangements was made through courtThese arrangements was on 21st mortgages terms and the payment was over $a month for monthsAt times I would still fall behind trying to make these huge payments but would always find a way to catch upEvery time I missed a payment they would file a motion to repo my home with the courtsI have fallen behind again and once again they have filed and gotten their motion to repo my homeOnce again I have called and offered to catch up but they refuse to work with me They have told me that someone will be at my home to repo it within a weekThey claim I owe $in arrears including their attorney feesI offered to pay this month and the remaining next monthThat still isn't good enoughThis company has horrible customer serviceI have invested so much only to have them turn around and take my home when I am clearly making an effort and catching upSomething needs to be done about this company

They are one of the rare mortgage companies, in my experience, whose web site does not allow you to check loan balances, transaction history, etcEverything has to be done over the telephoneI called today, early January, to ask how much interest I had paid in and was told they did not have access to that information and that the appropriate form would be sent out on January How could they not have access to such a simple request? When I asked that the representative pass along my frustration to management, she hanged up on me

This company is a nightmare, if you are always on time, an fall on hard times, an have a late payment they will harass you until 8:pm, shut off online payments to your account, and make you call only to belittle you, an if you don't answer their 150,questions about why your payment is less than Days late to what they want they will refuse to let you make a paymentYes you can be transferred to a supervisor who will be just as rude, and hateful as the first, I was literally on the phone for two hours trying to make a payment, an finally had to cut them off after their brutal comments, & snide remarksI was so mad I was in tearsI send my payments in now by mail, because I cannot deal with them on the phone, and I refuse to answer, so this month my payment was three days past due, and I got 10-calls a day, and then a letter stating if I didn't pay the full amount by the twelfth (which my grace period is until the 17th) they would have a meeting on the twelfth about the possible repossession, and foreclosure of my homeHOW are they legally able to treat/harrass people this way? Seriously considering hiring an attorney No customer service skills, no ability to be courteousIf I could go back I would have never used this companyAlso, why do they have a A+ rating when there are SO many complaints?

I have been a customer of 21st mortgage for years, I have made all of my payments weeks ahead of the due dateI have never been late or even close to lateI cannot get a balance summary from 21st mortgageDespite emailing, calling and attempting to contact a supervisor, they refuse to give me a balance statementI have called to refinance my home since my credit and income has improved from the time I initially purchased the homeI get ran in circles by what I can most politely call half - rustic mouth breathers that probably have no business handling a person's private and confidential informationI only purchased through this company because my family was young, we needed affordable housing and we were financially illiterate at the timeI will say now more than ever do not apply for a loan through this companyI would rather live under a bridge than finance a house with 21st mortgage

I recently purchased a home financed through 21st Mortgage and enjoying my new home as well and up to today, my experience with this company is rated a "0"I submit my payments through my bank, in which the bank sends out the monthly mortgage payment (check) for meIn August, I explained to a 21st representative thats how I send my payments because it was not received on the day it was dueShe told me, that since the check is postdated it will be fine as long as the payment is receieved I did all of my recent payments this way and no one from 21st ever contacted me about my payments regardless if it was 1-days late I spoke with a male repesentative (***) 4-days prior informing him that the payment was processed through my bank and it should be received within a few days
Today, I spoke with three different individuals (males; including ***) regarding my payment not received yet; all representatives (besides ***) were getting their point across about different ways to pay and that my payment is late but was very rude and unprofessionalI explained to them the situation and I was not going to cancel a check, and acquire a fee from my bank, when the check is on the way to 21st Payment Processing CenterNeither of the individuals care what I had to sayI asked (for example) if I "know" my payment is not going to be posted on the date its due, can I call to inform someone to make arrangementsThe individual told me no because I signed a legal document stating I was going to make payment when its dueThis company is unbelievableWhat company does not honor payment arrangements? I understood if I was days late and failure to pay but I'm paying my mortgage every month
If you're doing business with someone you do not talk to them (customers) as if they were your friendAddress them by their last name not their first nameThis company needs proper customer service training for individuals in their Call CenterAlso, if customers do not have a grace period what are they suppose to do if we can not call to inform (which is a responsible thing to do) that payment will be late? Clearly, there's some miscommunication when you talk to different representativesThis makes me want to refinance my loan with a different companyThat referral I was going to give, no longer exist

