Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Ms [redacted] This is the first time I have been able to respond to the request due to our computers are not talking to each other? This is the 3rd time I try I would like to continue my complaint against Mr [redacted] and Ms [redacted] as Falcon Gold When I met with him, he weighed the jewelry and the said diamonds and stated they were realI gave him no direction about the pieces, he is the jeweler and I believed when he told me what the pieces were worth He even blew on the diamonds and showed me how he could tell that they were indeed real I told me I would keep the stones and he could have the gold After he tested the pieces he asked me if I would take $for them I told him it was his call, I did not know, he was the expert He gave me a check for that amount and asked me not to deposit it until the next day, which I did as I was going out of town for weeks To my surprise when I returned home there was the returned check(ISF) in my account plus a the $charge Therefore I was out $(I paid for Schooling) and still have no money and no jewelry I had a yelling message from Mr [redacted] sating he said to wait which I did I have texted him and told him to please make the check good My bank recommended I go to his bank and have them cash it Since I had not tried to re-deposit it, which I did and they had stopped payment on the check This is when they recommend that I get in touch with you This sort of thing has never happened before and I need a resolution and my money plus the charges ( [redacted] has been very helpful and I appreciated his help Thank you for your consideration, this situation has put me a bad position I am a retired teacher and I do count my pennies and try to help by family as much as I can I would appreciate your assistance Sent from Mail for Windows Regards, [redacted]

This is a classic example why complaints happen that have NO merit I did give a check to the complaintant and asked when I had a chance to test the product she assured me was 14KT gold to find out that all but small piece was actually not gold at all, had only piece of 14kt and the
balance was 10kt The check was to pay for all 14kt with more to come after figuring what the diamond chips could acquire As it turns out the chips in all but piece were not diamonds to go along with no gold value I called within minutes to ask her not to deposit the check at all as the total would not come near what the check was for, and we needed to find time and place to meet to give back all that was fraudulent told was diamonds and 14kt or better in gold I called several times and several numbers but she apparently was out of town I am currently out of town and want to set time and place just like I had asked when I return Be I in business or closed as I am, the real truth should be known Sorry this had to be written

Obviously we are at a stalemate, I have stated my case to her at the time about not depositing and then with determining I was fraudulently sold what was not gold or diamonds.  I asked she not put the check in and she agreed we would meet and pick them up and give her cash for what was, she stood me up on meet times and then became unavailable, my offer still stands, cash for what was real, return of all that was not.  It appears the complainant is unaware of the meaning of fraud.  I will bring charges if we can not resolve this immediately.

This is in response to the complaint from [redacted], my customer who brought in with his wife a David Yurman watch they said they purchased several years before and over the course of the years, the watch rarely or never worn, I forget the exact quote, it became when worn, uncomfortable to wear due...

to size of the band.  Gold Falcon Jewelry and Gift is not and has never been a retail source for David Yurman product but we do try and help on fixing problems with jewelry.  The customer asked what could be done, knowing that any altering of the piece in the exact state it was in would void any and all warranties the piece had, I suggested that MAYBE my master jeweler I use could find a solution like a small add-on that would attach but not alter the current watchband.  Being it would be very small piece of sterling silver, when asked the price I said IF she could do it, it MIGHT be as little as $100 but it was all up to the jeweler as to what I had in mind was even a possible fix. 
I carried it to her the next day and before I could even talk to her about what I wanted, when she saw Yurman, she said no.  No to making a piece for it, no to anything Yurman.  History she said, demanded passing on the job.  I have several jewelers I work with and over the course of the next several weeks, each and every jeweler passed on touching the piece.  Because the same answer and because it was taking time, I called and said it appeared our only choice was to send it to New York to the, I now know, only place to have any work done on a Yurman piece that would sustain the warranty.  I was given the approval and because of the value of the watch and Yurman pieces in general I fully insured to the New York facility and they received and within a few weeks got back to me about the cost to make the watch what I wanted and when they saw the watch had not been used in years, it needed to work, some fixes to the timepiece.  The little fix I had thought could be done was not an option at all, the only way to make the watch what my customer wanted was a replacement of the entire band with a larger band.  The cost was quoted to me and relayed back to my customer as being $502.50 for all work and shipping the watch back. 
Because this watch carries a high value, because of non use of the piece and the extent of want was being done, the cost was a lot higher than what I thought my quick fix was to be.  Just the replacement of the band before shipment was quoted as 2 weeks work.  Time had mounted up, not as long as some of this type can take, but [redacted] was very upset, wanted the work done at the $100 estimate and when I quoted the fixed version like they wanted by the official place, the price is very good considering all work that was to be done, he became unworkable at paying any charges and demanded it fixed for free.  I now believe based on this whole fiasco, he/they knew what it would cost, tryed to get someone to alter the piece and then any problems it would be the jeweler who touched or altered the watches fault.  I have bills for shipping up, $19.95, that was okayed and $40 for return shipment of this watch that must be paid for my customer to receive it back.  These charges are at no profit, exact cost and for all my time, and harassment on this repair, way too cheap.  I want all my customers happy with shopping in my store, this one however I feel was out to take advantage of someone to get a very nice expensive watch fixed for free.
I will have the watch in my store very soon and will call the customer to let him know he can pick it up for the charges I have incurred.
