Ms. *** began visiting our store on the 23rd of August to attempt to trade out of the Kia Soul and subsequently returned two more times before we came to terms that she agreed toWe did our very best to work with her to get her out of the and into a new
and we were very clear about the terms of the lease which she entered into to on that last visitWhile we never, ever like for a customer to be dissatisfied with a deal that we make, sometimes it happensMs*** was happy when she left the dealership in her new car and I'm not sure what transpired to change thatI assure you that we were crystal clear as to the term, trade allowance, and every other facet of the dealAfter having tried to trade unsuccessfully the other two times, I know that it was not a hasty decision on her part to have made the deal with usI truly regret that she is not pleased however, I appreciate all of the opportunity that she gave us to serve herIf she can see her way to it again, I will make certain our staff does everything we can to meet her automotive needs.Regards,Barry M***General Manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. The majority of the information in this letter is the first time I have heard
these responses I asked numerous times what the issue was that caused my loan to be sent back and the only response I received was that my payment would be loweredRick stated that Ray Skillman had made the mistake causing the loan to be sent back and not due to the loan company Again, I was also given a different reason by the loan company which further confuses me on what really happened Rick states he contacted me multiple time, which I can prove is inaccurate with a copy of my phone records I did actually make it up to the dealership, but at a time that Rick was not available I told a rep there I needed to resign my contract paper work, he pulled my contract, had another rep look at my contract, and they BOTH determined that nothing else was needed from me, the loan had been approved and there was nothing else needed and I was good to go! Due to the fact that the loaner vehicle given to me was much smaller than what I traded and what I purchased, I could not fit my family in the car at the same time to make a sporadic trip to the dealership for an issue that I did not cause I find it extremely odd that the only person who has been able to see there was an issue with the contract is the person who initiated the contract and also replied to my response As the manager over the finance department I find it highly unlikely that he is unaware of the rules and regulations when it comes to issuing plates for purchased vehicles Also, none of these issues started until it was made known that they were going to have to replace the engine in the vehicle.I was never offered Gap insurance nor told the price in the office when I signed my contract because as stated before, he told me nothing was changing but the price and the purchase date (which shows the purchase date as 6/26/with the info sent to the BMV but that contract was supposed to be invalid and the new contract date is 8/3/-- my vehicle is registered with the state of indiana with a purchase date of 6/26/and I have contracts dated 6/26/and dated 8/3/17.) It was not until I got home and read over the contract carefully with my husband that it was noticed the Gap insurance was gone I can prove again with phone records that I called and spoke to them then immediately called my insurance to have the Gap insurance added (because again I do not purchase vehicles without gap insurance) IF I had been advised in the office that there was no gap coverage, I would have gladly paid the $as I had the cash on hand that day Rick is who I have been dealing with throughout this entire process, whats more frightening is to find out that this man is the Manager over the area of finance for this dealership, and I really do not think that anyone will find or speak against the manager of finance, especially if it is found that what has been done is illegal Im almost positive that they cannot send paperwork to the state of indiana showing I purchased the vehicle on 6/26/yet they give me a contract stating my purchase date is 8/3/ I respectfully request if possible that an outside agency look into this issue to uncover any wrong doing that may have taken place I still request a discount on the vehicle because it has become obvious with all the different things that have been told to me that I still really do not know what happened, and the parties involved have continued to give inaccurate information rather due to lack of accurate information on their part or on purpose, but either way, someone needs to be held responsible for the fact that options were taken from me without my knowledge and I was not informed I did express my dissatisfaction to Rick, his response was " im sorry you feel that way, have a good day" nothing was said or done to rectify what had been done, including offering me to purchase the Gap insurance out of pocket for $ The first time I have heard that I actually could have purchased it was in the response letter to my complaint.

Dear Ms. [redacted],I apologize for not responding to your email in a more timely manner; this is a secondary email address and I just opened last evening. Regarding the complaint by [redacted], The following are the circumstances from the dealership's position:Ms. [redacted]'s car was repaired...

in our body shop for relatively minor damage to the rear end. We replaced the bumper cover and repaired a spot on the quarter panel behind the cover. Our body shop test drove the car and heard nothing, but sent it over to the mechanical service repair shop to evaluate. When it was on the lift, it was noted that the right side control arms, both front and rear, were bent. It appeared that the suspension damage was old damage, so with the mutual responsibility that our shop has with all of our partner insurance companies, we took picture of the damaged control arms and forwarded those pictures to [redacted] to let them to determine whether or not they would approve the repair of the control arms. [redacted] agreed with our service department that the damage was not related to the damage to the rear bumper and refused to pay for the repair. Ms. [redacted]'s issue is not with our body shop or our service department but with [redacted]. I assure you that we like to repair cars- it's how we make a living. If the insurance company won't pay for it and the customer won't, we can't perform the repair.Feel free to contact me at 317-352-9500 if you have further questions.Regards,Barry M[redacted]General Manager

Ms. [redacted],I apologize; I'm as lost in this complaint as any complaint that I have received. Ms. [redacted]'s Mitsubishi was purchased from the Ray Skillman dealership on the south side of Indy. Her complaint states that she purchased het car, a 2011 Mitsubishi Galant, on 4-9-11 for $30,000.00 and that...

her first problem occurred on 5-20-11.  Ms. [redacted] lists a disputed amount of $15000.00 and I do not understand why. I have the ability to look into the south side location's records and I discovered that on 5-28-11, she purchased the car for $25000.00 less a $3500.00 rebate.I give this back history to indicate that Ms. [redacted] appears to be inaccurate in her reporting of the facts. I delved into our service records that show that 8-30-12 we saw the Galant and Ms. [redacted] said that she had hit a pot hole and damaged the left side tires.  As it turned out, both left side tires were replaced, as was the left front wheel. Then on 5-17-13 we patched a tire that had a hole in it and the last time we saw her car was 1-19-17 to replace the left front tire due to a hole in the sidewall. If Ms. [redacted] did, in fact, buy all brand new tires a year ago, she didn't buy them from us. I can't see how she would expect us to correct something that we didn't do. As far as the 'warranty for life' that she requested, a competing dealer in our market used that as an advertising gimmick some years back. That whole promotion blew up when the company that administered the warranty went out of business. Thanks,Barry M[redacted]General Manager
