Details of my move with Express Movers and Storage LLC First leg of the move: Express Movers and Storage were hired to pack, protect, and move the contents of their apartment and store it within Express Movers and Storage facility in King of Prussia PA until the girls moved to their new apartment a month later. Express Movers would then deliver contents removed from the first apartment, and deliver and assemble items stored in the new apartment. Two movers were scheduled for a 3-5pm time slot. The movers did not show up until after 8pm. During the timeframe between 3pm until the time they showed up we called the movers, and called the manager of the company, Fadi, to find out their whereabouts. We were told each time we called they were in our town, right around the corner and would be there any minute. This went on for 5 hours. When the movers arrived our residence, there were 3 movers, not the two that we had initially been told. One of the men was extreamly intoxicated and smelled of alchohol. His words were slurred and he began stumbling around the apartment from the minute he entered the premisis. The 3 men were asked multiple times by us to take a tally of items being moved. They were asked to take photos as well prior to protecting furniture items to ensure all items would reach the final destination in the same condition they were taken. The men did not take any photos and did not have a check list to ensure items were accounted for and in what condition they were taken. We were told the movers would protect large furniture and also pack items as part of the move they reserved however the movers refused to wrap, protect or pack anything, even after being asked to do so. We showed the movers the document Express movers had emailed over to us when they booked the move online stating this was part of the package they reserved however, the three movers insisted it would take too long to protect and pack their things and refused to do so. There were three Guitars (one electric, and two acoustic) the girls were having Express movers and storage place in storage with the rest of their things. One of the movers dropped an expensive guitar right off the back of the truck, the guitar was not protected or wrapped. The movers then took the remaining guitars off the truck and gave them to us and said they refused to take these because they felt they were fragile and they refused to store them with all of the other items as well. We had to take them to be stored elsewhere. The movers were also told not to touch a plastic set of drawers housing some financial information (IE taxes, credit card statements, birth certificate etc) and that set of drawers would be taken by the girls to their temporary residence and not be sored however, they picked up the set of drawers with other items anyway and carried them outside to load into the moving truck. We intercepted the drawers outside after we noticed they were missing and asked them to remove the drawers from the truck as they were asked not to touch them. The movers tossed the set of drawers off of the back of the truck and all of our personal files were scattered all across the parking lot. • Later that month and for two months to follow, we have been dealing with identity theft. Items are being charged to credit cards and she has had to enlist a company to help combat identity theft and to help clean up her credit During the move, about half way through (around 9:30pm) two of the men began sexually harassing us, making comments about our bodies and saying sexually perverse things they wanted to do to them. We let them know we did not appreciate these comments and feel uncomfortable in our own home. The man got angry when we did not accept his advances. He proceeded to open a kitchen box labeled “alcohol” and began drinking straight from the bottle, then asked us if we wanted to drink with him too... It was at that moment we moved to one of the empty bedrooms inside the apartment and locked ourselves inside the room to put distance between us and figure out what to do next. I decided to call my father, let him know what was happening, then went back into the living room where the same man who was drinking was attempting to move a vanity with mirrors that were unprotected and smashing into the back of the piece, while the other two were loading the truck outside in the parking lot. When we asked how much longer the packing and moving should take since it was getting late and she and we were frightened. The man got very angry and began throwing the metal polls to a canopy bed out into the hallway. The polls were scratching the apartment hall walls and making a lot of noise. The noise from the man throwing their furniture got the attention of the apartment complex manager who came to make sure everything was okay, saw how shaken we were and noticed how intoxicated and violent the man had become so she called the police (Police report was filed) We immediately called Fadi the owner/manager of Express Movers and Storage to inform him of what was going on. The police responded to our call and were asked to leave the premises. Once the movers left there was one half of my sectional living room couch still in the apartment complex hall way and numerous things still inside the apartment that needed to be moved and stored. Fadi talked with us and apologized and let us know the move would be complimentary, as would the storage of their items and the delivery and assembly of their things at their final location for their trouble. Fadi came back to the apartment the following day to collect