I got a loan with St Century in for a mobile home and I paid last payment this week 04/
I am here to you NO ONE HAS WORKED HARDER FOR ME THEN THEE FOLKS
Now they want and need you to pay your bill but let me say this I have been through a divorce, two bankruptcies and sevral medical issues in years but these guys worked with me through it all
I'm sorry but I don't have one thing bad to say except THANK YOU GUYS AT ST CENTURY MORTGAGE YOU HELPED ME ALL THE WAY!

horrible customer service. They harass stalk and call your friends family and/or neighbors and harass them also. inaccurate charges .escrows that go no where but to the company and doubledips on interest. This company needs to be audited!

My experience with 21st Mortgage started out very well, during the application period I had fantastic service. I worked with [redacted] and he was fantastic! Everything was done timely and correctly.
However once my loan was approved the tone of the company seemed to shift. When I call now they sound irritated at my questions. I recently went through and ordeal with them that has sparked me to write this complaint.
To start off there is no way to view past payments online so you have to request a transaction history to see the details of your payments. I called on the fourth of November 2016 to make a principle payment on my loan and at the same time I requested a transaction history for my records. I never received a confirmation e-mail or anything, so when I checked my bank account on the 8th to make sure everything was correct I found out that they had not deducted the money yet. So I called to see what had gone wrong and found out that they did not apply my payment to principle they just added it to the loan so I paid interest! If I had not called I never would have known they ignored my request and applied my payment incorrectly. The lady I spoke with [redacted] was very helpful and corrected the payment. I then asked for another statement to reflect this change. On the 10th I still had not received either of my requested statements so I called back, they told me that it had been mailed out to me on the fourth and just to be patient and wait for it, that it takes a while to get to me USPS. So I waited until the 17th and called back having still not received my documents. The man on the phone was very short with me and seemed very annoyed that I had called again. He once again told me that it was sent out USPS on the fourth and to be patient they do not control the postal service. This made me quite upset, he did not offer to help just told me to wait. Well when I did finally receive one of my papers on the 18th I found out the paperwork was printed on the 10th, and not mailed until the 15th! So I was lied to on two occasions about when my paperwork was actually mailed. I called today (the 21st) and asked to speak with a manager the man who got on the phone sounded annoyed like he would rather be doing anything else than speaking with me. I explained my situation to him and he did not care in the slightest. He just told me that the paperwork they mailed on the 4th must have been lost and they must have resent it on the 10th. I was shocked, I said I would like to lodge a complaint that I was lied to on the phone twice and that my original payment that I had requested to be principle only was not applied that way. He told me no one lied to me and he would not be taking down my complaint.
This is completely unacceptable. Once you have signed on the dotted line this company no longer cares and would not admit they were wrong or even apologize that they had made the mistakes.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

21St. Mortgage company is by far the most rude and disrespectful company I have ever had to deal with. Working in the auto industry we are prone to layoffs and short work weeks. I had called and told them of my situation. Asking for help I was 2 months behind and addressed I could make everything up including any late fees within one months time. I was told I could not be helped...pay everything within a week or we start foreclosure. They would not answer my questions told me I was not listening to them. Even threatened that they could foreclose on my home now because I wouldn't give them what they wanted right then and there. Even tried to tell me I would owe $2000.00 dollars in one months time. 3 months mortgage payments and 3 late fees does not add up to $2000.00 dollars! Basically you are not allowed to have financial issues even when it is no fault of your own. Pay up or get out. This is not a friendly we will work with you kind of company that anyone would want to deal with. They will do anything to get your money when they want it...no matter the circumstances.

