Review: We took our vehicle to the shop in good faith, hoping that we would get quality service and what needed to be fixed would be fixed and fixed correctly. $ 3090 .90, we thought our van was fixed. 3 weeks later our van was broken down again, brought it back to the shop because we had a warranty. They diagnosed the van, and said it was something else that was wrong, the alternator. Took it to auto zone because we were skeptical, got it tested and there was nothing wrong. Took it to a different shop, and found out everything that was supposedly fixed was not. More problems arose because of parts that were not fixed properly, not put back and not replaced. We ended up getting pictures taken of what was not done and got a report done. Ended up paying more money to get what was wrong fixed . Tried to contact the owner to discuss the matter but the owner would not meet up.Desired Settlement: Cash refund so that we can get our vehicle fixed the right way.

I'm writing to you in response to a complaint from ID [redacted]. I won't mention names to keep privacy. In early Febuary 2015 he had towed her 2000 nissan quest in to expert car care inc. to have a overheating problem looked into. She had told me that they had not driven the van for a long time due to it was overheating. She did not want to take her van back to who had previously worked on it. We performed a cooling system inspection and found the radiator was blown out, the water pump bypass was leaking. I had suggested we replace the thermostat, and radiator hoses since they were original and we were going to be opening up the cooling system, and this would be a good time to replace since it had overheated. I also explained to them that we would need to recheck the van after the repairs to make sure there were no other problems like the headgaskets and to make sure the cooling fans were working properly.

The owner extremely deviated from work that was agreed upon on written workorder without consent of car owner(customer),and then owner charged car owner(customer) almost full price of originally scheduled work.The original work to be done was extremely involved while the unauthorized work he performed was very simple and quick.Original work was time framed for roughly 2 hours, and vehicle owner was NOT contacted at all by the business for over a 24 hour period. Unauthorized work performed also consumed some supplies provided by the vehicle owner,which are now deemed useless and have to be repurchased by the vehicle owner in order to have the repair done correctly somewhere else. Vehicle owner was Never contacted for an approval on the businesses change of plans for the repair, which, if I was contacted, would have not given my approval. Car was dropped off for repairs in good faith, and the service was appalling. Will never do business here again, nor recommend to others.