the rest of our belongings and place them into storage with the things collected the night before. Fadi also let the apartment complex manager know the one man who made advances towards the girls and drank their alcohol was let go from the company. For the disturbance the movers had created we were issued a $200 citation for noise as well as a separate bill for the damage in the hallway from the movers that they sent into Express Movers. Second Leg of the move: We scheduled the drop off of our things on the specified date a month later at 11am. I also received a phone call confirming they would be there at this time by Fadi himself. My stepmother went to the new apartment to meet the movers there since I was working that day and could not be present. By 5pm that day, and after multiple phone calls from her to find out their whereabouts they were nowhere to be found. Finally, at 6pm they called and let he rknow they were still finishing a previous job and had not even gotten to the storage facility to get my things and load them onto the truck. They told her if she wanted my things that day she would have to wait until late at night. She did not feel comfortable being alone late at night after what happened to us so she reschedule the move for the following day at 11am. She let them know she was the only person who would be there to let them in and we absolutely did not want any of the men who were part of the previous incident present. The men did not show up until 3pm that day, 4 hours late, and they brought along 3 men – 2 of which were at the previous move even though My stepmom and I insisted they were not welcome anywhere near them or their things and Fadi, the manager even agreed and confirmed during the rescheduling that they would not be present. They brought a few bags of items and damaged furniture into the new apartment. She asked where the rest of my things were and why everything was broken and they insisted that was all of the items they removed. My couch was lopsided and my stepmom noticed there were legs missing and she asked where they were. The movers insisted that I had told them during the initial move, that we would bring those legs herself and they did not need to be taken to the storage unit. This is an absurd statement since ¾ of the legs to the sectional sofa were delivered and only 3 were missing. Why would anyone choose to take only 3 of the legs and not the others? They lost those during the move. The movers insisted after they were finished my stepmother needed to pay them for the second half of the move and the men refused to leave until they obtained her credit card number, even though the move was to be complimentary and this was said many times for our troubles during the first move. After the second leg of the move: Once I arrived home I noticed many of my belongings were missing or damaged beyond repair. I immediately called the manager of express movers to discuss my initial findings and frustrations on the promise of free service just to find out they bullied my stepmother into handing over her credit card information to the same men who we called the police on a month earlier. Fadi was not at all helpful and did not offer any solutions to my missing or damaged items. Each time I tried to explain what was missing he would cut me off and not let me finish. I asked him to please send his men back to the storage location, hoping that they accidentally did not pick up all of my belongings and everything was still sitting in the storage unit. Fadi let me know the movers had taken photos and have a checklist of items prior to moving my things from my apartment however I never saw them take any photos or tally up what I had. I also never signed anything since we had to call the police prior to the move being finished. Fadi promised to search the storage unit for my belongings, feet of my couch, etc and he also committed to send me the photos he claims the movers had taken as well as the checklist so I could go through my things to determine what I was missing compared to what was delivered by first thing in the morning on 7/1/2015 at the very latest. I sent one email on 6/30 at 6:31pm asking for the photos and list and did not get a reply. I sent another email on 7/1 at 7:38 asking for the photos and list again and mentioned I was expecting to hear from him that day with no response. I had also called him on July 1st with no answer or call back. I sent another email on July 2nd at 10:06am asking for the photos and list for a third time to reconcile what I received to what was missing and to check in on the status of the legs of my couch etc and called him again that day with no response. Fadi never returned any emails or calls from me. I did receive an email from someone from an [email protected] email address on 7/2 asking for photos I have so they can compare and also letting me know both moves would be complimentary (I had my stepmom cancel her credit card they took the numbers too before leaving so she would not experience identity theft) This email also stated they were going to call me the following day. I responded immediately to this person who actually comes up as “fadi takla” asking for the photos and list again that they supposed had taken at my apartment originally before moving my things, hoping to get a response from this person. I also asked when I should expect a call from him the following day and thanked him for being responsive. I never received a call from fadi, and I never got the photos or checklist or had any further communication regarding all of my missing items.

