My heat went out two days ago. I submitted a request for service immediately and called several times but have not heard back about my rental.
My heat went out two days ago (01/24/2020) . I submitted a request for service immediately and called several times but have not heard back. I have a two week old infant visiting me for a few weeks and we're having to get hotels because of this issue. The lease states that loss of heat below 40 degree is considered an emergency work order and will be repaired in 48 hours. Unfortunately I haven't been able to even contact anyone as their phone are automated only directed to voicemails and the web based repairs doesn't allow to flag emergency work orders.

Desired Outcome

I need the heat fixed immediately and an adjustment in the rent for hotel/stay accommodations past the initial 48 hours allowed in the lease.

Addressed.

I applied for one their properties, pay the application fee, etc. just them to tell me that I was denied because of a 12 1/2 year old traffic violation. I think they are just trying to make money off people by collecting money from application fees. The only thing on my background check is a traffic violation from 12 years ago. This is a bootleg company.

He has multiple dui's, the last one from 2007. Shows irresponsible behavior.

I never heard of a dui from 12 1/2 years ago STOP you from being approve for an apartment. Most companies goes back 10 years on felony. Credit good, no eviction, no felony, just a traffic violation over 12 years ago. This is not a company I would like to do business or recommend to anyone. Very unprofessional.

I received a phone call and email stating my rent was past due. I called and *** was extremely rude, would not listen and tried out talking me.
I was contacted by phone on 4/9/18 by *** a voicemail was left stating there were issues with my account. I called back and was advised that there is nothing wrong with my account, everything has been paid. I wondered what the point of the call was but thought maybe it was just an error and not to worry about it. Today on 4/23/18 I received an email stating "Dear Tenant Please remember there is a balance on your account that is DUE!. Please contact the office and make proper arrangements for the balance.
Best Regards *** Collections/Evictions" I emailed back and stated I wanted a complete breakdown of my account because I am not past due, I am actually paid ahead, and was paid ahead for two months. I was on my lunch break so I decided to call the office. I reached ***, I started to explain that I had just received an email stating my rent is past due and that information was not accurate. She cut me off. She was rude through the entire conversation. It became the "get this woman off the phone" conversation rather than listening and coming up with the best solution. She said that the system sent it to me and that my account was fine. However, since I had gotten the phone call and now email I need to know that this will stop. My concern is I have things in the works and do not want them to negatively report that I have not paid my rent when that information is not correct. I was still confused and do not understand so I asked again. She said she would remove my name from the list so I will not get the emails. However, I again stated but I had gotten a phone call two weeks ago, so this is not making me confident that everything is completely ok with my account. Instead of listening *** insisted on trying to talk over me, not actually listen to my complaints, and then hung up on me. I called back and she stated the phone dropped out of her hand, the battery fell out, she put it back in and turned the phone on, this is a cell phone. I do not believe that. She was rude the entire time, for no reason, her tone of voice was NOT at all welcoming or friendly. I did not feel comfortable with getting phone calls and emails saying my rent is past due and I am just supposed to ignore it. Can I ignore paying me rent? I think not, so this I will also not ignore. I asked for the office managers name, she said she is out sick, I asked for the name again as being sick does not change the person's name. She told me the name of the person. However after I was hung up on when I called back I asked *** who her boss was, she tried to avoid answering, she said *** is the office manager and it doesnt matter because *** would just refer me back to her. So I asked "who is your boss," again she did not want to give me that information, but kept asking "Who is your boss, who pays you, who is above you, boss," she finally stated her boss' name is ***. I was in the process of emailing *** because that is the only other email address I have for this company, I do not know who is who and who employs who. I have not been taken seriously, I have not gotten the chance to tell my side, *** has only listened to ***'s side, in which I stated, why would *** tell her boss that she was rude? *** told me that Revdex.com will not take this minor complaint seriously, not sure if that was to get me to not file the report, but I would hope the a Customer Service would be taken seriously. If E & E had no customers/tenants then they would have no business. I know that I am now looking to move and get away from this company. There is something shady going on and customers are not highly valued. I should not be spoken to rudely, your job does not require that. I will not ever stand to be treated or talked to any kind of way. I have the voicemail and all emails associated with this.

Desired Outcome

I want an apology before anything else. Secondly I want to be assure my account is fine and that they are not going to report to any credit bureaus that my account is past due when it is not. I would like to know this is going to be fixed, I as the customer am taken seriously and not just told to "take deep breaths," and I would like to know that *** will be advised to be mindful of her tone when talking to customers/tenants.

Hi,
*** explained when talking to *** that she was not late it was just an error, the system shows theres a balance because she paid ahead but it shows May's charge outstanding because part of her payment was applied to may. we explained that to her and apologized for the inconvenience. the system sent an automatic email to all residents with a balance. her account should not have been recognized as having a balance for the current month. we told support and they fixed immediately and I sent her a copy of the conversation with support to show that.

*** did not hang up the phone with the tenant. I have video footage to show that. the tenant was cursing and screaming and as you can see even by her response we answered her questions, gave her the exact answer as to why she received and email and assured her she was not late and she is still upset. at this point it was just a minor mistake that we apologized for a dozen times and theres no resulting issue. there is nothing else for us to do. she can always log in online to see her account and all her payments. she emailed me and within the minute I responded and went back and forth with her 5 times for an hour to explain again it was a system error and we are sorry and it fixed. theres just nothing else for us to do. im more than happy to send the email chain along to you for your review.
thanks

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I absolutely did NOT CURSE AT ALL! They only apologized after me stating several times how rude *** was and there is STILL not mention of how rude she was. I absolutely did start to raise my voice ONLY because *** raised hers and kept trying to talk over me rather than listen. AGAIN, *** could have offered to contact support instead of trying to shout at me and not hear what I was saying. So again after days I still have not had any mention of why it is OK for your office staff to yell at tenants. Extremely rude and still no care in the world that I was spoken to rudely from the moment *** answered the phone. She didnt even let me finish my explaination before cutting me off, but this business allows their employees to talk to tenants any kind of way and we are supposed to just deal with that. Awful the way this all happened, absolutely awful. I said I wanted an apology from ***, not ***, that means nothing to me because *** was not the one I spoke to on the phone that gave me attitude and continually tried to shout over me. NOW I WANT AN APOLOGY FOR DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER AS I ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT CURSING. This is just what they are now trying to say so they look better about how they handled this situation. I am also adding even though I requested multiple times that *** call me regarding this situation let the record show that as of today 4/25/2018 I have STILL NOT RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM ***. Extremely disappointed.

The company has issued an apology to me and admitted what I said was accurate. I am not happy to have gone through all this but at least they finally actually apologized for the way I was spoken to. I still am adding that I did not curse at anyone and that was thrown in to make them look better in this scenario but that was not the case. I expect a business to say they will look into the problem, not that they will just delete me from the email as that is not fixing the problem. I should not have had to be talked to that way and send numerous emails to get help. I hope that if I need to have any other interaction with this company that it will be much better, that I will be spoken to in a nice manner, taken seriously, helped, and not pushed aside. I am scared of retaliation and will be on the hunt to move and not have to deal with this anymore, just in case. I will never let anyone speak to me any kind of way, not listen, and not help me. As I have stated this may be their job but this is my LIFE, this is where I live, where my family lives, and I cannot get a phone call and then two weeks later get an email stating my rent is late when I have paid ahead almost two months in advance. I appreciate the apologies now and am closing this case.