The customer service representatives are rude and disrespectful. God forbid you should run into financial troubles (such as losing a job, having surgery or something to that extent) because they will offer you NO help whatsoever! For the first 5 years of our loan, we were NEVER late on a payment (paid weeks in advance even) and in our 6th year, my husband and I both lost our jobs within days of eachother due thanks to the issues our economy was having (both work in construction) and they offered no deferrals for us and we found out that we have no insurance or credit life on our home loan (don't even remember being offered the option to have either). Even with our struggles, we've never been over 30 day late on our loan, but if you miss a payment, the day after it's due, expect calls, texts and emails from them on every number/email address that you have provided them with. They don't care about your situation and althought they SAY they will work with you to get the payment back on track, you WILL quickly find out that there are NO options other than make the payment before that 30 day mark or they will foreclose.

I am NOT AT ALL happy with this company and hate that we've gotten involved with them. I'm so disatisfied that if our house was not tied up in family-owned land, we would let it go back with no hesitation. We are currently seeking to refinance with another company and get away from this mess that they call a business! I agree with previous comments, I have NO idea how they are accredited with the Revdex.com with their poor customer service and lack of options to their customers.

I was very pleased with my experence with 21St Morage Corporation. My contact was Nicki J. She was very helpfull the entire process. She got back with me on every item I had questions on very quickley.
At one point I also talked to a Sara who was very helpfull also.
I would recomend this company to anyone who is in need of a mobile home loan.

I was 28 days past due and attempted to make a payment. The manager harassed me on why I was late and threatened foreclosure. I couldn't discuss it due to being at work. The manager refused to accept my full payment until I told him why I was late and when I was going to make my next payment, which wasn't due until three days later. I kept telling him that I just needed to make a payment. He still refused, so I had to hang up.

Working with 21st Mortgage and my loan originator Jonathan C. was such a positive experience. I feared the worse from some of the reports. But I found just the opposite. Jonathan was totally professional and yet down to earth, He was truthful and honest working with my realtor. It was such a positive experience I would highly recommend 21st. Mortgage
I have found its not always the mortgage company or even the agent fault, but many times its the lack of knowledge from the realtor and not the mortgage company. Would I recommend 21st. Mortgage again, Yes, 1000%.

21 mortgage is VERY inconsistent with what they tell you. We submitted a payment online after we were not able to deposit our money for our auto draft. 3 people told us that our bank account would not be touched and it was anyway. When we called to get it figured out we had different people telling us different things. One hung up on us and they got snappy several times. Oh and apparently according to [redacted] a supervisor there, they don't record phone calls, they WRITE SUMMARIES of the phone call so no matter what they tell you they can change it to make them look like the good guys and the customers look like the liars. Currently we are still trying to get OUR NEEDED money back. RECORD ALL OF YOUR PHONE CALLS YOU MAKE WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE RUDE, INCONSISTENT LIARS.

I have a home loan with this company. This past month I was laid off of my job suddenly due to contracting issues (state employee). We have done our best to budget but it has been a problem of course. We have been able to work with other companies and get extensions as necessary and be treated respectfully. With 21st we have been able to work out a plan for me to pay on a certain day with a $50 fee. Although I think to fee is extreme I do not dispute it, but I do have a problem with the service received.

I was contacted by our loan manager, [redacted], and was interrogated on why we cannot make a payment immediately even though I had explained our situation multiple times. I also explained that I would be starting work soon and will be receiving money to catch up within 2 weeks. I then talked to his supervisor, [redacted]. I asked to have a private conversation and that [redacted]would not be listening in. She laughed and said 'He will be aware of anything we talk about'. I let her know I understood but would prefer he would not be on the phone. She was very rude from this point on. I let her know I did not appreciate how she was handling the situation and I would appreciate her understanding. She was still very nasty for the remainder of the call. We worked a payment plan out and I asked if she has a supervisor I could speak with. She explained that it would not help and the payment was set. I let her know I accept the payment but would like to speak with her supervisor. She then put me on hold before answering me. I was on hold for 10+min before speaking with someone else. I was pretty upset by this point and tried explaining the rudeness and the unprofessional attitude of her employees that I have been experiencing. She let me know she has been working with both of these people for a while and there is nothing she can do. She then went to explain that they are not in the business of "customer care and only collections".

In my opinion if you work with people you should take care for what you say and have respect for people. I do not think it is OK to treat people with such rudeness. As stated before I do not wish to change anything with my payment or its arrangement but would like my experience with these very rude people to be know.
