Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/08/20) */ I cut this tree within two hours of his callI went way out of my way and put other people off to tend to his needsBecause we were working our trailer was fullWe got his entire tree in the trailer except for a foot by inches diameter section of the trunkI told him that we would try our best to get back there by the end of the day but if I couldn't it would happen in the next few daysI had spoken to him bobcat operator and he DID NOT want the trunk any lower because he needed it for leverage [redacted] I finally got his verbal consent to finish the cut which took all of minutesJob completePlease note that everything was cleaned and raked [redacted] Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 10, 2015/08/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) [redacted] He was never in touch with my bobcat operator ( [redacted] In any event, my arrangement with him was to remove the entire tree - he was providing services to me under a contract that was fully paid, [redacted] After several attempts to get him to finish the job, I told him that we were travelling out of town on holiday and that it would be best if he completed the job before we leftI never told him to stay off my property - I merely said that I would not grant him permission to come into our property while we were away, unless he could guarantee that he would be responsible for any damage that occurred while we were awayThis exchange occurred after several requests to him to complete the jobHe finally said he would guarantee responsibility for any damage, upon which I granted him permission to enter while we were awayHowever, he still did not finish the job while we were away even though he had my express permission to do so [redacted] While he did eventually complete the job, it was not until two days after I filed this complaint, and a couple of weeks after I paid him and he started the jobOur arrangement was that he complete the job in one visit [redacted]
