On the day the merchandise was purchased, as the complainant explained in her statement, she had approved her brother to purchase items in a one time saleOnce the approval to use her card was authorized, her brother decided to purchase his merchandise through our In- House programThis program is
designed to help the customer pay for the sale of their merchandise by splitting the total sale in equal paymentsOur in House financing program allows the customer to take the merchandise home with a 25% down payment, and make three additional equal payments using an active debit card on fileCustomers who do not have an active debit card to pull the additional three payments are not allowed to use our in House program to help them pay the merchandise they are allowed to take home the day of the saleThe problem seems to fall between the complainant and her brothers misunderstandingIt was not our intention to go against the wishes of the complainant in order to make a saleOur sales team does not work on commission so making a dishonest sale has no benefits to anyone and we rely on repeat business and word of mouth advertisingIt was sincerely our understanding that day the purchase was made by the complainants brother, she had authorized use of her credit card to pay the total saleWe assumed using the in house program was approved as wellWe were not aware of any problems with the use of her card for future payments nor did her brother explain he would need to pay the additional three payments from his own cardFinancing is not available to customers without active debit cards and the brother did not offer us information on his own personal card for future paymentsThis complainant agrees she authorized the sale, the use of her card, and the sale was made with the intentions to use the card to pay for the total sale, as agreedThis misunderstanding is unfortunate but we feel the problem needs to be worked out between the complainant and her brotherWe do not feel obligated to refund money for merchandise received and used because of a misunderstanding between family membersWe hope the complainant is able to recover her funds from her brotherwe do not strive to give the best customer satisfaction we can and hope money is recovered by the complainant's brother

We contacted the customer immediately and offered a replacement for the itemShe agreed to accept the replacement and that item was delivered and the issue has been resolved

I filed a complaint one week ago and the only update is that you are waiting for a response from the company.  At this point we would be willing to take a right-recliner and a left-chaise to complete our sectional!  But I would want it delivered free of charge.  Please refer...

I purchased a sofa and love seat in July, and still continue to get the run around and excuses about my furniture. This is not good customer service.My complaint is that I haven't received my merchandise yet and that I keep getting the run around and excuses on why I haven't gotten it yet. I am also tired of him not returning my calls and not being honest about the situation. I purchased a sofa and love seat on July 5th and that order was placed by me to [redacted] who was the sales rep. at the time of my purchased. Sofa and chair finish began flaking and peeling a few months after purchase. I and my credit card company were promised a replacement. Did not happen11/11/12 complaint, told to contact distributor. They said seller. 11/22/12 complaint, he would contact distributor and pick up furniture. 12/2 & 12/16 said he had replacement would call to set up delivery. 1/2/12 7 days minimum for replacement. 1/20, 1/21, 1/31 given pick-up ticket. 2/7/12 spoke with [redacted] at distributor [redacted] she suggested Revdex.com. 2/8/12 contacted [redacted] credit card to dispute. He promised them a replacement so they closed it. I was promised a number of times later. A check was accepted for payment on my account and deposit by dealer in his account instead of informing me where payment should be submitted. On June 11, 2014 I entered into Discount Furniture and Mattress store and made a puchase for my sister as gift. I open the account [redacted] and made a payment of $200.00 immediately using my debit card. It was clear to the dealer [redacted] that I would mail in future payment to the store because I was out of state. On June 13 the furniture was deliverd and I was asked to sign the deliver notice. A few days later [redacted] called requesting a copy of my drivers liscene and giving me a number to call and verify that I received the funiture. I was never mailed my copy of the contract as he said he would. I knew a payment will be due soon so I dated check #[redacted] July 15,2014 in the amount of $200.00 payable to discount mattress and furniture and requested my sister take it to the store. On August 4 ,2014 my sister notified me that she receieved a notice from the finance ([redacted]) company at her address requesting for a past due payment. I was baffled. She texted me the information to call and follow up. I called the finance company on Agust 5, 2014 and was told I had not made payment since I purchased the furnitue. I immdiately made payment over the phone to bring my account up to date. I checked my bank account and found the payment that was given to [redacted] by check was not posted against my furnityre account, however it was sign for Deposit only to the store account ( transaction date 7/24/2014,[redacted]. I have contacted [redacted] myself to ammend this situation and rquested for my mony back. I contacted him on August 5, 2014 he assured me he will forward a check for payment to my account. I called the Fiance company again on August 13, 2014 and spoke to [redacted] concerning payment. [redacted] still had not made payment. [redacted] was kind enough to do a confercence call to help resolve the issue. [redacted] would not join us on the line but confirmed again that he will mail in papyment. I'm concerned [redacted] knew if he does not accept payment in the store could given the check back to my sister directly at that time instead he chose to keep it and deposit. Now when I call the store my calls does not get answered.Desired SettlementJust want him to refund my 220.00 dollars back directly to me or post to my account with the finance company any late fees if occured.