I am rejecting this response because:
The movers are lying about everything that has happenedThey refused to pick my phonecallsThis prompted me to stop payment after days of trying to reach them to no availThey still turned around when the bank returned the check and tried to cash it in another manner which if I was not vigilant they would have still been successful in getting my money even thought they knew something was wrong because I sent them e-mails informing them of the situationWhen eventually they picked my calls they claimed they had not seen my e-mails I then re sent them the mailsFor days they did not respond until I reported the matter to Revdex.comI was never informed of their insurance process because they never even got in touchI still went ahead and called this movers to know the way forward but all they could do was curse me out on the phone they called me all kinds of unprintable name which prompted me to report the matter so as to protect other consumers from their uncaring attitude.

Hello,
Thank you for choosing Express Movers for your move on 10/27/2015,  We do apologize for the inconvenience however the...

contract was signed and the job was done witch [redacted] had made a stop payment on the check for the entire move the same day the job was completed.
He contacted us 6 days after the job was done to notify us the TV was damaged. Our contract was signed and [redacted] was aware of insurance process witch is $0.60 pound per pound per item. We offer to give him $150.00 to cover for the TV , knowing that our insurance claims expires 3 days after the move.
[redacted] Failed to make a claim with in the window, as well as he stop a check payment for entire move, so that means he does still owe us money for the move, we tried phone calls and letters and or next step is to take it to collection agency.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: It does not compare with my previously stated desired outcome, which at minimum is a refund of the cost required to reframe 2 professional diplomas.  $600.
Mr. T[redacted], Regarding your reply to my Revdex.com complaint:
There was no dispute about the cost of the move; simply that we found it unprofessional that your movers requested some of the payment be in cash, and the rest by check at the end of the move at 1:00 AM, without your business previously informing us of this.
My initial e-mail on July 5 was not the first you heard about the damage to our property.  My husband spoke to you previously via telephone, and you asked that we provided details via e-mail, which we did, including pictures of our damaged property.  You acknowledged this in your only response to me on July 7, stating:
“Hello,
I did acknowledge the complaint and we are working on it.
Please give us 2 to 4 days.
Thanks
[redacted]”
You state your response comes so late because you were unaware of my Revdex.com complaint.  On July 21, after multiple unanswered attempts to contact you, I informed you that I would be contacting the Revdex.com if I did not hear from you by the end of that business day.  The complaint was filed on July 22.  Your nonresponse for 7 weeks cannot be excused by a lack of knowledge.
You request I “remove any wrong comments”.  There are no wrong comments in question.
Our belongings may have been “wrapped and protected” by your standards, but the fact remains that your company provided poor service with careless damage and left us with some missing property. You ignored all direct attempts to correct this, further proving the quality of your customer service.
You even contradict yourself within the text of your response, stating first that my facts are not correct, then stating the customer is always correct. Which is it?
Regards,
[redacted]

We had a terrible and unorganized move with Express Movers & Storage. My client hired the company to move him - the movers were scheduled to load on 1 day and deliver the next day at 11am. It is now 3:46pm and the movers have NOT arrived. Multiple calls out to the main number went unanswered and unreturned. Until I repeated dialed and hung up, redialed and hung up until the call was answered. WE were told at 1:00pm the truck was on it's way and would arrive in 40 min. It's now 2 hours and 45 minutes later and they still have not arrived. Repeated called until they finally answered the phone to be told they were on their way but that they didn't have the delivery address. Funny, the address was provided to them on multiple occasions. Very unprofessional in my opinion - horrible experience!

Express moved us last week from King Of Prussia to Philadelphia. We had two pick up locations, home and storage space, before arriving at the final destination at the T[redacted] They arrived exactly on time:
We needed them to arrive at a particular time (instead of giving us a window) since we had to reserve the elevator at the T[redacted] for a particular 3 hour window. They were very accommodating, very professional and arrived exactly at 9 a.m.
2) They treated our belongings with care and respect:
They were careful to load the truck well - no crushing light boxes with heavy boxes, etc. I've used movers before that put heavy book boxes on top of boxes that had fragile written all over them - as if they were too zoned out to look at the boxes. I had been worried about our digital upright piano, but they were extremely careful with it. Reliable Delivery treated our belonging with care and respect.
3) They didn't waste time:
They got to work right away, padding the furniture and taking inventory as they loaded the truck. There was no hanging around chatting or complaining or wasting time. They moved quickly and professionally. They were respectful of our time and money.
4) They never asked for a tip:
These guys were amazingly hard workers and at no time did they even ask for a tip. I gave them one anyway, because they more than deserved it.
I am so happy I found these guys and I'll definitely use them again, and recommend them to our friends and family.

Items are being charged to credit cards and she has had to enlist a company to help combat identity theft and to help clean up her credit
During the move, about half way through (around 9:30pm) two of the men began sexually harassing us, making comments about our bodies and saying sexually perverse things they wanted to do to them.
The noise from the man throwing their furniture got the attention of the apartment complex manager who came to make sure everything was okay, saw how shaken we were and noticed how intoxicated and violent the man had become so she called the police (Police report was filed)
We immediately called Fadi the owner/manager of Express Movers and Storage to inform him of what was going on.
Second Leg of the move:
We scheduled the drop off of our things on the specified date a month later at 11am.
After the second leg of the move:
Once I arrived home I noticed many of my belongings were missing or damaged beyond repair.

Hi! I am in the process of filing 2 civil legal actions against the 2 companies involved - one including an ‘Express Moving & Storage’ registered in Passaic. NJ. If u were involved in this with that Express Movers, May I ask if you can contact me (email @ end) - I’d much rather have a class action filed for as many people as experienced this theft/scheme & id like to get all of us together in a group online & document.
I am at:
Fluffyorion @ Hotmail.com
It’s the only chance we have - unless the attorney generals work quickly on claims they have & prosecute. If this was a different moving company just similar name, disregard - I do hope you can resolve either way, I know I need resolution and my furniture would be great too...!
