Review: I talked with [redacted] about doing music for our wedding. He told us to fill out am agreement from his website and mail it in with a $250 deposit to secure the date. We filled out an agreement and sent a check. We never received a call letting us know if our date was secured so we tried to contact him. I made phone calls to him daily in attempts to ensure our date was secured and what we needed to do next. After over a couple of weeks of calling we finally heard back. He said we should fill out a checklist from his website for the order of events. After filling that sheet out, we attempted to contact him again to set up a time to discuss the wedding. We attempted to contact him for 2 weeks and still have not heard from him.Desired Settlement: I would like my $250 deposit back as he has made no attempt to contact us regarding the wedding.

Dear Sirs,

In response to complaint ID [redacted], I believe my customer grossly over reacted. I always request my clients contact me a week before their wedding/reception to finalize any details, and to answer any questions. This customer started calling me several weeks before that time, when I was on vacation out of country, and had no access to voice mail, email, or phone. When I returned, which was the week before the scheduled wedding, I phoned my customer, and found that because he could not get in touch with me previously, he contracted with another DJ. He also insisted on the full refund of the deposit, which I have sent to the individual who originally sent the deposit. He also contacted the local law enforcement, which in my mind is completely over the top. I do apologize that I did not have communication during my vacation when he was trying to contact me, and that we could not have continued as scheduled. Again, the deposit has been refunded completely.
