[redacted] Gilbert, Az 85298   Revdex.com Ref Complaint #[redacted]   This letter is in response to the letter from Juan B[redacted] owner and president of JBC Mechanical.  In 2014 Juan and company replaced my AC/Heating unit.  Sense that time I have had some issues that I have had to ask Mr. B[redacted] and Son back out to my home to resolve. Prior to the latest issue, there was a water leak in my living room ceiling below the heating unit that Mr. B[redacted] and company installed.  According to Mr. B[redacted] this water leak could not have been Caused by the AC/Heating installation unit that they installed even though the leak was directly under the unit he installed, but the ten years prior, I had never had any problems with water leaks in my ceiling.   However Juan did agree to repair the problem without cost to me.   I had JBC out to do  preventive manitanence over the last couple years, but I always felt that his charges were a bit excessive.  I had my home build in 2004.   In 2014 I figured my AC/Heating unit should be replaced, not because I was having any problems but because the Arizona head demands well maintained equipment.  The resent issue came about because I wanted Juan to put my mind to rest about what I felt was a strange noise in the compressor unit.  As it turns out my concern was unfounded.  However Mr B[redacted] took the cover off the compressor unit placed his bare hand on the (startup capicator)  and said the capicator and the (contactor unit) both needed to be replaced.  I questioned his assessement  having worked for 20 years with IBM on computers and motor generators and knowing the proper way to test a capisitor involves a bit more than the touch of ones hand.  Furthermore Mr. B[redacted] lied to my wife and I about the cost of the parts.  [redacted] warrantee department advised me the all parts on the unit that I bought from them is under a 10 year warrantee while Mr. B[redacted] insisted  that everything on the unit is under warrantee with the exception of these two particular parts.  His rational for this lie was that all of the [redacted] ware-houses had moved out of Arizona therefore he had to buy parts from other manufactors and pay for the parts out of pocked and past the cost on to me.  More lies.  [redacted] directed me to a Nortech warehouse in the Phoenix area where the parts were instock, and they were good enough to provide the correct part numbers.        I passed this information on to Mr. B[redacted] and advised him that I was contacting my lawyer, at which point Mr. B[redacted] called called me to say not only was he returning my $494 that he billed me for warranteed parts but he also supplyed me with the correct parts and that is the rest of the story.   By the way I have had the parts installed in the AC compressor so as to maintain my other 7 1/2 year warrantee.
